  • Changing the cursor in WPF sometimes works, sometimes doesn't

    On several of my usercontrols, I change the cursor by using this.Cursor = Cursors.Wait; when I click on something. Now I want to do the same thing on a WPF page on a button click. When I hover over my button, the cursor changes to a hand, but when I click it, it doesn't change to the wait cursor. I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that it's a button, or because this is a page and not a usercontrol? This seems like weird behavior.

    Hi, at this page new customer, there is something that it doesn't like, my boss asked me to make a show function that shows the new customer registration when the user clicks on the "ny kunde" button.   • AIR app still running when the iphone is blocked?

    I just made a simple game with flash professional 6.0 and adobe AIR sdk 3.4 for iPhone. The problem is this: when I lock the iphone pressing the power button, the screen switches off as usual, but the music of the game still sounds. If I exit the game pressing the home button it exits fine. Is only when locking the phone with the app opened. Also, I opted-out of multitasking for my app, so if I close my app with the home button and I reload it, it loads the main menu. Anyone knows how can I solve this?

  • Application crashes when popViewControllerAnimated is called while scrolling

    In one screen I have a custom toolbar with a "close" button in it, and a UIScrollView. In the screen that preceded this one I had pushed the current screen into the navigation stack. I had also disabled the navigation toolbar for a larger display area and so the close button would instead be used to call: - (void)doClose { [self.navigationController popViewControllerAnimated:YES]; } Now here's the problem: the application crashes when the close button is pressed, while the UIScrollView is moving. Here's the debugger stack trace: 0 __forwarding__ 1 __forwarding_prep_0___ 2 -[UIToolbarButton setHighlighted:] 3 -[UIControl(Static) _unhighlight] 4 __NSFireDelayedPerform ... and I do have the following line in the debugger console: *** -[CALayer setOpacity:]: message sent to deallocated instance 0x718d250 (sometimes setOpacity would be setNeedsDisplay or something related) There won't be any crashes while the scrollview is at rest. What is happening?

My Event List is a list of panels so I want to pass parameters and generate dynamically n number of panels (n-parameter to pass). I have the main app where I have toggle button bar when I click on the first I want for example to generate 3 panels (n=3) on the second button 20 panels (n=20) etc. How can I do this? How can I pass n and what is the best way to show the list? I whant to generate the list when I click on the toggle button!

    What's the best way to add a caption below an image? The image and its caption will be floated right, and the text on the caption needs to wrap -- a 200x200px image shouldn't have a caption of width 800px. I would strongly prefer a solution that allows me to update images (with different widths) without changing the CSS or markup. For reasons beyond my control the image itself will also be floated right, but this should not be too problematic.

Here is xaml from my View and code from my ViewModel <Button Grid.Column="0" Content="Clear" IsEnabled="False" cmd:ButtonBaseExtensions.Command="{Binding ClearCommand}" /> public RelayCommand ClearCommand { get { return new RelayCommand(() => MessageBox.Show("Clear Command")); } } Notice I hardcoded the IsEnabled="False" in my xaml. This value is completely ignored (button always enabled). I realize that RelayCommand have a CanExecute overload but I did want to use this as I want to do more than just have a disabled button.

    Hello Everyone, So I have my upload script working just fine, but now it's a matter of making it look the way I want for my layout. <input type="file" name="userfile" id="userfile"/> This obviously shows a textbox with a Choose File button. What I really need is my own custom button (which will ultimately be an image) that upon successful file select (not upload quite yet) triggers a jQuery event to show a div. I do NOT want the filename textbox to show. Basic steps outlined below.   • PHP or C++? I just want to choose a language and focus on it!

    I love C++, but I feel I don't know if I should focus on web, so PHP, or C++. It's just an hard choice because right now I want to focus on one language and don't want to switch it a few months later. With C++ I'd program in SDL, while with PHP I don't know yet. I am not a very advanced programmer but I know basics of programming and can get going very well if determined. The problem is I just don't know.. I'm like OK! I'll go for C++! Then a minute later, wait what if I went with C#? Why this that.. ! I've read milion threads about C vs VB C# Python Ruby etc, all of them which I could find! It got me nowhere. The problem is probably I need to know something from some experts I guess.. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels/felt like I do right now yeah? Uhm... I guess I might help you with some details so your answer may be easier to write! ( And also, if you want to say something else which is not related to PHP or C++, you can do that, I've just got to the conclusion that C++ and PHP are the ones that are worth it but yeah. C# I've discarded due to some stuff I read which says in future the projects I'd start now could just be useless and stuff like that.. ) Ok well : I'm 18 years old, and I program as hobby right now, but I do hope to go to a programming college in future. ( That would be in 2 years ). Hmm, I like programming games, and I'm mostly bothered by the fact "this language could be useless to what I need to do" ( I don't know how to explain this feeling! ) I don't know which other details I could add...     Hi, I am unable to understand and fix the following behavior displayed by the Package Installer : in my application when I press on a "update application" button I download from a web server un update apk (in case there is) and start the Package Installer afterwards to install the package. Everything goes well and after the installation finishes there is displayed a view with two buttons "open" and "done" . However pressing the "open" button fails to open the installed update as it should even if the intent to the startup activity is sent as I observed in logcat . Pressing on menu button and going through the applications installed I am able to find the updated app and start it from here . What should I do to start the update by pressing open in the final Package Installed view ?

  • BizTalk Orchestration & Port Tutorial Part 2

    In Part 1 I showed how to create and publish a simple Orchestration demo. Now we’ll finish configuring it in the admin console and test it. Open the BizTalk Server 2009 Administration Console, and expand BizTalk Server 2009 Administration, then Applications. You should have an entry for OrchestrationPortDemo – expand it as well. First, we’ll add the Receive Port – the place that we’ll drop the test file. Right-click on Receive Ports and select New One-way Receive Port. On the General tab, name it InputPort, then click over to Receive Locations.   Click New to add a new location. Your receive location can be FTP, SQL, WCF, SharePoint, or many other choices, but for this demo we’ll add a File location. Click the Configure button and set a receive folder (something like “C:\PortDemo\”) and a file mask (stick with “*.xml” for now) and click OK three times to create your Receive Port.   Next we’ll create the Send port – the location where BizTalk will drop the file. Right-click on Send Ports and choose New Static One-way Send Port. Give it an appropriate name, and configure the FILE Transport Properties as shown:   Click OK twice and your Send Port will be created. Now we’ll configure the Orchestration Bindings. Click on Orchestrations, then right-click the orchestration itself and select Properties. Select the Bindings tab. Choose BizTalkServerApplication as the host, and select the Send and Receive ports you previously created, as shown:   Now it’s time to fire everything up. Right-click on the send port you created and click Start. Once the Status column displays “Started”, click on Receive Locations and Enable the Receive Location previously created. Finally, start the Orchestration. Now, time to test! Create a simple xml file like: <root>    <Node1>Test</Node1>    <Node2>Test</Node2> </root> And drop it into the C:\PortDemo folder. After a couple of seconds the file should disappear – this indicates BizTalk has picked it up for processing. Look in the C:\PortDemo\Output folder and you should see an xml file with a GUID for a name, like {7C50104F-FC3E-4A49-B2FA-4F560A37636D}.xml. Open it to verify that it matches your input file. Practically, this demo doesn’t do a whole heck of a lot, but it shows you the basics for building, publishing and running an orchestration.

    Hi, I am very new to Visual C++ programming, but I have to write simple program which needs to do two things: ( I am using MS Visual C++ ) main ( parent ) form should be displayed when program starts, and after clicking a button on it, second form should be shown. Second form ( child ) also has a button, but this one should ( after clicking, of course ) show current X,Y child form position but on ( important ): parent form. And this is where i got stuck. I can display child form with: a) adding #include "child.h" in parent form.h b) adding child ^child_form; in public: section and afterwards using: child_form = gcnew child(); child_form-Show(); I was googling for two days now and cannot find a way to get it the other way: click on a button on child_form and display it's coordinates on parent form on label-text :/ when i tried to add #include "child.h" in child_form I just got error saying: "there are to many include files..." I really need to get this done and I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance :)

    Hi, how do I insert a listener to Firefox http requests and responses, so that I popup a window with the address requested and the response body? Note: I have to do this building an extension to Firefox. I need a button to activate or disable the feature. For every request, I need to popup a window with an "Ok" button to allow the request to be made. Likewise, I need to popup a window with the response body from the web server, with an "Ok" button to allow the content to be displayed by the browser.     In Access 2007 I have created a form with a textbox and a button. At the moment, when I press the button, I load a query with the textbox data passed as a parameter to the query criteria.   • Specific position for tooltip

    Hello, I have a layer which opens up as a tooltip everytime I hover a button. I simply did that by creating a JS function which displays or hides the layer. Now, I am not a pro in JavaScript. My problem is the following: when the button is scrolled towards the top oft he screen I want the tooltip opening below – and if the button is near the bottom of the screen I want the tooltip opening above. Right now I just did it with absolute positioning. But obviously that doesnt do the trick. Who can help? Thanks!

    Well i'm running 2 different distro's of linux right now and I decided to make my ubuntu partition my primary partition larger so I took 119.53 GiB out of my other distro's partition and it became unallocated and then I figured Gparted would when I right click on it to resize/move give me the option of using it to make another partition bigger but it did not so I went google searching online and in one post I saw it said you had to format the unallocated space so I formatted it to ext4 the same as my primary partition but still no options to add it to any thing what do I do?

    In my application I have a button. If the button is clicked as select against a database is executed and the result is shown in a ListView. As the select is quite complex, it takes some time to retrieve the data. When I click the Button, the Application-Window should be disabled until the data is loaded. But when I set the IsEnabled-Property of the Window to false, the Window gets disabled after the data is loaded. I tried to disable the Window in an other thread with a BackgroundWorker. But then I get an exception that the Window is alreay in use by an other thread. How can I disable the Window bevore it retrieves the data?

    Hi, I'm trying to create css buttons by using the following html markup: <a href="access.php" class="css_button_red">Forgot password</a> But it ends up being not bigger than the text in the middle. Even though I've set the class's height and width. You can preview the problem here btw, www.matkalenderen.no Notice the first button, that's a form button and it's using it's own class. At first I tried to use the same class on the css button as well and the same problem appeared, so I tried to separate them into their own classes. In case there was some kind of crash. But it didn't matter anyway. What am I missing here?
