  • [Qt] How to get rid of OCI.dll dependency when compiling static

    Hi, My application accesses an Oracle database through Qt's QSqlDatabase class. I'm compiling Qt as static for the release build, but I can't seem to be able to get rid of OCI.dll dependency. I'm trying to link against oci.lib (as available in Oracle's Instant Client with SDK). Here's my configure line : configure -qt-libjpeg -qt-zlib -qt-libpng -nomake examples -nomake demos -no-exceptions -no-stl -no-rtti -no-qt3support -no-scripttools -no-openssl -no-opengl -no-phonon -no-style-motif -no-style-cde -no-style-cleanlooks -no-style-plastique -static -release -opensource -plugin-sql-oci -plugin-sql-sqlite -platform win32-msvc2005 I link against oci.h and oci.lib in the SDK's folder by using : set INCLUDE=C:\oracle\instantclient\sdk\include;%INCLUDE% set LIB=C:\oracle\instantclient\sdk\lib\msvc;%LIB% Then, once Qt is compiled, I use the following lines in my *.pro file : QT += sql CONFIG += static LIBS += C:\oracle\instantclient\sdk\lib\msvc\oci.lib QTPLUGIN += qsqloci Then, in my main.cpp, I add the following commands to statically compile OCI plugin in the application : #include <QtPlugin> Q_IMPORT_PLUGIN(qsqloci) After compiling the project, I test it on my workstation and it works (as I have Oracle Instant Client installed). When I try on another workstation, I always get the message: This application has failed to start because OCI.dll was not found. Re-installing this application may fix this problem. I don't understand why I still need OCI.dll, as my statically linked application is supposed to link to oci.lib instead. Is there any Qt people here that might have a solution for me ? Thanks a lot !     I have added a custom button to the server ribbon in SharePoint (I have used a feature with Farm scope, so that the button is visible throughout the various site collections). However when I install the feature and click the button, I get an error saying "Cannot load CustomPage". I understand that I haven't deployed the assembly, but shouldn't the aspx page be compiled Just In Time?

  • Why does iOS 5 fail to connect to a server running JDK 1.6, but not JDK 1.5

    We have a Java Socket Server listening on an SSLSocket (port 443) and an iOS application that connects with it. When running on iOS 5.1, the application stopped working when we upgraded the Java version of the server from JDK 1.5 to 1.6 (or 1.7). The app connects just fine to JDK 5 and 6 when running on iOS 6. The iOS app is reporting an error: -9809 = errSSLCrypto. On the Java side, we get javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Received fatal alert: close_notify. On the Java server side, we have enabled all the available cipher suites. On the client side we have tested enabling several different suites, although we have yet to complete a test involving each one individually enabled. Right now, it is failing when we use TLS_DH_anon_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA although it has failed with others and we are starting to think it's not the suite. Here is the debug output.   • Selenium / FlashSelenium calling the wrong methods?

FlashSelenium is involved so I'm not sure where along the way lies the bug. Furthermore it's hard to reproduce as it doesn't happen only for some methods, and doesn't always happen. I've tried searching for issues similar to these but couldn't find any remotely similar... Anyone experienced the same behavior? And if so, is there a fix for it? Edit: I doubt FlashSelenium is at fault for this, as the log tells that the command arrives correctly at the server... But I can't seem to be able to follow the path of execution from the moment the Selenium server gets the command and passes over to the browser, to the moment where it gets the response.

I understand that this is happening because I'm not retaining the object but how can I solve this with the code in 'loadImage' shown above? Thanks
