    I am trying to find a simple matrix overview of the various licenses around open source software but can't find anything useful. I would like to know whether software under a certain licence can be used in commercial closed source software, if there has to be the original source code included, if the licence has to be redistirbuted, etc. I know this is a difficult topic because I guess only the minority of programmers are also moonlighting lawyers - neither am I.

I understand that help is only installed for the plugins that are installed already. However, I see that PDE(Plugin Development) API reference is not installed on my local eclipse, though a overview of PDE is. Basically, I want to have a local copy of whatever is on eclipse help site . How do I get that in HTML format?

  • Retrieving data from a JSON sub array in javascript, where identifier starts with an integer

    I must be missing something simple here, but I'm having trouble retrieving data from a JSON array response. I can access objects with identifiers that start with letters, but not ones that start with numbers. For example, I can access data.item[0].specs.overview.details But I can't access data.item[0].specs.9a99.details If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

    I'm having an issue with bad requests from certain search parameters. An example URL: http://www.foo.com/washington/forums/search/%26 Results in a bad request. The rewriter config line looks like this: <rewrite url="^(.*)/forums/search/(.*)" to="~/Pages/Forums/Overview.aspx?Address=$1&amp;q=$2" processing="stop" /> I'm thinking it's an issue with the Regex...?
