• How can unrealscript halt event handler execution after an arbitrary number of lines with no return or error?

  I have created a class that extends TcpLink and is instantiated in a custom Kismet Sequence Action. It is being instantiated correctly and is making the GET HTTP request that I need it to (I have checked my access log in apache) and Apache is responding to the request with the appropriate content. The problem I have is that I'm using the event receive mode and it appears that somehow the handler for the Opened event is halted after a specific number of lines of code have executed. Initially, only the lines up to the Broadcast containing "[DNomad_TcpLinkClient] Sent request: " were being executed and none of the Broadcasts were commented out. After commenting out that line, the next Broadcast was successful and so on and so forth. Additionally, my ReceivedText handler is never called, despite Apache returning the correct HTTP 200 response with a body. My working hypothesis is that somehow after the Sequence Action finishes executing the garbage collector cleans up the TcpLinkClient instance. My biggest source of confusion with that is how on earth it does it during the execution of an event handler. Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? • How do I keep existing values from shifting to the right when entering keypresses into a jQuery Mask

  I have a text box I'm using as a timer display "hh:mm:ss" When I select the box and press a number, it inserts the number at the cursor location, but instead of replacing the value at that position, it shifts all existing values over. For example, the timer text box reads "01:00:35" and I replace the first minute position with 1, the timer text box will then read "01:10:03." Anybody know how to force the text box to replace, instead of insert, at the cursor position? I've tried intercepting onKeyPress, doing the replace manually, rewriting the entire timer text, and then returning false. But, that doesn't worked with a jQuery masked input, because my function runs first.

• How to integrate game logic in game engines

  Recently I'm working on a 2d game engine example in .Net with C#. My main problem is that I can't figure out how I should include the game logic within the game. Currently I have a base engine which is a set of classes that they are running sub-systems like Render, Sound, Input and Core functionality. There is an editor which helps the user to add resources, build levels, write scripts and other stuffs. I came up with an idea to use Reflection and CSharpCodeProvider from my editor to compile the written code. This way I can get an executable of my product too. This way is quite well but I would like to know what's really the solution and architecture to do this. My engine's role is 2d platform. The scripting language is C# right now because I can't consist any other embeddable language for now. The game needs compilation and CSharpCodeProvider is the only way for me to do it meantime.

I've looked at tons of tutorials on phrasing xml on the iPhone but none have made much sense because Im still new to cocoa. Twitter stores the text of the tweet in something like this <text> Some tweet here </text>. From reading the tutorials I think this would involve nsxmlparser but I'm not sure. • Wiring up JavaScript handlers after a Partial Postback in ASP.NET

  I am trying to use LinkButtons with the DefaultButton property of the ASP.NET Panel in an UpdatePanel. I have read and used the various other answers that are around describing the wiring up of the click event so that a full postback is not done instead of a partial postback. When the page loads, I wire up the .click function of the LinkButton so that the DefaultButton property of the ASP.NET panel will work. This all works fine, until you bring an UpdatePanel into the mix. With an UpdatePanel, if there is a partial postback, the script to wire up the .click function is not called in the partial postback, and hitting enter reverts to causing a full submit of the form rather than triggering the LinkButton. How can I cause javascript to be executed after a partial postback to re-wire up the .click function of the LinkButton? I have produced a sample page which shows the problem. There are two alerts showing 1) When the code to hook up the .click function is being called, and 2) When the .click function has been called (this only happens when you hit enter in the textbox after the event has been wired up). To test this code, type something in the textbox and hit Enter. The text will be copied to the label control, but "Wiring up Event Click" alert will not be shown. Add another letter, hit enter again, and you'll get a full postback without the text being copied to the label control (as the LinkButton wasn't called). Because that was a full postback, the Wiring Up Event Click event will be called again, and the form will work properly the next time again. This is being done with ASP.NET 3.5. • Linear Layout Issue at Runtime

  Hi all, I am trying to build a layout dynamically which display some text and image for the most part, but has a series of buttons placed next to each other in the bottom. I have a linear layout that carries the text, another linear layout that carries the image. And yet another linear layout that carries the buttons that get created in a for loop. I have a main layout aligned vertical that adds the text, image and buttons layout, in that order. To finally generate something like this: Text .... Image ... Button1 Button2 Button3.... The problem is the number of buttons get decided at runtime, so if there are more than 4 buttons, the 5th button gets displayed really tiny. Also, when I tilt the phone, I get only the text and image showing, but no buttons coz the image covers the entire screen. Layoutting seems to be pretty complicated to me, any help is appreciated!   Hi! I use GDI to create some custom textwidget. I draw directly to the screen, unbuffered. now i'd like to implement some fast scrolling, that simply pixelshifts the respective part of the framebuffer (and only redraws the newly visible lines). I noticed that for example the rich text controls does it like this. If i use some GDI drawing functions to directly draw to the framebuffer, over a rich text control, and then scroll the rich text, it will also scroll my drawing along with the text. so i assume the rich text simply pixelshifts it's part of the framebuffer. I'd like to do the same, but don't know how to do so. Can someone help? (independant of programming language)) thanks!

  Upgraded to 12:04 now can't get inverse search to work (from Okular to Kile) My settings: in Kile I have: Tools - Mode - Normal in Okular I have: Settings- Configure-Editor (and set Editor to Kile) In Kile I have tried the buttons: PDFLatex and then ForwardPDF and also: Latex and then ForwardPDF. both bring up PDF in Okular, but SHIFT/leftClick does not do an inverse search. A bug in Kile? in Okular? in 12.04? in me? I'm using a System76 Pangolin P8. Thanks for any help

  I have a function in PostgreSQL / plpgsql with the following signature: CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION user_login(TEXT, TEXT) RETURNS SETOF _get_session AS $$ ... $$ Where _get_session is a view. The function works fine when calling it from phpPgAdmin, however whan I call it from PHP I get the following error: Warning: pg_query() [function.pg-query]: Query failed: ERROR: type "session_ids" does not exist CONTEXT: compile of PL/pgSQL function "user_login" near line 2 in /home/sites/blah.com/index.php on line 69 The DECLARE section of the function contains the following variables: oldSessionId session_ids := $1; newSessionId session_ids := $2; The domain session_ids DOES exist, and other functions which use the same domain work when called from the same script. The PHP is as follows: $query = "SELECT * FROM $dbschema.user_login('$session_old'::TEXT, '$session'::TEXT)"; $result = pg_query($login, $query); I have also tried this using ::session_ids in place of ::TEXT when calling the function, however I recieve the same error. • Unity Launcher Does Not Remember Favorites

  I have already looked at the similar questions, but none of the solutions there worked for me. Basically, I can edit and remove icons just fine when I am in a session, but the next time I am logged in, they are reset to the default. Even more perplexing is this. If I start dconf-editor, and navigate to desktopunitylauncher, it shows the favorites that are supposed to be there, yet the default ones are still in the Launcher. I have already tried sudo apt-get purge unity and then sudo apt-get install unity from a GNOME session, but to no avail. Any suggestions? Edit: I also tried running gksudo dconf-editor to run the program with elevated privileges. Again I navigated to desktopunitylauncher. This time the default string was there, but when I tried to edit it, it would not change to what I typed.

  How can I remove or autohide to 0 the bottom Gnome panel from a remastered liveCD and autostart AWN (or any dock for that matter...) to replace it? , just as moonOS 4 (the distro that gave me the idea to try to do this) Using this command to enable the auto hide gconftool-2 -t bool -s /apps/panel/default_setup/toplevels/bottom_panel/auto_hide "true" i Figured out how to Autostart AWN,however that involves removing BOTH panels, so im not quite there yet Using UCK gconf-editor to manually edit the option to auto hide the bottom panel doesn't work, when testing the livecd BOTH panels are still there, even though i use the command and then run gconf-editor to check that the option is eneabled, which it is, however, once the livecd starts the autohide feature is disabled

So why is this a foundation version? Basically the new drag and drop designer tool allows you to tailor your own dictionary collection of components and then simply select and position those into your resulting exchange structure. This is true global reuse enabled from a canonical domain dictionary collection. So instead of grappling with XSD Schema syntax, or UML model nuances – this is straightforward direct WYSIWYG visual engineering – using familiar sets of business components. Then the toolkit writes the complex XSD Schema for you, along with test samples, documentation, XMI/UML models, Mindmaps and more. So how do you get a set of business components? The toolkit allows you to harvest these from existing schema collections or enterprise data models, or as in the case of NIEM, existing domain dictionary collections. I’ve been using this for the latest IEEE/OASIS/NIST initiative on a Common Data Format (CDF) for elections management systems.
