How to play animation in order in ipad

Flex 4 / Flash 4 Add to Current State

I am having a little difficulty working with states in Flex (or Flash) 4. Lets say that my application has three states; the default (base) state, state 1, and state 2. State 1 should always be based on the base state, that's easy enough to accomplish. However, I would like state 2 to be based on the current state (either base or state 1). I can't for the life of me figure it out. Getting table schema from a query

As per MSDN, SqlDataReader.GetSchemaTable returns column metadata for the query executed. I am wondering is there a similar method that will give table metadata for the given query? I mean what tables are involved and what aliases it has got. In my application, I get the query and I need to append the where clause programically. Using GetSchemaTable(), I can get the column metadata and the table it belongs to. But even though table has aliases, it still return the real table name. Is there a way to get the aliase name for that table? Validating collection elements in WPF

I would like to know how people are going about validating collections in WPF. Lets say for example that I have an observable collection of ViewModels that I am binding to the items source of a grid, and the user can add new rows to the grid and needs to fill them. First of all I need to validate on each row to ensure that required fields of each ViewModel are filled in. This is fine and simple to do for each row. However, the second level of validation is on the collection as a whole. For example i want to ensure that no two rows of the collection have the same identifier, or that no two rows have the same name. Im basically checking for duplicate properties within different rows. I also have more complex conditions where I must ensure that there is at least one item within the collection that has some property set. How do I get a validation rule that would allow me to check these rules, validating on the whole collection rather than the individual items. I also want to print any validation error above the datagrid so that the user can fix the problem and the message will update or disappear as the user fixes each different rule. Anyone have any experience of the proper way to do this? Thanks Chris

Hello, I have one table Person: Id Name 1 Person1 2 Person2 3 Person3 And I have its child table Profile: Id PersonId FieldName Value 1 1 Firstname Alex 2 1 Lastname Balmer 3 1 Email [email protected] 4 1 Phone +1 2 30004000 And I want to get data from these two tables in one row like this: Id Name Firstname Lastname Email Phone 1 Person1 Alex Balmer [email protected] +1 2 30004000 What is the most optimized query to get these vertical (key, value) values in one row like this? Now I have a problem that I done four joins of child table to parent table because I need to get these four fields. Some optimization is for sure possible. I would like to be able to modify this query in easy way when I add new field (key,value). What is the best way to do this? To create some StoreProcedure? I would like to have strongly types in my DB layer (C#) and using LINQ (when programming) so it means when I add some new Key, Value pair in Profile table I would like to do minimal modifications in DB and C# if possible. Actually I am trying to get some best practices in this case.

This shows the tab as 1.0 transparency while tab2 stays at 0.7. Once the user clicks on tab2, tab1 goes to 0.7 transparency and tab2 goes to 1.0. However, i can not seem to get it to do that! Animated transitions in WPF

I can't figure out what I'm missing here. Here's the problem: Consider a (Control|Data)Template with a Trigger that switches visibility of some inner UI elements. E.g. show a TextBlock when IsReadOnly==true and show a TextBox when IsReadOnly==false. Everything is perfect if you do this without animation - one or two setters would do the job. But what if you want a fancy animation? Then you would specify which animations to start in EnterActions and ExitActions. But the problem is what exactly the animations should do? Modifying width/height seems really ugly, because fixed sizes in WPF are almost always a wrong way to go and also it's absolutely unflexible. So far, the best I've come up with is modifying MaxHeight/MaxWidth to some extent, this gives just a little more flexibility but still seems brutal. How do you tell WPF to animate Width/Height of an element from 0 to "as much as needed"? UPD: Currently I do animate Opacity and RenderTransform, and it works. It's just that sometimes I'd like to see animations where elements slide around without transformation. This is not a critical question, but a quite interesting one for me.

Google Spreadsheet API problem: memory exceeded

Hi guys, Don't know if anyone has experience with the Google Spreadsheets API or the Zend_GData classes but it's worth a go: When I try to insert a value in a 750 row spreadsheet, it takes ages and then throws an error that my memory limit (which is 128 MB!) was exceeded. I also got this when querying all records of this spreadsheet but this I can imaging because it's quite a lot of data. But why does this happen when inserting a row? That's not too complex, is it? jquery - problem with executing annimation of two separate objects, one after another

Hello I have problem to put together animations of two separate objects to second one start when first one ends. I tried to use callback but it seems that i make some syntax misteakes which crash jQuery or cause some unexpected behaviour. It seems that i'm stuck so I'd like to ask You for best way to put these animations together to act the way I want. in mouseenter 1st .pp grows, 2nd .tt fade in in mouseleave 1st .tt fade out, 2nd .pp shrink It's alsp relevant that animations doesn't pile up, i mean here animation called by one event doesnt wait until other animation in progress will end. Hoping you can help me with a problem. I cannot get rid of Bullets in Firefox, i don't want any anywhere, hence my list-style-type: none!important being everywhere. Adding jQuery event handler to expand div when a link is clicked

I'm using a bit of jQuery to expand/hide some divs. I need to add an event handler so that when a link is clicked, it opens a corrisponding div. Each toggled div will have a unique class assigned to it. I am looking for some advice about how to build the event handler. Which Table Should be Master and Child in Database Design

I am quickly learning the ins and outs of database design (something that, as of a week ago, was new to me), but I am running across some questions that don't seem immediately obvious, so I was hoping to get some clarification. The question I have right is about foreign keys. As part of my design, I have a Company table. Originally, I had included address information directly within the table, but, as I was hoping to achieve 3NF, I broke out the address information into its own table, Address. In order to maintain data integrity, I created a row in Company called "addressId" as an INT and the Address table has a corresponding addressId as its primary key. What I'm a little bit confused about (or what I want to make sure I'm doing correctly) is determining which table should be the master (referenced) table and which should be the child (referencing) table. When I originally set this up, I made the Address table the master and the Company the child. However, I now believe this is wrong due to the fact that there should be only one address per Company and, if a Company row is deleted, I would want the corresponding Address to be removed as well (CASCADE deletion). I may be approaching this completely wrong, so I would appreciate any good rules of thumb on how to best think about the relationship between tables when using foreign keys. Thanks!

PHP RegEx: How to Stripe Whitespace Between Two Strings

I have been trying to write a regex that will remove whitespace following a semicolon (';') when it is between both an open and close curly brace ('{','}'). I've gotten somewhere but haven't been able to pull it off. CSS box around box technique

Dear Experts, I was trying to make an CSS division box with content in it as well as a border around it. I tried everything. Setting up the Paddings of both boxes, margin, and messing around with the width. TO be honest, it took me around 30min to do this and I still can't get it right :( I know that a way to achieve the same result would be setting up a border around just one box. But I just wanna learn this box around box background-color technique. THanks in advance
