I know how stored procedures work, but I have yet to use them within Zend Framework. Is there any built in support for stored procedures that I should know about? What is the best practice way to create a model in this senario? Should I extend Zend_Db_Table_Abstract or some other class?

    i tried to extend the listbox control and override its RenderEndTag method. everything works well if i used the control directly in a webapage. ie, the RenderEndTag is called. but when i try to put the control in a WebUserControl and use the webusercontorl in a webpage, the RenderEndTag of the extended control is not called. this is strange because the constructor is being called but the RenderEndTag method is not! any ideas about fixing the issue?

    I am working on a Symfony project and I currently have this: <?php echo preg_replace('/\n/','<br />', $review->getComments()); ?> and would very much like to be able to make all getters add html line breaks so i don't have to pepper my code with preg_replace. the $object-getFieldname methods are work automatically so I am looking to extend this somewhere to globally add a new method.     I'm trying to execute a PL/SQL function in EclipseLink which uses Oracle Specific types(eg. Boolean). I've tried using PLSQLStoredProcedureCall which complains that I'm not executing a procedure and I have tried using StoredFunctionCall but that returns PLS-00382: expression is of wrong type Has anyone developed a solution to invoke functions in EclipseLink with Oracle Types? I have heard that it would be possible to extend StoredFunctionCall but I'd rather leverage existing functionality as much as possible.

    Is it possible to run PHP Zend test cases (those that extend Zend_Test_PHPUnit_ControllerTestCase, etc.) through Eclipse PDT? I would like to be able to run them in a similar fashion as you run JUnit tests in Eclipse, by right-clicking the test file and selecting "Run as a JUnit test case." I'd love to see the green or red bar instead of having to go to the command line :). Thanks in advance.
