On click of button; it redirects to the path I mentioned in form action. With Tamper data I find that the request goes to URL ( as in method ) with GET and then it re-directs to form's action URL. I added return false in the method call also.-- javascript:doCloseWindow();return false" I tired various combination like window.location.href = "https://abc.xyz.com/mydir/?param=123"; window.document.location.href = "https://abc.xyz.com/mydir/?param=123"; document.location.href = "https://abc.xyz.com/mydir/?param=123"; But no success.

    In my application, I am using Ext.Ajax.request to load scripts which I execute with eval. The problem is that since it takes time for the AJAX request to complete, code that is executed afterward which needs variables which are in the script loaded in via AJAX. In this example, I show how this is the case.     Hi all, I'm not sure if this is possible (complete non-flash developer speaking), but we have a 3rd party component that we want to only show a certain topleft hand portion of. I've tried limiting the size of the HTML object container as: <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="600" height="415" data="<url>"> <param name="movie" value="<url>" /> <param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> <param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /> <param name="flashvars" value="<vars>" /> </object> So limiting it to 600x415, but this causes horizontal and vertical scrollbars as part of the flash component to appear. Is there any standard way to override this behaviour? Thanks.

This would mean multiple Like buttons on the page, one per activity. Can this be done? Can the Like button's url include #!state1 ? Eg, a web page is located at www.example.com/index.html It has multiple FB Like buttons on it, one for url www.example.com/index.html#!activity1 another for www.example.com/index.html#!activity2 Will the two Like buttons work independently?

  • Asp.net Google Charts SSL handler for GeoMap

    Hi All, I am trying to view Google charts in a site using SSL. Google Charts do not support SSL so if we use the standard charts, we get warning messages. My plan is to create a ASHX handler that is co9ntained in the secure site that will retrieve the content from Google and serve this to the page the user is viewing. Using VS 2008 SP1 and the included web server, my idea works perfectly for both Firefox and IE 8 & 9(Preview) and I am able to see my geomap displayed on my page as it should be. But my problem is when I publish to IIS7 the page using my handler to generate the geomap works in Firefox but not IE(every version). There are no errors anywhere or in any log files, but when i right click in IE in the area where the map should be displayed, I see the message in the context menu saying "movie not loaded" Below is the code from my handler and the aspx page. I have disabled compression in my web.config. Even in IE I am hitting all my break points and when I use the IE9 Developer tools, the web page is correctly generated with all the correct code, url's and references. If you have any better ways to accomplish this or how i can fix my problem, I will appreciate it.   • C# .NET MVC Call an action from another controller

    I have two different objects: contracts, and task orders. My requirements specify that in order to view the Details for either object, the Url should be "http://.../Contract/Details" or "http://.../TaskOrder/Details" depending on which type. They are both very similar and the details pages are almost identical, so I made a class that can either be a contract or a task order, and has a variable "objectTypeID" that says which type it is. I wrote the action "Details" in the task order controller, but now I want to call that from the contract controller instead of recopying the code. So is there any way to have the url still say ".../Contract/Details" but call the action in the TaskOrder controller instead? I tried using TaskOrderController TOController = new TaskOrderController(); TOController.Details(id); This would have worked except that I can't use the HttpContext.Session anymore, which I used several times in the action.

    I have the following routes defined for my application: routes.MapRoute( "Referral", // Route name "{referralCode}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Home", action = "Index" } // Parameter defaults ); routes.MapRoute( "Default", // Route name "{controller}/{action}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Home", action = "Index" } // Parameter defaults ); And I'm trying to create an ActionLink to go on the Index action on my AdminController: @Html.ActionLink("admin", "Index", "Admin") However, when the view is executed the ActionLink renders as (Index action value is omitted): <a href="/Admin">admin</a> Normally this would be ok, but it's causing a collision with the "Referral" route. NOTE: If I instead use ActionLink to render a different action like "Default," the ActionLink renders correctly: <a href="/Admin/Default">admin</a> The fact that the "Default" action renders correctly leads me to believe the problem has to do with the default value specified for the route. Is there anyway to force ActionLink to render the "Index" action as well?

I can load an HTML file from the web, but when I try it locally, it just displays the contents of the file instead of running the script. The above route will match the following though: domain.com/layout/1-slug or domain.com/layout/1-slug_permalink Seems like the hyphen that separates the ID from the Slug is causing issues.

A little info: There will be about 100 "posts", each on its own page I want users to click through each post, so start at post 1 and click "next post" to get to post 2 I want it to say post 4/100 at the top for each post I want the URL to have the post name in it I was going to use WP-PageNavi and set each page to display 1 post, however I need the url to show /post-name/ and not /page/2/ I know I can count total number of posts pretty easily, any idea how I can assign a number to each post without having to do it manually?
