    Hi, I am trying to send a date to the server as part of a get transaction, however, looking at the urls (through firebug), it appears that the var sDate is never replaced with its value.     I recently played with MongoDB in Rails using Mongoid. I like the ability to define attributes for models within the model file (as opposed to in migrations): class Person include Mongoid::Document field :name, :type => String field :birthday, :type => Date end For projects that cannot use a schema-less database, does a similar feature exist? Any gems or plugins that generate schemas from a similar syntax would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The question asks for a T-SQL solution that will return the count of products not sold, per store, per day over the past month.   • 403 Forbidden serving static files from VirtualBox shared folder with nginx (Ubuntu 10.04LTS guest, Windows 7 host)

    I'm working on a local development VM and trying to test serving my site with gunicorn and nginx as a reverse proxy for static resources only. The site loads minus static resources with user nginx; in nginx.conf. Attempting to load a static resource individually reveals a 403 Forbidden error. For background. The static resources are in a shared folder under /media/sf_work. All files are owned by root:vboxsf (VirtualBox default). My user account on the system has been added to the vboxsf group, and I have full access to the shared folder. For comparison, I tried changing the nginx.conf user to my user account. In that scenario, the static files did load, but then the homepage itself gives a 403 Forbidden error. So, I then tried adding the nginx user to the vboxsf group, but then everything gives a 403 Forbidden error. After further investigation it seems that if the nginx.conf user is in any group, it results in a 403 Forbidden. Any idea what could possibly be going on here?

  • Testing + production server and syncing MySQL data

    I have a web application running on LAMP with a testing server and a production server. Is there a standard practice for keeping the data on the testing server in sync with the production server? The data on the testing server gets out of date pretty quick and I feel like there must be an easier way than just dumping the production server and copying it onto the testing server every so often. It's not important that the data is in total sync, just that the testing server represents the production enviornment as accurately as possible.

    I work in a bizarre and irrational industry where we need to be able to represent the time of day as 06:00:00 to 30:00:00 instead of 0:00:00 to 24:00:00. Is there any way to do this using the DateTime type? If I try to construct a date time with an hour value greater than 24 it throws an exception.

    I use bash on mac and one of the aliases is like this alias gitlog='git --no-pager log -n 20 --pretty=format:%h%x09%an%x09%ad%x09%s --date=short --no-merges' However when I do :! gitlog I get /bin/bash: gitlog: command not found I know I can add aliases like this in my .gitconfig [alias] co = checkout st = status ci = commit br = branch df = diff However I don't want to add all my bash aliases to .gitconfig. That is not DRY. Is there a better solution?

I'm unnable to "Run on server...", tomcat does not deploy app for unknown reason. I can see app in wtpapps folder but it still does not deploys.
