How to determine if a target will be executed?

Hi, I'm writing an msbuild file and have something like this: <ValidateDependsOn>$(ValidateDependsOn);ValidateA</ValidateDependsOn> <ValidateDependsOn>$(ValidateDependsOn);ValidateB</ValidateDependsOn> <Target Name="BuildA">  </Target> <Target Name="BuildB">  </Target> <Target Name="ValidateA"> <Error />  </Target> <Target Name="ValidateB"> <Error />  </Target> Builds can take a while. Originally we had the Build steps depending on the Validate steps, but sometimes a validate step wouldn't run until the middle of the build and you would have wasted time getting there. So, we moved the validate steps to the start by using the ValidateDependsOn pattern to insert the targets to run up front. The problem now though is that sometimes during a build BuildB may not actually run, and this means I don't need and in fact, don't want ValidateB to run. Is there any way I can selectively update ValidateDependsOn by conditionally knowing which targets will actually be run? I'm looking for something equivalent to: <ValidateDependsOn Condition="TargetWillRun(BuildB)">$(ValidateDependsOn);ValidateB</ValidateDependsOn>

I need that ID to be the number at the end of the href string. Javascript auto calculating with (+) and (-)

I need some help finding the error in my javascript calculation. I need to calculate the sum of my input boxes automatically and have my user be able to edit the calculation using + or - buttons. The code I have already does the calculation automatically if you manually enter the numbers, but pressing the + or - does not change the calculation. How do you insert a transformed integer_sequence (or similar since I am targeting C++11) into a variadic template argument? For example I have a class that represents a set of bit-wise flags (shown below). It is made using a nested-class because you cannot have two variadic template arguments for the same class. It would be used like typedef Flags<unsigned char, FLAG_A, FLAG_B, FLAG_C>::WithValues<0x01, 0x02, 0x04> MyFlags. Typically, they will be used with the values that are powers of two (although not always, in some cases certain combinations would be made, for example one could imagine a set of flags like Read=0x1, Write=0x2, and ReadWrite=0x3=0x1|0x2). Is there a built in method or defacto default plugin that will let you automatically assign an unique ID to an element in jQuery, or do you need to implement something like this yourself? I'm looking for the jQuery equivalent to Prototype's identify method Here's an example. I have some HTML structure on a page that looks like this <span id="prefix_1">foo bar</span> ... <div id="foo"> <span></span> <span></span> <span></span> </div> I want to assign each of the spans an ID that will be unique to the page. Inserting Row in Table inside Form tag autosubmitting in firefox/chrome

I have a form that will have dynamic elements inserted with javascript and am experiencing some strange behavior. I also want to make it dynamic so that if I add another item in siteMenu, it would update the xslt appropriately.

How can i get my delete messages function just appear for the user's own messages left on their friends page?

I had been working on this trying the delete message button to work on my own profile page of my site. When I delete a message left by a friend it not only deletes it from the screen but deletes it from the database. The messages in the database have 4 fields: message_id, from, to and message. As this didnt work either.

jquery .find to get the text in a <li>

So I have a series of 2 nested ul's. When you click on the text (which is in an a tag) in the li, my page makes that editable and adds a save button. clicking the save button needs to give me back the new text inside that li and the id of that li. The id is not a problem. I'm trying to use jQuery's .find to select that anchor tag (which is successful) but i can't seem to get the text from it. I'm wondering about the .childNodes property, I have the code below, and for some reason I get 18 children, while 6 are HTMLInputElements as expected, and the rest are undefined. What is this about? What's the best way to move "a child up" in a .NET XmlDocument?

Flex 1009 error Chart datatip

I am simply trying to hide a datatip on a chart if the hit data item (yfield item) is == 101 for two differnt series an areaseries and a line series. The following funciton works in IE but throws an error in firefox. jquery simplemodal close wont work in firefox
