    Hey, I'm trying to create a Flex DataGrid where the firstname and lastname are shown under each other, but in the DataGridColumn Ideally I would want to do something like <mx:columns> <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="Column 2" dataField="time"/> <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="Column 2" dataField="firstname,lastname" itemRenderer="renderers.FirstNameLastName"/> so that both values get passed to the itemrenderer, is this possible?   • How can i interpret a time value in ascii into a numerical value?

    I have a file which is as follows: 15:03:21 II 0.88 0.64 15:03:31 II 0.88 0.64 15:03:42 II 0.40 0.40 etc. after loading the file in matlab, I want to be able to read the first column (which corresponds to time) and interpret them as numerical values. At the moment, they are interpreted as a string of ascii characters and i can't perform any mathematical operations on them. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can read the time as numbers instead of a string of ascii characters?

    Hi all, I have a string, for example; "llama,goat,cow" and I just need to put a '@' in front of each word so my string will look like "@llama,@goat,@cow", but I need the values to be dynamic also, and always with a '@' at the beginning. Not knowing a great deal of C++ could someone please help me find the easiest solution to this problem? Many thanks in advance.

  • Move 3 rectangles up in their X but keep order of rectangles

    I have 3 rectangles being rendered here. Let's say i wanted to move them all above the line yet keep their order, how would i go about that? I tried subtracting the Y and height rather than adding the Y it but as expected, the lower rectangle goes at the top, middle stays in the middle and top goes to the bottom before: after: So is there any simple solution to render them just above rather than having to change all values ?

    I am attempting to to use python to gain some performance on a task that can be highly parallelized using http://docs.python.org/library/multiprocessing. When looking at their library they say to use chunk size for very long iterables. Now, my iterable is not long, one of the dicts that it contains is huge: ~100000 entries, with tuples as keys and numpy arrays for values. How would I set the chunksize to handle this and how can I transfer this data quickly? Thank you.

When trying to update a record, the update does happen but then throws an error saying "'id' parameter is missing at the statement".     What I've got working and it's what I need to improve on: INSERT form_data (id,data_id, email) SELECT fk_form_joiner_id AS data_id, value AS email FROM wp_contactform_submit_data WHERE form_key='your-email' This just gets the emails, now this is great, but not enough as I have a good few different values of form_key that I need to import into different columns, I'm aware that I can do it via php using foreach loops and updates, but this needs to be done purely in mysql. So how do I do something like: insert form_data(id,data,email,name,surname,etc) Select [..],Select [..].... Please help
