  • Problem facing fetching contacts from yahoo using open Social API

    Hello there I was trying to get contact list from yahoo for POC. It was documented that the there is need to send a GET request to the URL with the user's ID and returns the contact list in XML format. I tried the same but facing the authentication message 401 from browser, normal console java application and from jsp too I guess I must try it using the open social API package. Can anybody please guide or suggest the solution for this problem if possible please post any code sample for any similar application in JAVA as I found most samples are unclear and in JSON only.     Hi all, I am facing a issue in removing the ABRecord . The code that i use is as follows : BOOL isRemoved = ABAddressBookRemoveRecord(addressbook, record, &error). The application should reconize a list of items (so far so good).   • Junit import using * wildcard

    I've noticed that when importing JUnit, the * wildcard doesn't always work. e.g. for the annotation @Test you must import org.junit.Test since org.junit.* doesn't recognize the annotation. Is there a reason for this, is it something that needs setting? or just a quirk in the way somethings like JUnit are. FYI, I am using: Junit 4.6, Intelli-J 8.1.3.

In my understanding, it should be enough to declare the dependencies at the lower level, i.e. in the plugins. Why do we still have the feature.xml requires mechanism?

  • Can't import matplotlib

    I installed matplotlib using the Mac disk image installer for MacOS 10.5 and Python 2.5. I installed numpy then tried to import matplotlib but got this error: ImportError: numpy 1.1 or later is required; you have 2.0.0.dev8462. It seems to that version 2.0.0.dev8462 would be later than version 1.1 but I am guessing that matplotlib got confused with the ".dev8462" in the version. Is there any workaround to this?
