NSTableView don't display data

HI, I have data in NSMutableArray and I want to display it in NSTableView, but only the number of cols has changed. Android: Speeding up display of (html-formatted) text

My app uses a StringBuilder to assemble paragraphs of text which are then displayed in a TextView within a ScrollView. The displaytext.xml layout file is: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <LinearLayout android:id="@+id/LinearLayout01" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:background="#FFFFFF" xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"> <ScrollView android:id="@+id/ScrollView01" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" > <TextView xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:id="@+id/display_text" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:textColor="#000000" > </TextView> </ScrollView> </LinearLayout> and the code that displays the StringBuilder object sbText is setContentView(R.layout.displaytext); TextView tv = (TextView)findViewById(R.id.display_text); tv.setText(Html.fromHtml(sbText.toString())); This works OK, except that it gets very slow as the amount of text grows. For example, to display 50 paragraphs totalling about 50KB of text takes over 5 seconds just to execute those three lines of code. Can anyone suggest how I can speed this up, please?

suppress error using fread()

I wrote a script for screen pops from our soft phone that locates a directory listing for the caller but occasionally they get "Can't read input stream" and the rest of the script quits. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to suppress error the error message and allow the rest of the script to run? Dom Traversal to Automate Keyboard Focus - Spatial Navigation

I'm going to start with a little background that will hopefully help my question make more sense. I am developing an application for a television. The concept is simple and basically works by overlaying a browser over the video plane of the TV. Now being a TV, there is no mouse or additional pointing device. All interaction is done through a remote control. Therefore, the user needs to be able to visually tell which element they are currently focused upon. To indicate that an element is focused, I currently append a colored transparent image over the element to indicate focus. Now, when a user hits the arrow keys, I need to respond by focusing on the correct elements according to the key pressed. So, if the down arrow is pressed I need to focus on the next focusable element in the DOM tree (which may be a child or sibling), and if they hit the up arrow, I need to respond to the previous element. This would essentially simulate spatial navigation within a browser. I am currently setting an attribute (focusable=true) on any DOM elements that should be able to receive focus. What I would like to do is determine the previous or next focusable element (i.e. attribute focusable=true) and apply focus to the element. I was hoping to traverse the DOM tree to determine the next and previously focusable elements, but I am not sure how to perform this in JQuery, or in general. I was leaning towards trying to use the JQuery tree travesal methods like next(), prev(), etc. What approach would you take to solve this type of issue? Thanks

Finding the unique paths through a Neo4j graph

I have a Neo4j graph with 12 inputs and 4 outputs, and am trying to write a query with the Java Traverser that will return the 14 unique paths from an input to an output node. All the queries I have tried return only a subset of the 14 paths. For example, the code below returns 4 paths, but the other 10 all stop 1 node short of the output. RelationshipType relType = RelationshipTypes.EDGE; TraversalDescription td = new TraversalDescriptionImpl() .depthFirst() .relationships(relType, Direction.OUTGOING); for (Node node : inputs){ Traverser tv = td.traverse(node); Iterator<Path> iter = tv.iterator(); // ... print path } I've tried uniqueness and depth settings as well, with no effect. The query below returns all 14 paths using the web interface, but when I use the ExecutionEngine class, I only get 13 paths back. Some PDF files produce garbage ("mojibake") when you copy text. This makes it impossible to search them (whatever you search for will not match the garbage). Does anyone have an easy workaround? An example: TEAC TV manual EU2816STF BTW: I am using Adobe Reader - perhaps an alternative viewer might help?

connecting two routers

I have two routers, both wireless, that i wish to connect together. As it stands Router A is connected via a micro filter into the phone line which i access the web wirelessly. What I want to achieve is to connect Router B to A so I can hardwire My TV and Sky (cable) Box into B and simultaneously browse the web wirelessly via router A. Is this possible? If so I'd appreciate the help on this one to save me running 50ft cable under the carpet!!! PS I'm using Mac OS.

Dual monitors and flash movie to stay maximized on one of them.

I have recently assembled a dual monitor setup. I often watch live.twit.tv in my browser and I would like to run it maximized while I do other stuff on second screen, but when I click on a desktop the full screen mode rolls back to normal view. The same case is for different Flash players and I believe Silverlight players suffer from the same problem. Is there any way to bypass this behavior?

Does Windows 7 RC handle non Windows Media Center remotes yet?

I'm mostly a Linux geek, but while I will be trying to make my first Arch Linux installation in a virtual machine to learn and make my installation script for the true install, I need a simple OS and Windows 7 was better than Windows XP Media Center cause Media Center is outdated on XP. I tested it has a beta but my Hauppauge wintv-pvr usb2 remote wasn't working but the tv-tuner worked well and I haven't tested Windows XP Mode and my printer Epson Stylus Photo R300. Do someone know this hardware and if the XP Mode is easily supported?
