• Default.aspx issue with IIS 6.0 and .Net 4?

  We have deployed a .net 4 asp.net site on IIS 6.0. Default.aspx is configured as one of the default document. When we access the site using the following url http://testsite We expect it to render http://testsite/Default.aspx But instead we get 404 Not found error. We did not had this issue when it was deployed on .Net 2.0. Only thing that has changed on the server is that we use .Net 4 instead of .Net 2.

  hi guys, Suppose my website is www.example.com Earlier the urls of my website was like this www.example.com/php/bookdetails.php?bid=33 Last week i changed the urls of my site to this www.example.com/bookdetails/33 and wrote an htacces like this RewriteRule ^bookdetails/(.*)$ php/bookSearchResult.php?bid=$1 The problem is that there are some external site using my earlier URL structure (www.example.com/php/bookdetails.php?bid=33) and what i want is to redirect it to my new URL structure (www.example.com/bookdetails/33). I know it can be possible in htaccess, but i have no idea how to do it

  Hi there, Using Php I would like to extract the current Url of a page including all variables attached to it. $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] only return the url without the variable . any idea what function I need. example : www.site.com/?v1=xyz&v2=123 using $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] I get only : www.site.com as opposed to the whole url. using $_GET[] individually is not an opton since I am not sure what variable are attached to the URL. thank you

  Google have just thrown up thousands of errors for duplicate content on my link tracker I am using. I want to make it so Google & any other search engines do not visit my pages on the link tracker.   Should I use ISO 639-1 (2-letter abbreviation) or ISO 639-2 (3 letter abbrv) to store the user's language? Both are official standards, but which is the de facto standard in the development community?   Our logs show hundreds of these errors after our deployment if users are on the site. Anyone know what this means and how to fix it? Notes: We are using msdeploy, IIS 6 I recently noticed that our web server's time is about 10 minutes behind the real time, I think that may have something to do with it.
