    i have a string like this something = "something, something1, "something2, something else", something3" i need it to be read into a table like this: field1 = "something" field2= "something2" field3 = "something2, something else" field4 = "something3" please notice that the double quotes in the something string signified that the string inside the quotes is to be placed in one field anyone know how to do this with an insert into statement or some other way? the answer can be purely sql or can be vba with sql. thanks!

    Hello, I have a strange problem which I can't fix: A field: private boolean[][][] gaps; Constructor (1st line): gaps = new boolean[NOBARRICADES][WIDTH][HEIGHT]; Constructor (2nd line): for (int i = 0; i < NOBARRICADES; i++) { JAVA throws an error for the 2nd line, saying: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException Does it have anything to do with JAVA syntax (the mistake is in these lines of code) or I should look for the problem somewhere else?

    I mean, won;t it be more specific and appropriate if i "only" keep "protected","internal" and "private" members (field,method,property,event) in a class which is declared as "internal" ? I have seen this practice ( having "public" members in an "internal" class) in various code so just wanted to know is it a bad practice or does it has some benefit or advantage.     Is it possible to define a current user? I found a stored procedure 'sp_mgGetConnectedUsers'. It returns a result set with the only unique field 'Address'. How could I associate an executing query with such 'Address'. Please advice. Note: As far as I understand, another way to get the current user is to set a unique application Id for each connection, but I don't like this way much.

Here comes the question : How to copy the "native/" directory (and its sub-directories) in first module to WEB-INF/native directory in the second module ? We have a very trivial system right now that has huge amount of false positives and the real positives can easily get buried in them.     Using the autocomplete field for a cck nodereference always displays the node id as a cryptic bracketed extension: Page Title [nid:23] I understand that this ensures that selections are unique in case nodes have the same title, but obviously this is a nasty thing to expose to the user. Has anyone had any success in removing these brackets, or adding a different unique identifier?

It will if I remove the WHERE statement but I need the WHERE to only select the krits where the field approved = 1

    Hi all, I got a simple input text field in a HTML form: <input type="text" name="data[User][pswd]" id="data[User][pswd]"> The scripts for the Controller's action that captured the data is as follows: function register(){ $temp = $this->data; if(strlen($temp['User']['pswd'])>6) { if ($this->User->save($this->data)) { $this->Session->setFlash('Data was Saved'); } } } // this script works And in the Model controller, I got these lines of codes: function beforeSave() { $raw = $this->data; if(strlen($raw['User']['pswd'])>6){ md5($raw['User']['pswd']); } return true; } // this script failed to work The data was stored into the Database successfully but it was not undergone any MD5 encryption. I think that there must be some errors in the Model's script because I saw some errors flashed after the data was saved, but the screen that showed the errors immediately refreshed in a second after the data was saved successfully and I couldn't see the detail of the errors that caused the problem. Could you help me out please?

    I am moving some functions to a shared DLL (I want to have some called as a Windows hook). The actual functions are currently in a unit, and it happens to have some initialization and some finalization code. I was initially thinking on doing a direct transformation from a unit to a library. So I moved the initialization code in between the main begin and end.. But then I realized I had no place to move the finalization code. I should create and register an special DLL entry point, instead. My question is. Can I leave the unit with all the functions and the initialization and finalization codes and just create a library stub that uses the unit? will the finalizationit be called?

    Hi, I have a function that generates a MD5 hash in C# like this: MD5 md5 = new MD5CryptoServiceProvider(); byte[] result = md5.ComputeHash(data); StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(); for (int i = 0; i < result.Length; i++) { sb.Append(result[i].ToString("X2")); } return sb.ToString(); In java my function looks like this: MessageDigest m = MessageDigest.getInstance("MD5"); m.update(bytes,0,bytes.length); String hashcode = new BigInteger(1,m.digest()).toString(16); return hashcode; While the C# code generates: "02945C9171FBFEF0296D22B0607D522D" the java codes generates: "5a700e63fa29a8eae77ebe0443d59239". Is there a way to generate the same md5 hash for the same bytearray? Cheers
