I have Windows 7 operating system installed. 192.168.0.5 livesite.com I have tried: Clearing browser cache Issued "ipconfig /flushdns" from the command line Issued "ping livesite.com" from the command line (response was "Reply from 192.168.0.5: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=128") Restarting unit Backing up original hosts file and making a new one Checking lmhosts.sam (everything is commented out) Connecting directly to modem using cable Checked \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\DataBasePath Tried it on another laptop with exactly the specs as I have Then I tried Changing entry to "127.0.0.1 livesite.com" (ping ok, browser ok) Changing entry to "192.168.0.5 livesite.com" (ping ok, browser ok but only for a sec) Issued "ipconfig /flushdns" from the command line (ping ok, browser not ok) Changing entry to "127.0.0.1 livesite.com" (ping ok, browser ok) Changing entry to "192.168.0.5 livesite.com" (ping ok, browser not ok) Issued "ipconfig /flushdns" from the command line (ping ok, browser not ok) Any idea why it worked for a moment?     The mouse pointer in my Ubuntu 8.04.3 LTS VM (running in VMware Fusion) has changed into a little hand holding a document. It doesn't show up in screen-shots. All mouse clicks (left or right) are ignored. But I can still type in the one Terminal window I have open. (And commands work fine.) I wonder if I'm in some kind of drag-and-drop mode. How do I get out of this? Update: Rebooting (from the command-line) worked. Ubuntu came up with the regular mouse-pointer.

    There's something I want to do in Excel 2010. Specifically, I want to be able to make the open sheet load data from a text file, by clicking -important- on a cell of the current open worksheet. So my specific needs are: If it is possible in some way, to start a macro/script by clicking on a cell. About the script/macro: What would be the preferable, by your opinion, way of implementation. And more specifically, how to automatically import the data needed, only by clicking, without having to continually specify the desirable .txt file each time, only 1 time at max, at start or by using a custom "initalization/configuration" file.

    I'm running Windows 7 x64 with Gvim 7.4 Using my external mouse, I was wondering how to achieve 'horizontal scroll', I read all the documentation about it but still haven't figured out how to achieve it. 'horizontal scroll' to me means holding down the middle mouse button and moving the mouse horizontally. But that's just not working. Essentially what I want to achieve is something like this VS plugin. I know about zl/zh but I want to scroll horizontally from the mouse (by holding MMB and moving horizontally like I said, somehow, maybe?) So when does ScrollWheelLeft/ScrollWheelRight events get fired? Thanks.

    I have noticed that when selecting options (drop down menus, radio buttons etc) on some websites you see an ever more complex URL being created and then you can use that URL to access that website at a later date and go straight to the page with your desired options. Unfortunately on other websites the URL remains fixed and you appear to have no choice but to select the options all over again. I was wondering if there was some utility that would help automate this process.

  • jQuery button click refresh of jqGrid only firing once

My problem is, any other clicks past the first it seems to run through the jquery code when clicking the button but it never makes it to the POST page.     I am attempting to use livequery. I unfortunately am stuck using jquery 1.2.6. What exactly is wrong there? Is it some bug with jQ1.2.6 and livequery 1.1.1? This same question was asked here but the question wasn't clear, and the answer didn't help.

  • (Java) JPopupMenu won't close if I click outside of it

    Hi all, I have created a Java Swing app that has no visible main window but which is controlled through its tray icon by right-clicking. I am using a JPopupMenu for this, but when I click outside of the popup menu (e.g. on another application's window or the desktop) the JPopupMenu does not disappear which is not the expected behaviour. Originally I was using a popupMenu which did work as expected but this did not allow me to have icons in the menu. How can I get it to close when I click elsewhere, as expected? Thanks!

    Hi, I have a JSlider which shows bet sizes (for a poker game) I am trying to achieve the effect that when a mouse click occurs the slider jumps forward by a bet amount (i.e. a big blind amount) rather than just incrementing by one. If the mouse click happens to the left of the bar i want it to decrement by a fixed amount else increment. I looked into attaching a mouse listener, but do not know how I can use the event to find out on what side of the bar the mouse was clicked. Any ideas?

    Hi everyone, I have an app widget which runs neatly. However, I am unable to highlight a click on a linked item. I've seen it in the standard app widgets like 'Music' and 'Power Control', for instance. Moreover, I've also been studying the Music app widget's source at album_appwidget.xml. The only thing I could think of is the LinearLayout defined at lines 23-35 which states android:clickable="true" Unfortunately, this does not work for me. So does anyone have a hint on how to highlight a click on an app widget? I've tried the LinearLayout, TextView and Button. None of them displayed a border as a highlight. Thanks in advance, Steff
