    I published a C# .net application to the wrong folder. I am using VS 2005. How do I unpublish the app to be able to republish in the correct folder. I tried simply publishing to another folder and now the app will not run from either location.

    I have a asp.net table inside a scrollable div. I have created a matrix table in which the leftmost table cell acts as a fixed column by using css Position:relative. Now i have a ModalPopupExtender Over that table. When I am trying to open that on the left most cell(the cell which is relative) by clicking on it, the left cell disappears. How can I click the cell keeping it relative? I sincerely appreciate the Help - Manoj

My approach is this: On Home.aspx.cs: Menu menu = (Menu)Master.FindControl("Menu1"); if (menu.Items.Count > 0) { menu.FindItem("Home").Selected = true; } Trouble is, menu.item.count == 0.     I have downloaded both samples for the Facebook Developer Kit from Codeplex and Facebook.NET followed both tutorials down to the word - But as soon as I browse to me app on Facebook I am getting the following error for BOTH versions? API Error Code: 100 API Error Description: Invalid parameter Error Message: Requires valid next URL. Anyone else had this problem? I'm struggling to find an answer to what the error actually means? Especially as the starts kits are supposed to work out the box?

  • Why an ASP.NET web site gets recompiled when renaming or deleting a folder inside

    Hi everybody, I develop a simple file manager inside an ASP.NET Web site (not web application). I notice that every time I rename or delete a folder, the site gets recompiled - i.e. the very next web request after delete or rename operation takes considerably much time to execute. It's only true for folders, not for files. Why does this occur? P.S. I use WebDev server (Cassini), haven't tested in on IIS yet.

    At face value, it would seem that object initializers present a problem for .net 4.0 "code contracts", where normally the invariant should be established by the time the object constructor is finished. Presumably, however, object-initializers require properties to be set after construction is complete. My question is if the invariants of "code contracts" are able to handle object initializers, "as if" the properties were set before the constructor completes? That would be very nice indeed!!

    Is it possible to restart server from ASP.NET application that is hosted by LocalSystem or LocalService account. This is working when I create custom administrative account and put AppPool to run under that account: Process.Start("shutdown", "/r /d 4:1 /t 10"); However, I don't want to have custom accounts (because of password expiry and need to update all AppPools when User passwords are changed). So, is this possible?
