    Hi, I'm trying to count several joined tables but without any luck, what I get is the same numbers for every column (tUsers,tLists,tItems). My query is: select COUNT(users.*) as tUsers, COUNT(lists.*) as tLists, COUNT(items.*) as tItems, companyName from users as c join lists as l on c.userID = l.userID join items as i on c.userID = i.userID group by companyID The result I want to get is --------------------------------------------- # | CompanyName | tUsers | tlists | tItems 1 | RealCoName | 5 | 2 | 15 --------------------------------------------- what modifications do i have to do to my query to get those results? I would like to be able to 'parse' in all the words and get a ranking of the most used words (disregarding common words) to spot a trend. How can I do this? Is there a program I can use?     A certain function in my controller takes a lot of time to process (heavy db work) . So when my user clicks on "submit" on the form he has to wait for the process to complete which is quite long. Is there any way that on "submitting", the user is redirected to the next view without any delay while the processing continues in the back-end without making the user wait ? Thanks & Cheers !

I have come across this one, but it has not been updated since 2008. If not can anyone recommend a good book/tutorial site for this kind of set up?   • Why can't c# calculate exact values of mathematical functions

    Hey everyone, Why can't c# do any exact operations. Math.Pow(Math.Sqrt(2.0),2) == 2.0000000000000004 I know how doubles work, I know where the rounding error is from, I know that it's almost the correct value, and I know that you can't store infinite numbers in a finite double. But why isn't there a way that c# can calculate it exactly, while my calculator can do it.   • Missing Required Gems - javan-whenever and cron job in rails

    Hi, I have finally managed to get javan-whenever gem working on my site5 server, and updating the crontab is quite easy, however whenever a cron job is run with the code that is generated, i get a "missing required gems" error where it lists about 8/10 of my gems. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what would the solution be. The funny thing is that when it outputs where my gems are, this is all correct, and the gems are loading fine from within my application. Cheers, Matenia

    Well, I'm planning on releasing a Jar into the world but would prefer if the code was not readably available to anyone with a Java Decompiler as I want to control access to the program with usernames / auth codes etc. After some Googling I haven't found any software to do this for me, so I was wondering what steps to take from here; if anyone can point me at any software or information on methodologies of obscurification I would be grateful.   • Problem with using the XPATH functions

    I've got a problem with using the XPATH functions. When I try to call some functions like lower-case or upper-case etc,they are not executed and I can't figure the problem out. I included the namespace xmlns:fn="http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-functions" at the top of my XSL stylesheet and use fn namespace to call these functions but anyway nothing is working. Can anyone explain the reason and what I should do in order to be able to use the following functions? Cheers

  • inputAccessoryView not hide the view when -resignFirstResponder?

    I have attached a toolbar with a UITextField and UIButton to the keyboard when it becomes the first responder via the user taping inside the textfield textField.inputAccessoryView = theToolbar; Problem is, the toolbar disappears when the keyboard is dismissed, thus preventing any further input. Any ideas on how to make the toolbar go back to the bottom of the screen rather than off it completely? I'm thinking a delegate method might help but Im really not too sure. It seems once the inputAccessoryView always the inputAccessoryView :( Cheers

    Im doing some form validation on a website and I've tried to use JQuery Validator and it works find but isn't valid as it uses custom attributes. I've tried every which way to make it valid but it seems besides some other custom javascript, which is not an option, it isn't valid. Has anyone come across one that is valid? Or some other way to make it valid? I've tried custom dtds, adding the attribute to the doctype but that leaves a ] on the page. Cheers

    Hey stackoverflow :) I wanna use webbrowser control in c++(im using dev cpp). Ages ago when i was using VB6 i just added webbrowser control (C:\Windows\System32\shdocvw.dll) to my form and it worked but im lost in C++... should i load it dynamically with LoadLibrary and then somehow put it on my dialog window or how? I also wanna use all features like navigate to page, edit html elements, submit a form, read page source, ... Someome got some snippet? Cheers
