  • Can extension methods be applied to interfaces?

    Hi, Is it possible to apply an extension method to an interface? (C# question) That is for example to achieve the following: create an ITopology interface create an extension method for this interface (e.g. public static int CountNodes(this ITopology topologyIf) ) then when creating a class (e.g. MyGraph) which implements ITopology, then it would automatically have the Count Nodes extension. This way the classes implementing the interface would not have to have a set class name to align with what was defined in the extension method.

    My program is supposed to ask the user for firstname, lastname, and phone number till the users stops.   • IE7 not Caching CSS Image over SSL

    Hello, I'm using the WebDevHelper toolbar for Internet Explorer to troubleshoot HTTP requests/roundtrips on my SSL site and noticed that IE re-downloads my CSS :hover images every time they are triggered. This causes a huge amount of roundtrips. How can I prevent this from happening? Edit: All static content is served with cache-control: public, so images, javascript etc. are cached in Firefox and Chrome. This problem is IE specific.

    i have a repeater inside a dynamic control, i am trying to get the items of the repeater in a postback prior to databinding. this seems to work when i have a static repeater where the items are still intact, but when my repeater is inside a dynamic control and i try to get "repeater.Items", the count is always 0. is this normal behavior for repeaters when being placed inside a dynamic control?

    I am looking for an answer to a specific problem of fetching whole LINQ object hierarchy using single SELECT. At first I was trying to fill as much LINQ objects as possible using LoadOptions, but AFAIK this method allows only single table to be linked in one query using LoadWith. So I have invented a solution to forcibly set all parent objects of entity which of list is to be fetched, although there is a problem of multiple SELECTS going to database - a single query results in two SELECTS with the same parameters in the same LINQ context. Id like to know how can I receive a request with nginx (or any other static file server), and send it to different web servers depending on IP's location. But why do I need to return an Action from the subscibe parameter and when will it actually be called?
