  • Accept All Cookies via HttpClient

    So this is currently how my app is set up: 1.) Login Activity. 2.) Once logged in, other activities may be fired up that use PHP scripts that require the cookies sent from logging in. I am using one HttpClient across my app to ensure that the same cookies are used, but my problem is that I am getting 2 of the 3 cookies rejected. I do not care about the validity of the cookies, but I do need them to be accepted. I tried setting the CookiePolicy, but that hasn't worked either. This is what logcat is saying: 11-26 10:33:57.613: WARN/ResponseProcessCookies(271): Cookie rejected: "[version: 0] [name: cookie_user_id][value: 1][domain: www.trackallthethings.com][path: trackallthethings][expiry: Sun Nov 25 11:33:00 CST 2012]". Illegal path attribute "trackallthethings". Nothing fancy. I understand that the reason my cookies are being rejected is because of an "Illegal path attribute" (I am running a script at /mobile-api/login.php whereas the cookie will return with a path of just "/" for trackallthethings), but I would like to accept the cookies anyhow. Is there a way to do this?

  • WP7 - group of textboxes into some sort of template?

    I'm still pretty new at Silverlight so there might be a way to do this, but I'm just unfamiliar with the terminology... I basically have this grouping of textboxes and textblocks and I would like to repeat this same grouping whenever the addNew button is clicked. Is there a way to do this by creating some sort of template?     I'm creating a standalone WPF app with multi-language support. I've found some great resources (mostly on SO) on how to store and access the strings as needed. This part is pretty straightforward and doable, but I'm fuzzy on how to take care of screen layout issues. I'm using some custom images to skin up my app for buttons, etc. For instance, here's a button with some text within: <Button Canvas.Left="33" Canvas.Top="484" Style="{StaticResource SmallButtonBase}"> <TextBlock FontSize="20" FontWeight="Bold" TextAlignment="Center" FontFamily="Helvetica"> Enter </TextBlock> </Button> Now here is the same button with text from another language: <Button Canvas.Left="33" Canvas.Top="484" Style="{StaticResource SmallButtonBase}"> <TextBlock FontSize="20" FontWeight="Bold" TextAlignment="Center" FontFamily="Helvetica"> Enterenschtein </TextBlock> </Button> So my question is: What is a good method to prevent this "overflow" situation. I'd like to have XAML take care of any font resizing or indenting that is needed automatically so that I don't have to tweak the UI for each language I'm supporting. Any insight is appreciated!

If I update rank column in the table, then only once I will have to do it, otherwise everytime while fetching the rank of the student, I will have to make calculations.

  • Reading a text file, and performing actions based on strings read

    Let me start off by saying that I really am quite new to C. So basically I have a text file (contains around 30 assembly instructions, separated by new lines), and I am successfully reading them into my program. From here I need to perform certain actions based off each instruction. I would assume the best way to do this would be via a switch-case statement. However I am encountering a lot of problems due to me trying to compare strings that are 33 characters long. Can anyone please offer me advice on what I am doing wrong, or offer an alternative?     Hi, I am using Solr (1.4) AutoSuggest feature using termsComponent. Currently, if I type 'goo' means, Solr suggest words like 'google'. But I would like to receive suggestions like 'google, google alerts, ..' . ie, suggestions with single and multiple terms. Not sure, whether I need to use edgengrams for that. for eg, indexing google like 'go', 'oo', 'og', ... . But I think I don't need this, Since I don't want partial search.   • Custom 403 Error page not showing

    I want to restrict access to certain folders (includes, xml and logs for example) and so I've given them 700 permissions, and all files within them 600 permissions. Firstly, is this the right approach to restrict access? I have a .htaccess file in my root that handles rewriting and error documents. There are two pages in the root - 403.php and 404.php - for 403 and 404 errors. And I have these rules added to my .htaccess file: ErrorDocument 404 /404.php ErrorDocument 403 /403.php Now, the 404 page works just fine. The 403 page does not show when I try to access the 'includes' folder - I get the standard apache 403 error page instead, saying 'Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.' However, when I try going to the .htaccess file (in the web root) in my browser, I get my custom 403 error page. Why is this happening?

    Hi, I try to apply flattened css to xhtml (which get from websites). I am using css4j-0.12.1.jar (from http://www.informatica.info/projects/css/) to process the url html content. For a few urls the code seems to be hang. Even no exception is thrown. For a particular stylableelement or style code doesnot return any value and hangs. For a few websites code hang in, CSSStyleDeclaration.getPropertyValue(style); and for a few websites code hang in, CSSStylableElement.getComputedStyle(); I am using the latest jar.   • How to set up multiple SSIDs with bandwidth limiting on a single wireless router?

    I have an Asus WL-520GU wireless router connected to a cable modem that I use for wireless internet access in my apartment. I would like to set it up so that it provides two SSIDs: one secured and password-protected for my regular use, and a "guest" SSID that's unsecured but throttled to, say, 10% of the available bandwidth. What is the most straightforward way to do this? I've been looking into DD-WRT and Tomato, both of which support my router. DD-WRT supports setting up multiple SSIDs using the GUI, but I don't know if it's possible to limit the bandwidth of each SSID independently; point #12 in this FAQ thread says it's not possible to limit by day or by MAC address, which is discouraging but not conclusive. Tomato allows bandwidth limits in its QoS settings, going by the screenshot here, but multiple SSID support is still experimental and it doesn't look like it will work with the encryption settings or bandwidth limits in the GUI. I'd like to know a good way to do this which gives me the fewest opportunities for screwing up. I'm no stranger to the command line, if that turns out to be what's necessary, but if so, please explain what the commands are doing because I don't have a good mental model of what needs to happen to set this up.

  • CD/DVD Drive not detecting locally burned CD/DVDs, but works fine with Genuine discs.

    I'm using Dell Inspiron 1420 - 32 Bit - Windows Vista, since 2.5 years. I'm facing a strange problem with my CD/DVD-drive. I cannot run/play a CD/DVD which I get burned from my friends. But when I insert Genuine CD, I'm able to play/run it. And when I try to install my Vista package which I got with my notebook, the CD/DVD gets loaded. If I insert a CD/DVD which I get from my friend, CD doesn't get loaded and the system gets hanged. But all these CDs/DVDs work on other systems. I've tested it on many of my friends PCs. So, now I'm able to run only genuine CDs & a few genuine DVDs. My Experience/Experiments: I tried to install Windows Vista using Genuine DVD - It worked I tried to install Ubuntu which I got from shipped from Canonical Ltd. - It worked I tried to install OpenSUSE .iso file burned to a DVD in my friend's PC - It didn't work for me (But working perfectly fine in my friends PCs(Tested in 4 other PCs) Tried to play a DVD containing movies, burned in my friend's PC - It didn't work for me (But working perfectly fine in my friends PCs Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.     Working on Vista & Window 7, I use Winamp 5.57 for listening to mp3 and VLC player for watching movies. I made those two as my default players for corresponding media respectively. But when I launch winamp for playing mp3, some of the video files( like .flv, etc.,) automatically get changed the file opening mode to winamp player. This happens every time even if I set it back to 'default program'. Can someone please help me out.

    ? In my office, the network admin has restricted the download limit to a size of 1.8MB for any file. This is for sub ordinates accounts only. But for my manager's PC, there are no restrictions. Is there any way to download files from my PC by using my managers' ip address. I just tried using his ip on my pc but, had the same problem. ? Earlier I was given access to our Linux server from my pc using putty. Then I used to download large files on to the server and then transfer from server to my machine using fire ftp. This transfer worked perfectly fine. But, now I don't have any access to the server. So can I be able to download large files using fire ftp from my own PC ? I'm using Windows XP machine. Please suggest a solution by any possible combination. Thanks.

  • Problem with default File opening programs

    Working on Vista & Window 7, I use Winamp 5.57 for listening to mp3 and VLC player for watching movies. I made those two as my default players for corresponding media respectively. But when I launch winamp for playing mp3, some of the video files( like .flv, etc.,) automatically get changed the file opening mode to winamp player. This happens every time even if I set it back to 'default program'. Can someone please help me out.

  • Internet Connection Dying after some time

    I'm using BSNL 3G USB Datacard(BSNL is a ISP in India). After connecting to internet, while browsing in browser, the connection is dying. So after disconnecting & connecting back, it works proper for some time & the same problem repeats. But if I'm downloading any movie or some file through uTorrent, the connection is not dying. I'm experiencing this problem in Vista & also in Ubuntu. Help me with this please. Thank you.
