  Hi all I have two tables and want to make a query. I tried to get team AA and team BB's image base on table A. I used: SELECT tableA.team1, tableA.team2, tableB.team, tableB.image, FROM tableA LEFT JOIN tableB ON tableA.team1=tableB.team The result only display imageA on the column. Are there any ways to select imageA and image B without using the second query? I appreciate any helps! Thanks a lot!   Hi, I would like to go through a table and look for a word, if that word appears, i would like to click on a radio button in the same row, but not the same column, then stop the loop. • What techniques are available for filtering collections of objects when using zodb?

  As the title says: What techniques are available for filtering objects when using zodb? The equivalent in SQL terms would be something like filtering results by a date range. Or only returning rows with a particular value set in a column. If I had a series of blog posts and only wanted ones done in the past month, what would I have to do? Is there any way to optimize these kinds of "queries"? My gut tells me iterating over all the objects in a relationship simply to perform a test is less than optimal.

  Not quite sure how descriptive that title was but this is what I want to do. I scripted a URL shortener today and it's working fine, I just want to add some stats on the bottom of it saying how many links there are and how many clicks there are. Now everytime a user clicks one of the links it +1 the column in the database then it redirects the user. I want to query that and add all of those numbers together from each row. I attempted a while loop which im not surprised didn't work: while($rows = mysql_fetch_assoc($check_count)){ $clicks = $rows['clicks']; $clicks = $clicks+$clicks; } If you don't understand please ask and if you do understand it means alot for any response!

  I want to do a simple PL/SQL program on the Oracle 10g internet environment. The program is: DECLARE stud_rec students%ROWTYPE; last_name VARCHAR2:='Clinton'; BEGIN SELECT * INTO stud_rec FROM students WHERE student_id=100; END; I have a table called students with data inside of it. The issue is that when I want to run this in the SQL command window I got this message: ORA-06550: line 3, column 11: PLS-00215: String length constraints must be in range (1 .. 32767) I have checked the syntax and I cannot find the error. • How to deploy a c# application while including third party DLL's?

  To start with, I don't know much of deployment. I hope my question makes sense. I need to install/deploy a c# application to a number of desktops. It needs a third-party DLL : a c++ library ("lpsolve55.dll", for those interested, it is a free MIP/LP solver, see lpsolve.sourceforge.net/5.5/). I use it in my code in the following way: [DllImport("lpsolve55.dll", SetLastError = true)] public static extern bool add_column(int lp, double[] column); For testing, I have manually copied the .dll file to to project\bin\release, it works fine. My question: I will need an installer for the application, which will manage that the .dll will install as well. I am considering clickonce deployment since I am using visual studio express (2008), but any not too expensive solution will do. What would you advice?

Right now they are all DataTables, which isn't very space efficient (the rule of thumb is 10x increase in size when data is strored in a dataset).   Hi, Hoping someone can assist or point me in the right direction to another thread/url with regards to disabled checkboxes. I basically have a couple of checkboxes in my form, that are not database items but am retrieving the source value based on a database column. As I do not want the user to be able to change these checboxes, I have disabled these checboxes When I query a record, the form at start-up retrieves the value for the checkbox with no issues. The problem is, when I hit a validation error on my form when the page is submitted, my checkbox values that were originally retrieved as 'Y', i.e checked are now null. Can anyone pls assist with what is going on or a workaround inorder to maintain these values when a validation error occurs. Thanks.

  I'm writing reports on SQL Server Reporting Server that have a number of hours grouped by, say, user, and a total calculated based on the sum of the values. Currently my query runs a stored proc that returns the hours as in HH:MM format, rather than decimal hours, as our users find that more intuitive. The problem occurs when I try and add up the column using an SSRS expression, because the SUM function isn't smart enough to handle adding up times in this format. Is there any way to: Display a time interval (in minutes or hours) in HH:MM format while having it calculated in decimal form? Or split up and calculate the total of the HH:MM text values to arrive at a total as an expression? I'd like to avoid having to write/run a second query just to get the total.

  A field in my table can have arbitrary strings. On the UI, there is a drop down having options like All, Value1, Value2 And the results were filtered by the selected option value. So far this is easy and adding new filters to the UI is not a problem. Needs no changes in my stored procedure. Now I want to have an "Others" option here as well, which will return rows not having the column value as Value1 or Value2. Apparently this will require a "not in" operator in my query, and will make maintenance difficult, as the list of values is likely to change Any suggestions, design tips?

  Hi, I'm wondering if there's some clever way in MySQL to return a "mixed/balanced" dataset according to a specific criterion? To illustrate, let's say that there are potential results in a table that can be of Type 1 or Type 2 (i.e. a column has a value 1 or 2 for each record). Is there a clever query that would be able to directly return results alternating between 1 and 2 in sequence: 1st record is of type 1, 2nd record is of type 2, 3rd record is of type 1, 4th record is of type 2, etc... Apologies if the question is silly, just looking for some options. Of course, I could return any data and do this in PHP, but it does add some code. Thanks.
