    We are building a website on Google App Engine, using django patch. We would like to use Facebook connect for two purposes: Authenticate users. Access user's social data. Searching for a solution in the usual places (google, FB, SO) brigs up a lot of noise, many partial solutions and no clear answer.   • Refactored App Engine project - now Eclipse is infinitely building the project without end

    I renamed some files in my App Engine project and refactored code, changing references to variables. Everything seemed fine until I changed the references in the web.xml for the project. Then I got a complaint about some error with the DataNucleus enhancer and now the project build process is stuck at 22%. I tried stopping Eclipse and restarting but the build process keeps hanging. Any tips on how to clean out whatever it's getting stuck on?

    Hi, I am using appcfg.py to upload data to datastore from a csv file. But every time I try, I am getting error: [info ] Authentication failed even if i am using Admin id and password. In my app.yaml file I am having: handlers: - url: /remote_api script: $PYTHON_LIB/google/appengine/ext/remote_api/handler.py login: admin - url: .* script: MainHandler.py Can anybody please help me? But those values are not getting reflected. when it reades next time. Is it manadatory to restart service eveyr time we change config values?     I have tried a few options, none of which seem to work (if I have a simple multipart form with a named field, it works well, but when I don't know the name I can't just grab all files in the request...). I have looked at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/81451/upload-files-in-google-app-engine and it doesn't seem suitable (or to actually work, as someone mentioned the code snipped it untested).

  • Give app.config another name after build?

    As you all know, when you build a project with an app.config file it gets copied to the bin directory and renamed $(targetFileName).config. Is it possible for it to be called something else? For example if my executable is called myApplication.exe, can I have the config file called settings.config as opposed to myApplication.exe.config? Cheers
