  • 404 Not Found When Requesting URI With Encoded Patameters

    I am pretty sure this is some problem with the Apache configuration because it used to work on the previous hosting provider with the same PHP/MySQL configuration. In my application, users are able to delete photos by going to URIs like this: http://example.com/my-account/remove-media/id/9/ret/my-account%252Fedit-album%252Fid%252F1 The paramater id is an id of a photo to be removed, the parameter ret is a relative URL where user should be redirected after the removal of the photo but after clicking on a link like that I get 404 Not Found error with the text: Not Found The requested URL /public/my-account/remove-media/id/9/ret/my-account/edit-album/id/1 was not found on this server. Though it used to work on my previous hosting provider so I guess it is just some easy Apache configuration issue?   • text not wrapping around some floated images, wraps in IE & FF but not chrome, safari

    This is unlike anything I've read about and I've been totally scratching my head for the last few hours trying to figure out what's going on. I have a hand-coded site @ hartbro.com Part of the site is a blog, in which I include pictures. Here's the HTML code around one of the images that's causing trouble. <a href="blogcontent/090811.jpg" class="img"> <img src="blogcontent/090811.jpg" alt="Downed trees" width="25%" class="floatright" /></a> The storm left as quickly as it came. The sky cleared up and we were glad that the oppressive heat had let up. What I've noticed is that, on some of the blog entries that include more than one image, the 2nd image isn't really floating like its supposed to be, with the text wrapping around it. I figure its got to be some sort of conflict with some CSS that I have that's causing the problem but I just can't figure out what it is. I don't understand how it works in FF & IE but not Chrome or Safari?? Here's all of the relevant CSS, let me know if you need anything else.   • Google Reader API - feed/[FEEDURL]/ is coming back as Not found

    There is one feed I'm subscribed to which always turns up as NOT FOUND when I try to use the API. I return an array of Dictionaries, containing 3 objects. The first in the list represents the user himself, like so: { FeedID = "user/MY_UNIQUE_NUMBER/state/com.google/reading-list"; Timestamp = 1273448807271463; Unread = 59; } The Unread count is very important. My client depends on downloading 59 items from Google before it refreshes. If a feed doesn't download properly, the count is off and the client won't update. An example of a working Feed is here: { FeedID = "feed/http://arstechnica.com/index.rssx"; Timestamp = 1273447158484528; Unread = 13; } The FeedID value combines with a specially formatted URL string and gives back a list of articles. The above example works fine. However, the following feed always returns NOT FOUND on Google, and if I paste the URL verbatim into a browser, it never turns up.     Hi There! I've been working on this one quite a bit and haven't gotten any closer to a solution. I juut dug up my old copy of the WindowsHookLib again - It's available with source at http://www.codeproject.com/KB/DLL/WindowsHookLib.aspx. This library allows Global Windows Mouse/Keyboard/Clipboard Hooks, which is very useful. I'm trying to use the Mouse Hook in here to Capture Mouse-Motion (I could use a Timer that always polls Cursor.Position, but I plan on using more features of WindowsHookLib later). Code as follows: MouseHook mh = new MouseHook(); mh.InstallHook(); mh.MouseMove += new EventHandler<WindowsHookLib.MouseEventArgs>(mh_MouseMove); But on the call to InstallHook(), I get an Exception: "The specified Module could not be found". Strange. Searching, I found that someone thought this occurs because a DLL is not in a place included in the Windows PATH variable, and because placing it in system32 didn't help I went the whole hog and translated the thing to C# for inclusion directly in my project (I was curious how it works). However the error was obstinately persistent, so I dug a bit on this, and found the Code in the Library that is responsible: In InstallHook(), we have IntPtr hinstDLL = Marshal.GetHINSTANCE(Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().GetModules()[0]); this._hMouseHook = UnsafeNativeMethods.SetWindowsHookEx(14, this._mouseProc, hinstDLL, 0); if (this._hMouseHook == IntPtr.Zero) { throw new MouseHookException(new Win32Exception(Marshal.GetLastWin32Error()).Message); } And this (after modification and recompile) tells me that what I'm really getting is a Windows error "ERROR_MOD_NOT_FOUND"! Now, Here I'm stumped. Didn't I just compile the Hook Library directly into my project? (UnsafeMethods.SetWindowsHookEx is just a DllImported Method from user32) Any Answers, or Prods in the right direction, or any hints, pointers or similar are very much appreciated!

    Hi, I want to create a normal AlertDialog. I used the example provided by the android dev docs. I just changed the DIALOG_PAUSED_ID to DIALOG_DELETEDB.     I wanted to install tomcat on my Debian 6.0.4 machine. I tried apt-get install tomcat6-user which worked fine. One my controller actions sends an F# list to the view, so I write: <%@ Page Language="C#" Inherits="ViewPage<FSharpList<int>>" %> Of course, for this to work, I have to add Microsoft.FSharp.Collections to the namespaces element in my web.config: <add namespace="Microsoft.FSharp.Collections"/> and add a reference to FSharp.Core, in the assemblies element: <add assembly="FSharp.Core, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a"/> As soon as I add this assembly reference, every view (whether it uses an F# type or not) fails with this error: error FS1221: FSharp.Core.sigdata not found alongside FSharp.Core I can work around this by not having any F# specific types in my views, but what's the reason for this error? Also, where's FSharp.Core.sigdata ? It's not in my GAC and I can't find it anywhere.

If we type in now 3992999 the auto-complete function should top showing anything up ...but unfortunately it still does, (could the problem lie within the fact that I am using integers instead of strings or chars?)     I have myClass instantiated by my appDelegate, I have another class, newClass instantiated by myClass. From the newClass instance, I want to access a property in the myClass instance that created it. I have done this by: [[[UIApplication sharedApplication].delegate myClass] property] This works, I can actually get the property but I get this warning from Xcode: warning: "-myClass" not found in protocols warning: no "-myClass" method found (messages without a matching signature will be assumed to return "id" and accept "..." as arguments) The newClass property has been correctly declared in the .h and .m files, it's properties have been set and it has been synthesized. It compiles and runs and I can actually get the property's value. Should I ignore the warning in Xcode? Is there a better way to access the myClass instance's property?

    Due to using quad buffered stereo 3D (which i have not included yet), i need to migrate my openGL program from a SFML window to a glut window. With SFML my vertices and display list were properly displayed, now with glut my window is blank white (or another color depending on the way i clear it).     I am dealing with a project designed for iPhone OS 2.0 and I am intending to keep compatibility with this version while offering new OS 3.x functionality. When I set the base SDK to iPhone OS 3.1.3 and Target OS for 2.0, Xcode gives me this error during compilation. 'stdint.h' file not found /Developer/usr/lib/clang/1.0.1/include/stdint.h:32:16: fatal error: 'stdint.h' file not found The strange thing is that the file is there, on the path it says it is not. if I set the target OS for 3.x the problem vanishes. how to solver that? thanks for any help.

    Hi, I'm planning a laboratorial experiment to assess behavior of groups when programming using some tools under study. For that, I'll need to capture their entire screen to disk. Mostly, what will be displayed is code, so I'm not to worried with image quality. However, it's paramount that the team is not able to stop the recording by accident, and the tool should be rebust enough to hold at least 3h of video. If possible, it would be nice for researchers in other rooms to "watch" the video as it is recording. Actually, this last requirement reminded me that I could use a VNC recording software, and install a VNC client in each laboratory computer. Anyway, what is your experience with this?     I'm developing a server application and I recently encountered this wierd error on a testing server (Debian Squeeze). Every executable I pass to popen fails with a msg: sh: sort: not found // happens to any command This happens regardless whether I point to the full path returned by "type" or keep it short . As mentioned earlier, this happens at only one testing environment, to add confusion, am running the same OS and had no problem whatsoever. Popen is apparently using sh to execute commands, but if I run the same command thru the prompt (bash or sh), everything's fine Thanks in advance (PS: even tried Python os.popen just to nail this head scratcher, and it works!)   • Acer aspire 5735z wireless not working after upgrade to 11.10

    I cant get my wifi card to work at all after upgrading to 11.10 Oneiric. I'm not sure where to start to fix this. Ive tried using the additional drivers tool but this shows that no additional drivers are needed. Before my upgrade I had a drivers working for the Rt2860 chipset.   • reactor not working when reactor.run is not called in the main thread and installSignalHandlers=Fals

    I'm trying to answer the following question out of personal interest: What is the fastest way to send 100,000 HTTP requests in Python? And this is what I have came up so far, but I'm experiencing something very stange. When installSignalHandlers is True, it just hangs. I can see that the DelayedCall instances are in reactor._newTimedCalls, but processResponse never gets called.
