  • Ftp file watcher like SystemFileWatcher in .net?

    Hi, In my project I need to watch multiple FTP Folders continuosly, if any new file comes i need pick the filename and do some process. If that is normal Windows/Local File System folder I can achieve this by using SystemFileWatcher of .net. Is there any thing like SystemFilewatcher to watch FTP folders? Thanksnrk

  • Protobuf-net Deserialize Open Street Maps

    For the life of me I cannot deserialize the protobuf file from Open Street Maps. I am trying to deserialize the following extract: http://download.geofabrik.de/osm/north-america/us-northeast.osm.pbf to get Nodes and I am using http://code.google.com/p/protobuf-net/ as the library. I have tried to deserialize a bunch of different objects but they all come up null. The proto files can be found here: http://trac.openstreetmap.org/browser/applications/utils/export/osm2pgsql/protobuf Any suggestions?

  • Clear Asp.Net cache from outside of application (not using source code)

    Hi, I have a asp.net web application and I'm using cache (HttpRuntime.Cache) to save some stuff from db. I also update db from time to time so that data in db does not match the data in my application's cache. Is there any way how to clear my application's cache without modifying any source code or republishing the page? I tried to restart IIS and to clear browsers cache but nothing helps. Please help.

  • error loading (TypeLoadException) on asp.net/xsp/mono on debian/opensuse

    When i reset apache and load my website i get the first error below. I have no idea what the problem is. If i reload the page again (without restarting apache) i get the 2nd error, probably because the first error occurred and BaseUser is the first class/func that Application_Start uses. Why am i getting this load exception? Whats messed up is i tried using mono's VMWare img to debug it and i got the very same exception (until i restarted which now refuses to give me anything but 404 errors). However when i use mono develop to run the project the site runs PERFECT. WTF. Any ideas? Server Error in '/' Application A type load exception has occurred. Description: HTTP 500.     I need to hide columns in GridView Then access the values of these in the GridViewSelectedIndexChanged using vb.net. When I set DataBound columns is false cant acces the values.   • Why is TransactionScope using a distributed transaction when I am only using LinqToSql and Ado.Net

    We are having problems on one machine, with the error message: "MSDTC on server XXX is unavailable." The code is using a TransactionScope to wrap some LingToSql database code; there is also some raw Ado.net inside of the transaction. As only a single sql database (2005) is being accessed, why is a distributed transaction being used at all? (I don’t wish to know how to enable MSDTC, as the code needs to work on the server with their current setup)

(A multiset, or bag, is a set that can have duplicate values, and on which you can do set operations: intersection, difference, etc. A shopping cart for instance could be thought of as a multiset because you can have multiple occurrences of the same product.)

    I wonder how long will an ASP.NET (MVC) application run, when no new requests come in? Lets say I'm using an IOC Container ans have a Singleton Object serving to the clients. As far as I know it will serve different page requests. But how long will it live when no new request come in? Is there any timeout (maybe configured through IIS) that says when my app will shut down?
