  I'd like to install FreeBSD 8.0 in a Hyper-V VM but I get a kernel panic whenever I try to boot the install ISO. I've tried both i386 and amd64; with and without APIC enabled; with and without processor features disabled in Hyper-V. Is it necessary to use the procedure in the Handbook for Xen domU? Does anyone has experience with this configuration?

It seems to have lots of features that I don't need (including FTP) but I couldn't find any mention of the ability to telnet or SSH to it. If telneting or SSH-ing to it isn't possible, do you know whether it is possible to configure via its web interface a script that can periodically back it up via its USB port? • Forefront TMG 2010: Can you monitor realtime TCP connections and bandwidth on a per-user basis?

  I'm just starting a trial of ForeFront TMG to use as a proxy server. I know I can get a real time activity monitor and filter on a per user basis, but would like to be able to get a real time activity monitor of all users that I can then sort by bandwidth consumed (enabling me to get a view on who the bandwidth hogs are). Does anyone know if this is possible in Forefront TMG or if a third party product is required? Thanks. JR

  I am running Windows 7 at my office and Windows XP at home. I have seen the new Remote Desktop and want to use (I have three monitors at office and three at home) In the specs I saw where in order to use the multimon features you must connect to a Windows 7 client (I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit in my office) When I connect to it (from XP running RDP 7) I can't get all my monitors to come up, just one Is there something I am doing wrong?   Hi, I am using Word 2010 and some built-in features with fields, such as bibliography. My Word installation is English and I am writing a report in US English. However, my computer has its locale set to Denmark. This affects the formatting of dates and some of the text in the auto-generated fields (e.g. in bibliography it says "citeret:" instead of "cited:"). • Outlook uses > 700mb of RAM. How do I fix this?!

  I've been using outlook for years now, and I've never run into this problem before. Using Microsoft Outlook 2007, with only 1 email account, and no more than 100 emails in my inbox (though I have many many folders, with emails in them), Outlook can sit around and eventually get up to 700mb of ram usage. I've tried different types I've read, like compacting my folders, or not using Internet Calendars / RSS features, and right now I've even disabled Xobni...but still no effect. Any ideas?! Thanks!
