    Hi there, I'm not sure if this is possible what I'm trying to achieve. I want to get the avg of averaged columns. SELECT avg(col1), avg(col2), avg(col3) FROM tbl My Result should be the avg of all three avg columns, is this possible? Something like this SELECT avg( col1, col2, col3) FROM tbl doesn't work at MySQL 5.1

  • Allow users to insert a TAB into a TextBox but not newlines

    I want to have a TextBox which does accept the TAB key (and places a TAB, ASCII 0x09, \t accordingly into the textbox) instead of jumping to the next control. The TextBox has a property AcceptsTab, which I have set to true but this does not give the desired result. It turns out the AcceptsTab property only works then Multiline is set to true as well. However I want to have a one-line TextBox which doesn't accept newlines.

  • Fixing VBSCRIPT inaccurate mathematical results due to rounding

    Try running this in a .VBS file MsgBox(545.14-544.94) You get a neat little answer of 0.199999999999932! This rounding issue also occurs unfortunately in Sin(2 * pi) since VB can only ever see the (user defined) variable pi as accurate as 3.14159265358979. Is rounding it manually (and loosing accuracy) the only way to improve the result? What is the most effective way of dealing with this kind of problem?

    I am trying to add entries to a Sugar Contacts database with the following SOAP code in PHP. $set_entry_params = array( 'session' => $result_array->id, 'module_name' => 'Contacts', 'name_value_list'=>array( array('name'=>'Name','value'=>'Brian') ) ); $result = $soapClient->__soapCall('set_entry', $set_entry_params); An entry is made in the sugar db, but the name field is left blank and the Role field is labelled: Pre Sugar Roll Out does anyone know what is wrong here?

    Hi, I'm using the Scanner class in java to go through a a text file and extract each sentence. I'm using the setDelimiter method on my Scanner to the regex: Pattern.compile("[\\w]*[\\.|?|!][\\s]") This currently seems to work, but it leaves the whitespace at the end of the sentence. Is there an easy way to match the whitespace at the end but not include it in the result? I realize this is probably an easy question but I've never used regex before so go easy :)

    In the following example In [8]: import numpy as np In [9]: strings = np.array(['hello ', 'world '], dtype='|S10') In [10]: strings == 'hello' Out[10]: array([False, False], dtype=bool) The comparison fails because of the whitespace. Is there a Numpy built-in function that does the equivalent of In [12]: np.array([x.strip()=='hello' for x in strings]) Out[12]: array([ True, False], dtype=bool) which does give the correct result?

    UPDATE: Ok, I didn't formulate a good Q to be answered. I still struggle with heroku being on -07:00 UTC and I at +02:200 UTC. Q: How do I get the log written in the correct Time.zone ? The 9 hours difference, heroku (us west) - norway, is distracting to work with. I get this in my production.log (using heroku logs): Processing ProductionController#create to xml (for 81.26.51.35 at 2010-04-28 23:00:12) [POST] How do I get it to write 2010-04-29 08:00:12 +02:00 GMT ? Note that I'm running at heroku and cannot set the server time myself, as one could do at your amazon EC2 servers.     How do you cache an aspx page call on the client? The aspx page returns an asset and looks like this: http://srv-edu-build/edumatic3/dev/RetrieveBlob.aspx?assetId=31809&assetFileId=9823 We have tried with Output Cache, with caching in the code behind, but the only result we get is server side caching (by IIS7). In the header of the response cache-control is set to public and expiration time is set (to 14800 as set in output cache profile).

I am not able to link what is displayed to what the inputs ans outputs are. For example in this case - seeing the snapshot, how do you determine that the inputs are 0 and 1 and the output is 01?

I see endless entries every couple seconds of: Operation: Create File C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\csharp C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\code C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\web and so on for the rest of the templates Then it says the result is PATH NOT FOUND.
