  If i have a product. var p = new Product { Price = 30 }; and i have the following linq query. var q = repo.Products().Where(x=>x.Price == p.Price).ToList() In an IQueryable provider, I get a MemberExpression back for the p.Price which contains a Constant Expression, however I can't seem to get the value "30" back from it.   I seem to see such errors quite often in our SVN 1.6 repo. We got these quite a lot while we used to just work on /trunk so I don't think it's due to merge/branching confusion. It seems that a cleup and marking the conflict resolved always works, but it's a little concerning to see errors in your version control system when you're just adding/updating/deleting files. What causes it?

  Is there a way to rewrite the hg commit message if the wrong information was entered? We always include our Bug ID when we commit a changeset. For instance: hg commit -m "Bug 14585: LastName field should be mandatory" But If I put the wrong bug ID, is there a way (through an extension maybe) to fix the comment once the changeset has been committed and pushed to a central repo?

• OPS4j repository alternative

  The OPS4J repository is down at present and I am trying to run pax-provision using a profile for spring-dm. My question is how do I tell maven to locate the profile information from a site other than ops4j.org. Is this possible? ideally I would like to cache all the packages from the repo especially the spring-dm details which seem never to be cached and are downloaded all the time making coding on the train and times when the site is down impossible.   I followed the instructions on how to setup qimportbz here; I'm on WinXP and instead of adding: [extensions] qimportbz = C:\mozilla\mercurial\qimportbz to a .hgrc file I updated a Mercurial.ini file which seems to be the correct file to add extensions to for me.. then when I run hg help qimportbz I see the help for the qimportbz cmd, but when I try to run hg qimportbz 548590 for example, on the jetpack-sdk hg repo, I get the following error: hg: unknown command 'qimportbz'

  I am using M2Eclipse (0.10.0, Maven 3)in projects. I can add Maven dependency using m2eclipse. But dependency jars couldn't be downloaded. Instead, it created a file in each local repo folder named [JAR_Name].jar.lastupdate. The content of this file is some thing like : http\://[REPO_URL]/central/=1276221188566 Even using Maven 3 command line. Jars couldn't be downloaded. Any idea about how could this happen?

  I've written a gem and within a file I am doing this to autoload my main gem logic: $:.push File.expand_path('lib', __FILE__) require "oa-casport/version" require 'omniauth/core' module OmniAuth module Strategies autoload :Casport, 'omniauth/strategies/casport' end end For Ruby versions 1.8.7 and ree, it prints out "no such file to load - omniauth/strategies/casport' But it doesn't print out this message on version 1.9.2. • What's the equivalent of use-commit-times for git?

  I need the timestamps of files on my local and on my server to be in sync. This is accomplished with Subversion by setting use-commit-times=true in the config so that the last modified of each file is when it was committed. Each time I clone my repository, I want the timestamps of files to reflect when they were last changed in the remote repository, not when I cloned the repo. Is there any way to do this with git?

  I'm running the latest Mercurial and Python 2.6; IIS6 is using the wildcard ISAPI method to attach the site to the Mecurial hgwebdir_wsgi [paths] \ = \\COMP3254\TestRepo\* [web] baseurl = / allow_push = * push_ssl = false style = monoblue The setup works perfectly if I reference the local drive E:\repo* but doesnt work if I specify the network as above; I've given the server (MERCDEV01$) full permissions on the shared folder on COMP3254, I can't think of any other reason it wouldn't work. Any ideas?

Then someone makes a quick change that would require me to basically go through all of them to merge etc. Is there a shortcut to go through all the branches I have here, merge them with whatever work that was fetched, then rebase them?
