• WCF app Deployed on Win7 Machine and get connection refused error

  I have created a Sync Framework application based on the following sample from microsoft and deployed it to a new Windows 7 machine for testing. The app runs ok but when I attempt to communicate I get the following error: Could not connect to http://localhost:8000/RelationalSyncContract/SqlSyncService/. TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8000. I am wondering if there is something I am missing. This is my first experience using WCF and followed microsoft sample code. I have disabled the firewall and opened port 8000 for both TCP and UDP. Not sure what to look at next.   Getting and error on kernel.Bind(scanner = ... "scanner" has the little error line under it in VS 2010. Cannot convert lambda expression to type 'System.Type[]' because it is not a delegate type Tyring to Auto Register like the old kernel.scan in 2.0. I can not figure out what i am doing wrong. The easiest way to solve this problem is to create a new one. Navigate to:  Microsoft Visual Studio 2010>Visual Studio Tools>Visual Studio x64 Win64 Command Prompt (2010)  [if you aren't on an x64 box, pick another command prompt option that fits] Once the MS-Dos window displays, type in this statement: sn -k c:\SampleKey.snk Then copy the output *.snk file to project directory, or the *referenced directory. Remove the old reference to the *.snk file from the project. Add the paired key back to the project as an existing item. When you add back the *.snk file to the project, you will see that the *.snk file is no longer missing.   Our work is done!   *referenced directory: Pay attention to the original error message on compile. The *.snk file that is referenced may be in a directory path you aren't expecting--so you will still get the error unless you change the directory path or write the file to the directory the program is expecting to find the *.snk file.

To fix this kind of error we can use Response.IsClientConnected property to check whether client is connected or not and then we can flush and end response from client. • Flex Error: Repeater is not executing.

  Hello Everyone, I have been trying to get a Repeater to work since yesterday. It works the first time it has been loaded with data but the second time, it is loaded, the following error results with the debugger higlighting a row with the statement isHandlingEvent = false; in the watcherFired method of the Binding class. • I am getting error when using Attributes in Rcpp and have RcppArmadillo code

  I am trying to create a package with RcppArmadillo. The code uses the new attributes methodology of Rcpp. The sourceCpp works fine and compiles the code, but when I build a package I get errors when I use RcppArmadillo code. Without the RcppArmadillo code and using regulare C++, I do not get these errors.   We're trying to publish a ClickOnce application through msbuild. We've got it working fine for an installed version of the windows application. However, when we set install to false so that it just runs the app from the web we get the following error when we try to run the application from the URL: "Deployment and application do not have matching security zones" This works fine in IE.   I'm trying to get Selenium tests to work when they are executed by Hudson, but I have not been successful so far. Hudson is running on Ubuntu, and Selenium is unable to open display. • No GUI boot; startx error, I suspect no filesystem corruption.

  Till yesterday, my Ubuntu 9.10 was working fine. I had watched a movie using vlc. I had also charged my ipod using the laptop. Today, when I started it, I automatically booted into command line. There seems to be no filesystem corruption etc as I can view/open (text) files. Before the CLI appeared, the screen blinked with a cursor, then the white Ubuntu logo flashed, and then I got the CLI login prompt. After logging in, if I try startx, to start gnome, I get the following error after a few seconds: giving up xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X server xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error* The same error comes up, even if I use sudo, or if I change my directory to '/' before using startx, and also when, from the grub, using the recovery mode option to load into CLI, and then trying startx. On trying command 'xinit', I get "Server error" Also, on trying GDM, I get 2 errors. I cannot connect to the internet in this state. Thanks for any help. I am using Dell Inspiron 1440, no special graphics card.

• Google Drive Update keeps throwing an error when I try to save a thumbnail

  The Base64 string checks out fine. I was able to export it to another website and download it again as my image. When I try to do an update using the Drive Javascript api, it just keeps returning this error: Invalidvaluefor:Notavalidbase64bytestring I also true making the string URL safe.
