  • Setup Turtoise SVN+SubWeaver for existing dreamweaver site?

    I installed both Turtoise SVN and SubWeaver, I now have a SubWeaver drop down menu on the top of dreamweaver. I read a lot of the help files which basically explains how the system works and explains Copy-Modify-Merge. I am trying to set this up for my already existing dreamweaver site though, I am not finding information on how to do that. Can anyone explain this to me? Thanks!

    Hi Using Authlogic, what is the best way to create a record in rails on other users' behalf? Description: I have a c++ server which handles Tcp connections from many c++ clients, and I want the c++ server to create a new record in the rails database using its REST api. However, the c++ server needs to be authenticated before creating that record. What I want is to attach the original user ID (from the c++ client) to the record (but not the servers) so I know from which user the record came from. One way is for the c++ client to send its persistence token over to the c++ server which sends that token as a parameter to the create action, does that make sense? or are there maybe some better ways to do this? I want some help regarding a query so here's my first post We have 15 volunteers currently who will go to 4 different schools to teach. Right now the procedure is far more complicated than it ought to be, and we're hoping that Maven will simplify things to a one-click build. My question is, is there a wizard or automatic importer for converting an existing Eclipse Java project to a Maven project, using the Maven plugin? Or should I create a new Maven project and manually copy over all source files, libs, etc.

  • sendmail and MX records when mail server is not on web host

    This is a problem I'm sure is easy to fix, but I've been banging my head on it all day. I'm developing a new web site for a client. The web site resides at (this is an example) website.com. I have a PHP form script to email visitors' requests to [email protected]. When I coded this on a staging server on a different domain, all worked fine. When I moved it to website.com, the mail messages never arrived. The web server is on a virtual host with a major ISP. Here's what I've learned since then: My client's mail server is Microsoft Exchange on a box physically in their office. Whenever someone on the outside world emails [email protected], the mail arrives. But if the web server sends to the same email address, it fails every time. This is not a PHP problem. I secure shell in to the web server and have tested this both with sendmail and the UNIX mail application. I've also tested it by emailing various email accounts from the shell. I can email myself, for example, just nobody at the website.com domain. In short, when I'm logged in to website.com, mail to [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] all fail. All other addresses work fine. What I've discovered is those dropped emails are routed to the web server's "catchall" account where they sit in its inbox. I've done an MX lookup on website.com. The MX record points to mailsec.website.com. I can telnet to mailsec.website.com port 25 and see the SMTP server. It appears to me that website.com isn't doing an MX lookup when it's sending mail to [email protected]. My theory is that it recognizes the domain as local, sees that there's no "requests" user account to deliver it to, and drops the mail into the catchall account. What I want is to force sendmail to do the MX lookup and send the message on to the Exchange server. I'm at wit's end here. I can't figure out how to do this. For that matter, I may be way off base here and have misdiagnosed this entirely. Internet mail and MX has always seemed a black art to me, and my ignorance is certainly showing in this question.

  • Deleting unreferenced child records with nhibernate

    Hi There I am working on a mvc app using nhibernate as the orm (ncommon framework) I have parent/child entities: Product, Vendor & ProductVendors and a one to many relationship between them with Product having a ProductVendors collection Product.ProductVendors. I currently am retrieving a Product object and eager loading the children and sending these down the wire to my asp.net mvc client. A user will then modify the list of Vendors and post the updated Product back. I am using a custom model binder to generate the modified Product entity. I am able to update the Product fine and insert new ProductVendors. My problem is that dereferenced ProductVendors are not cascade deleted when specifying Product.ProductVendors.Clear() and calling _productRepository.Save(product). The problem seems to be with attaching the detached instance. I've tried to iterate within ruby over each record, but this takes much too long and quits sometimes with some "segmentation fault" bugs.   • List of existing Android Virtual Devices empty

    I'm new to Android development and I'm currently going through some tutorials. When I setup a new Android Project in Eclipse, and select Windows - Android SDK and AVD Manager, in Virtual Devices, the list of existing Android Virtual Devices is empty. Is it supposed to be? From the pictures in the tutorial, it's pre-populated. Can I download these AVDs from somewhere, am I missing something here? Also, I'm developing this on my Macbook Pro.

    Hi, I have two tables: tblSizes and tblColors. tblColors has columns called ColorName, ColorPrice and SizeID. There is one size to multiple colors. I need to write a query to select the size and all the colors (as columns) for a that size with the price of each size in its respective column.   • Linq to SQL EntitySet Records causing duplicate insertion

    In a WPF application i'm using Linq to SQL in a multi tier application. (This is an archailogy photo filing application), so every excavation has its corresponding Pictures, thus a one-to-many relationship. This relationship is correctly created by SQLMetal (which i'm using to create the POCOs). So here is the situation i 'm having trouble with: Saving changes (either of new or altered objects) is done through UnitOfWork() pattern this way: using (IUnitOfWork unitOfWork = UnitOfWork.Begin()) { //if this is a new record if (SelectedExcavation.excavation.ExcavationId == 0) { IsNewRecord = true; excavService.Add(SelectedExcavation.excavation); } //send the actual changes to the dbms unitOfWork.Commit(); } Everything works fine! BUTTTT!!! Whenever a record gets updated which has (already at least one ) corresponding Picture Record: 1) a new Excavation Record is inserted 2) the current Excavation Record gets updated 3) the previous Picture Record gets its Id changed to the newly created ExcavationId What is going on under the hood? Does Linq to SQL not handle such simple update scenarios? Thanks in advance

    I have a query to get the IDs of people in a particular order, say: ids = [1, 3, 5, 9, 6, 2] I then want to fetch those people by Person.find(ids) But they are always fetched in numerical order, I know this by performing: people = Person.find(ids).map(&:id) => [1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9] How can I run this query so that the order is the same as the order of the ids array? I made this task more difficult as I wanted to only perform the query to fetch people once, from the IDs given. So, performing multiple queries is out of the question. I tried something like: ids.each do |i| person = people.where('id = ?', i) But I don't think this works.

Using create.rjs to change the content in this div, I have the following in my create.rjs file: page.replace_html :testly, :partial = 'test' Simply put, this should just refresh the partial right? But its not working... Would love any suggestions!
