  Hello, What i need to do: I'm trying to realize social networking graph for companies, employees in CRM. They could have many complex relationships. A company can have its network like inverstors, partners, competitors and customers etc. I want to realize a dynamic social networking graph for it. And it has to be implemented by php. Right now, i know SugarCRM and vTigerCRM are php open source CRMs. And SugarCRM provides some social functions. And there are a lot of other CRMs, while i'm not sure if they are realized by php, such as: ACT!, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Siebel Social CRM, Salesforce, BatchBlue, Buzzient etc. Do you know any other php CRMs, especially php social CRMs? • Python/Tkinter Audio Player

  Hey everyone reading this, I've recently got into doing GUI development with Python. Tkinter seems like the easiest and most logical choice starting out. I did a little with wxPython but it was more sophisticated than what I needed. Anyway, I'm developing a media player. Right now it's a simple window with a button to load .wav files. The problem is I would like to implement a pause button now. But, when playing a audio file the GUI isn't accessible again (no buttons can be pushed) till the file is done playing. How can I make the GUI dynamic while an audio file is playing? I was thinking this maybe be because I'm using PyAudio, and their implementation doesn't allow this. Anyway, thanks for any advice before hand.

  I'm thinking about using semantic (web) technogies like RDF and OWL in an application on mobile devices. Currently I'm targeting android, but I'd also be interested in the possibilities on the iPhone and on J2ME. I would like to use a lib instead of implementing everything from scratch. I know that there are some libraries and frameworks like Jena, Redland, Protégé but they don't state on which platforms they are known to work. Having a dynamic object model and parsing from and to XML are must-haves for me. I'd also like to use reasoning, but I've been told it was rather computing-intensive, so that's only a nice-to-have. For all platforms mentioned, the question can be interpreted as Is it possible in theory (especially for J2ME I'm not sure) Are there libs that are known to work on those platforms? Is the performance on a mobile platform good enough for real world usage?

(for parameters) on all the dates, it throws an error. "Invalid Parameter Number" :D How can i make this work, within excel? Im using SQL Server and Microsoft Query Connection Data.

• How to deny payment via PayPal IPN?

  Hello all, I need to create dynamic 'Pay Now' buttons on my site, and PayPal says the way to do this is via an HTML FORM with preset variables for the price, currency, and item of the purchase. I use PayPal IPN to notify me when a payment has complete. However, what's to stop someone from modifying the query parameters of the Pay Now button to change the price? Some people have told me to redirect the button through a PHP file that sends you to a PayPal payment page with the parameters in place, but the price could just as easily be manipulated in the Web browser's address bar. My question is, how can I deny a payment if the information I receive from PayPal's IPN service is invalid (if the price doesn't match our records)? I'm quite confused and couldn't find any documentation on what I'm looking for. Hopefully, you guys can help. Thanks!

• How do I easily change hardcoded links to a file in Excel?

  I have a project where I maintain a list of all my students and their information in an Excel file labeled "BigList.xlsx". Then, I have about 40-50 other separate ancillary excel files that link to BigList by using vLookup. For example, in cell A1 of an ancillary file you might see a formula that looks like this: =Vlookup(B3, 'c:\documents and settings\user\desktop[BigList.xlsx]Sheet1'!$a$1:$b$10000,2,false). The vlookup link above references BigList.xlsx. However, I just realized that I need to change that file name to something else, like MasterDatabase.xlsm (notice the different extension). Is there an easy way to do this without having to manually go through all 40-50 files and doing a find & replace? I think the basic idea is to change a hardcoded link into a dynamic one where I can change the filename of BigList.xlsx anytime, and not have to go back through all 40-50 files to update their links.

• Online Image Slideshow Question. File Access Problems.

  Hi, I have a flash .swf file that I embed on my webpage. On my server I have the .swf file and multiple image folders. I would like to load every file in one of those folders into the flash slideshow. How should I go about doing this? I tried used Air but it doesn't work on my system as an application so I doubt it will work online. Eventually I plan on making a menu where you can select different folders to display and since they are of different sizes, a foreach loop would be optimal. Keeping a txt file with the number of images is also possible if theres a way to read that in, but I would prefer the more dynamic approach. I am working towards using php for the website if that helps find a solution. Thanks, -Mike Also my slideshow works great online currently but i have to hardcode in the number of files.

  After creating a div on the fly with this markup: $('.circuit').prepend("<div class='component' draggable='true'>TRANSISTOR</div>"); It is NOT draggable itself :( Is jQuery prepend() the correct way to create "live" tags in the DOM? Do I need to somehow bless it a different way to make draggable=true really work? How to I wire it up so that on-the-fly divs can be draggable? AFTER NOTE: I added a static div and that is draggable. INTERESTING: I view both the static and dynamic using FireFox F12 Firebug and they are identical. But one is draggable and one is not!!!

When the file is copied, verify the MD5Hash file of the copied one with the original one. I have big pdf files. apply md5 hash about big file, any performance problem ??   I've been using C on some projects for a master's degree but have never built production software with it. (.NET & Javascript are my bread and butter.) Obviously, the need to free() memory that you malloc() is critical in C. This is fine, well and good if you can do both in one routine. But as programs grow, and structs deepen, keeping track of what's been malloc'd where and what's appropriate to free gets harder and harder. I've looked around on the interwebs and only found a few generic recommendations for this. What I suspect is that some of you long-time C coders have come up with your own patterns and practices to simplify this process and keep the evil in front of you. So: how do you recommend structuring your C programs to keep dynamic allocations from becoming memory leaks?

• Should one use PHP to print all of a page's HTML?

  Hi So I've always developed PHP pages like this: <?php goes at the top, ?> goes at the bottom, and all the HTML gets either print()ed or echo()ed out. Is that slower than having non-dynamic html outputted outside of <?php ?> tags? I can't seem to find any info about this. Thanks! --Mala UPDATE: the consesus seems to be on doing it my old way being hard to read. This is not the case if you break your strings up line by line as in: print("\n". "first line goes here\n". "second line goes here\n". "third line"); etc. It actually makes it a lot easier to read than having html outside of php structures, as this way everything is properly indented. That being said, it involves a lot of string concatenation.

  Hi guys, I'm working on a Flash frontend for a Magento powered store. This frontend will be an alternative to the HTML shop so it will sit in a subdirectory and use the same Magento installation as the main HTML site. The Flash application will get the data from dynamic XML files. It needs to get almost everything as the HTML site (categories, products, cart, etc). I want this to be a Magento module that can be installed on an already existing Magento installation. I would like to use the Block classes available in Magneto's core code as they already provide a lot of the functionality needed. What steps would you take in order to achieve this? Do you know any examples or articles related to this? Thanks!

• Is there a lightweight multipart/form-data parser in C or C++?

  I'm looking at integrating multipart form-data parsing in a web server module so that I can relieve backend web applications (often written in dynamic languages) from parsing the multipart data themselves. The multipart grammar (RFC 2046) looks non-trivial and if I implement it by hand a lot of things can go wrong. Is there already a good, lightweight multipart/form-data parser written in C or C++? I'm looking for one with no external dependencies other than the C or C++ standard library. I don't need email attachment handling or buffered I/O classes or a portability runtime or whatever, just multipart/form-data parsing. Things that I've considered: GMime - depends on glib, so no go. libapreq - too large, depends on APR, badly documented, no unit tests. I've also looked at writing a parser with Ragel, but I can't figure out how to do it because the grammar is not static: the boundary can change arbitrarily.

• browser back acts on nested iframe before the page itself - is there a way to avoid it??

  hi, i have a page with dynamic data loaded by some ajax and lots of javascript. the page contains a list from which the user can choose and each selected value loads new data to the page. one of these data items is a url provided to an iframe. i use jQuery BBQ: Back Button & Query Library to simulate the browser-back behavior. all works well besides the fact that when i click the back button for the first time the iframe goes back to its previous location and then i need to click back again to make the page go back. is there a way to disable the iframe's back behavior?

• How do I prevent a font from extending off the top of a textbox?

  I'm using a barcode font (IDAutomationMC39H) in an SSRS 2005 report I'm developing, and while it renders fine in the preview in BIDS, if I export the results to PDF, print the results, or do any of the above (including preview) in Report Manager, the barcode font is extending off the top of the textbox. The barcode itself is nearly 20px tall, even at only a 12pt size. I've tried changing the CanGrow value for the textbox, but it seems that even with that set off the barcode isn't pushing the bottom edge of the textbox downwards, it's simply extending over the top of the box. I've also tried resizing the textbox to allow it to contain the entire height of the font, but even with the VerticalAlign set to Bottom the barcode still sticks to the top of the textbox and overflows out the top.   My primary IDE is Visual Studio 2005 and I have a large C/C++ project. I'm interested in what thread analysis tools are recommended. By that I mean, I want a tool, static or dynamic, to help find race conditions, deadlocks, and the like. So far I've casually researched the following: 1. Intel Thread Checker: I don't believe that it ties into VS 2005? 2. Valgrind/Helgrind: free. 3. Coverity: this is a costly tool if i understand correctly. Anyone have experience with any of these or other? I'd much appreciate any advice. Thank you.

• HTML: How to get a child element to show behidn (lower z-index) than its parent

  I need for a certain dynamic element to always appear on top of another element, no matter what order in the DOM tree they are. Is this possible? I've tried z-index (with position: relative), and it doesn't seem to work. I hate to be vague, but this is the simplest way I can think of asking this question without explaining its purpose ad nauseum. So, to recap, I need <div class="a"> <div class="b"></div> </div> <div class="b"> <div class="a"></div> </div> To display exactly the same when rendered. And for flexibility purposes (I'm planning on distributing a plugin that needs this functionality), I'd really like to not have to resort to absolute or fixed positioning.

• IIS7 301 Redirect from a List of URLs

  Recent changes are forcing me to add a bunch of 301 redirects. Seems that IIS7 is my best bet as compared to redirects within the files. I have found how to add them 1 by 1 but this requires the page/folder to exist (which most don't anymore(and creating them seems to defeat the point of the redirect)) and does not work on dynamic urls. I also cannot go to every page and add the redirects at the page level because some older pages are in php which is no longer supported on the new server.
