    how do i organize country data (countries, states and cities etc) in mysql? cause every country has 3 tables: countries, states and cities. should i have each country in separate set of tables or should i have them all in these 3 tables? if i have all of them in same tables, im afraid that the amount of rows will be huge cause i tend to have a lot of countries! what is best practice for this?

    Hi As i know, all the threads share memory location. For example a global variable changes in one thread will reflect in another thread. Since each thread has its own stack, the local variables that are created inside the thread is unique. In this case, why do we need to go for thread specific data mechanism?. I mean this looks like plain old C, but in Objective-C I would write @"hwsr" if I wanted to make it a string. I want to pass such an "constant" or "enum thing" as argument to an method.

I have tried converting the column to XML using CONVERT but it gives the error: Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'CONVERT'.   • managed object subclasses are not generating implementation files and are incorrectly named

    In Xcode 4.6, I generated plenty of managed object subclass files without any problem. But now that I'm trying to do it in Xcode 5, it generates only a .h file. The header file has the correct properties, but it takes the name of my project, rather than the name of the core data entity I selected. Just to be sure I hadn't forgotten something, I carefully followed these steps . What could be going on? Thanks

    I'm trying to write a parser that will read a particular file type, and I need to map the different data types to C# equivalents. Most of them aren't that difficult, but I'm having trouble wrapping my head around what "int16 with a bias of 14" means. I've deduced that it's some kind of floating point type, so my best bet would be to write a converter that would map it to a float, double, or decimal type. I'm not sure where to take it from here, though.
