• How do I deselect grid row when grouping in David Poll's silverlight CollectionPrinter

  I'm using David Poll's CollectionPrinter and modifications by Fama to perform grouping. I'm using the control to print a datagrid with grouping and it works well if not a little slow. Problem: When the grid is displayed the first row of the grid is selected and the first cell of the row is also selected. I want to either deselect the row or change the datagrid template to make selected rows/cells appear as not selected. I tried to specify a grid template to change the row/cell selection appearance but when I added the default template I got a COM error of all things - anyway I concluded that what I was doing was not compatible with the SLab libraries, or perhaps because the grid was specified in a datatemplate. In any case I abandoned that approach. Since I have the SLab source if I understood it more there may be a way to deselect the row after from that side of things - but I know the SLaB CommectionPrinter does not rely on the data template to be a grid, so I'm not sure how to modify the code to accomplish what I want. Question: How can I prevent the row from being selected or deselect it once it is or change the appearance of the selectd row when using the CollectionPrinter with grouping? Note that the row selection problem may occur without grouping as well, I don;t know, but it definatly does with grouping.

• CSS div/overflow Question: Why does the first HTML file work but not the second?

  Notice how the first HTML/CSS works when you re-size the browser horizontally. It will shrink no further than around 800 pixels, but it will expand as far as you drag the right edge of the browser. It will also correctly overflow the table at the top and scroll it horizontally. The thing I don't like about the first code snippet is where the scrollbar is. I want it to show up within the borders of the fieldset, so even if I narrow the browser down to 800 pixels wide, I can see both the left and right sides of the fieldset's border. The second code snippet is exactly the same as the first except I add another div tag to the mix, inside of the field set and around the grid. Notice how the top fieldset's width won't correctly shrink when you make the viewport of your browser narrower. Any ideas on why it doesn't work, what I can do to get it to work like the first code snippet? I don't think I'm describing this clearly, but if you run the two side by side, and expand and contract the horizontal edge of your browser windows, you'll see the differences between the two. I'm pretty new to CSS and HTML layout, so my understanding of why CSS handles sizing the way it does in some situations is still really confusing to me.   I would like to read a DICOM file in C#. I don't want to do anything fancy, I just for now would like to know how to read in the elements, but first I would actually like to know how to read the header to see if is a valid DICOM file. It consists of Binary Data Elements. The first 128 bytes are unused (set to zero), followed by the string 'DICM'. This is followed by header information, which is organized into groups. A sample DICOM header First 128 bytes: unused DICOM format. Followed by the characters 'D','I','C','M' Followed by extra header information such as: 0002,0000, File Meta Elements Groups Len: 132 0002,0001, File Meta Info Version: 256 0002,0010, Transfer Syntax UID: 1.2.840.10008.1.2.1. 0008,0000, Identifying Group Length: 152 0008,0060, Modality: MR 0008,0070, Manufacturer: MRIcro In the above example, the header is organized into groups. The group 0002 hex is the file meta information group which contains 3 elements: one defines the group length, one stores the file version and the their stores the transfer syntax. Questions How to I read the header file and verify if it is a DICOM file by checking for the 'D','I','C','M' characters after the 128 byte preamble? How do I continue to parse the file reading the other parts of the data?

• Link Maven OSGi to Maven NetBeans Platform Project

  I am using NetBeans 6.9 Beta and I would like to accomplish the following: Set up a project representing the main application using Maven (for instance "Maven Project", "Maven NetBeans Application") Ideally, the project should only contain the necessary libraries to run in Apache Felix (I would like to be able to right-click the project and select "Run in Felix") I do not want that the project contains all the NetBean Platform APIs I would prefer to implement the modules using OSGi. For instance "Maven OSGi Bundle", "Maven NetBeans Module" + OSGi These are the problems, which I have at the moment: The standard Maven archetype ("Maven NetBeans Application") seems always to select all APIs and I have not found a way to deselect APIs - in normal NetBeans Platform Applications that can be accomplished by going to the project properties and deselected the platform modules) - I guess it has something to do with the NetBeans repository (http://bits.netbeans.org/maven2)? Do I have to create another repository? When creating normal "NetBeans Module" with OSGi support, the modules contain both NetBeans Module and OSGi meta data, which is nice. But the "Maven NetBeans Modules" have only NetBeans meta data and the Maven OSGi Bundles have only OSGi meta data). I figured out how to add modules to the project by using project / new and then placing the modules in the Maven project folder. However, I do not quite know yet how I could link to modules from other locations (NetBeans uses Maven modules, which have to be in the same directory as the project?).   Have found one or two people on the interwebs with similar problems, but haven't seen a solution posted anywhere. I'm getting a build error from the code/template below, but can't figure out where the issue is or why it's occurring. It appears that the template isn't recognizing the function, but don't know why this would be occurring. • One object in jTemplate?

  Hi I'm using jTemplate for the first time. I been reading and it's not that hard to use it BUT what I can not figure out and find any thing on is how to work with one object, all the examples I find are a list of objects. My situation is I need to work with one object only. How can I do that? • Render label for a field inside ASP.NET MVC 2 editor templates

  I'm starting to use DataAnnotations in ASP.NET MVC and strongly typed template helpers. Now I have this in my views (Snippet is my custom type, Created is DateTime): <tr> <td><%= Html.LabelFor(f => Model.Snippet.Created) %>:</td> <td><%= Html.EditorFor(f => Model.Snippet.Created)%></td> </tr> The editor template for DateTime is like this: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.DateTime>" %> <%=Html.TextBox("", Model.ToString("g"))%> But now I want to put inside editor template the whole <tr>, so I'd like to have just this in my view: <%= Html.EditorFor(f => Model.Snippet.Created)%> And something like this in editor template, but I don't know how to render for for label attribute, it should be Snippet_Created for my example, the same as id\name for textbox, so pseudo code: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.DateTime>" %> <tr> <td><label for="<What to place here???>"><%=ViewData.ModelMetadata.DisplayName %></label></td> <td><%=Html.TextBox("", Model.ToString("g"))%></td> </tr> The Html.TextBox() have the first parameter empty and id\name for textbox is generated corectly.   I have an application that calls a function to send JSON object to a REST API, my problem is how can I handle time delays and repeat this function till i have a response from the server in case of interrupted network connexion ?? • Runtime binding of XML Schema to Java code

  Hi all, The situation is thus: I have an application which provides editing capabilities to XML an file. This file follows a certain Schema. The Schema belongs to a subset of Schemas which actually follow a line of evolution from one to another - so they are not so different from one another. The main difference between the schemas is an enumeration of string labels. I now have need to save "meta data" in XML format (This is a second type of XML file). This "meta data" contains a list of labels from the set enumerated in the schema. The application can accept a new schema at runtime and adjust itself. Therefore I have an XML file that must be validated by two schemas one static containing the basic structure of the "meta data" stored in the XML and one which contains the 'proper' label enumeration. The latter schema is determined at runtime. I have glanced over JAXB, XMLBeans and JiBX. I can't figure out what technology to choose that would allow for a runtime bind of code and schema in the way that would most benefit my use-case. Any suggestions? Thanks!

• Getting SSL to work with Apache/Passenger on OSX

  I use apache/passenger on my development machine, but need to add SSL support (something which isn't exposed through the control panel). I've done this before in production, but for some reason I can't seem to get it work on OSX. The steps I've followed so far are from a default apache osx install: Install passenger and passenger preference pane. Add my rails app (this works) Create my ca.key, server.crt and server.key as detailed on the apple website. At this point I need to start editing the apache configs, so I added: # Apache knows to listen on port 443 for ssl requests. Is there a way to create a tag that looks similar like this: <div id="site"> <div id="header">Some title</div> <div id="navigation"> SOME DYNAMIC CONTENT HERE </div> <div id="content"> ${content} </div> <div id="footer"></div> </div> and use it like this: <mytags:template> <h1>Title</h1> <p>My content!</p> </mytags:template> i.e. use body-content inside a custom JSTL-tag... This works: <mytags:template content="some content... not HTML" /> but is not very useful in our case.

• A Django form for entering a 0 to n email addresses

  I have a Django application with some fairly common models in it: UserProfile and Organization. A UserProfile or an Organization can both have 0 to n emails, so I have an Email model that has a GenericForeignKey. UserProfile and Organization Models both have a GenericRelation called emails that points back to the Email model (summary code provided below). The question: what is the best way to provide an Organization form that allows a user to enter organization details including 0 to n email addresses? My Organization create view is a Django class-based view. I'm leading towards creating a dynamic form and an enabling it with Javascript to allow the user to add as many email addresses as necessary. I will render the form with django-crispy-forms. I've thought about doing this with a formset embedded within the form, but this seems like overkill for email addresses. Embedding a formset in a form delivered by a class-based view is cumbersome too.
