• Browser is showing PHP code instead of processing it

  I have installed XAMPP on my computer which is Windows 8 pro. I use to work with Windows 7 every time I run the index.php file on Windows 8 it shows the code on the browser IE10. Here is what I have done: I have named the file correctly: index.php I have installed the server and saved the files inside c:/xampp/htdocs/PHP/ I have used to open and close all PHP tags and everything else seems working fine, like, PHPMyAdmin, and the Ini file I don't know whats wrong and it is driving me crazy ... • JSF f:view beforePhase firing multiple times as I LEAVE the page

  Still trying to get my problems with page loaders firing like crazy in JSF From this link: http://www.javabeat.net/tips/122-jsf-best-practices.html It appears that if I put a that it will fire once when entering the page. However, it fires like 4 times when LEAVING the page, kind of defeats the point. Any ideas?

• My iphone app gets memory warning and killed at 6.8MB

• Why does MS SQL Mgmt Studio Express keep forgetting my passwords?

  I have about had it with this tool, I check the save password box at the login dialogue but it just doesn't work. Sometimes it will for a few days, and then the password will just be gone. Nearly every time I load this thing up I have to track down the password again and type it in. Is there some password rule in the database that would be causing this? • If i write in assembly or machine language, will the program work on any computer with a compatible processor?

  Basically, i'm wanting to know if i can use either machine or assembly language to write a program that will work on any computer with an x86 processor, despite differences in operating systems. For example, you run a program and no matter what computer it's on, it'll display "Hello, World!" I know it's a little crazy to want to know either of these to languages, but i figure it's an incredible thing to learn, so why not?
