  • Error in Word 2007 page setup

    I am not sure what the issue may be, but I am getting a weird error in Word 2007 (running on Win7 pro x86). When I click the page setup button (or try and chnage one of the page formatiing button like orientation) the program stops responding and crashes on me. This is really getting annoying. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Now you have to click in the right place to start typing, which is annoying... Is the some special markup that would allow me to set a default caret position?   • Preventing some apps from appearing on the start menu on vista

    Vista start menu shows your most frequently used apps, which is great, I love it. However, there are some apps which I use frequently through shell or such, that I do not want to appear on that menu. Winrar, Media Player Classic, Infranview... I can right click on it to remove it, but it'll return to the menu shortly, how can I set it so that those apps never appear on the start menu. Thanks.

    I have set the Mail app from Microsoft (WinRT) as the default application for mail in Default Programs. However, when I right-click on a file, and select Send to Mail recipient I get a message box saying:There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel. Is there a way to get this action working with Mail?

In order to see the preview please visit chrome//plugins/, enable the Chrome PDF Viewer, and try again. When I check my plugins, I find that Chrome PDF Viewer is already enabled. Why can't I print?

  • How do I create a bridged virtual network for libvirt+KVM+ubuntu-server the easy way?

    I see lots of documentation on how to manually set up a network bridge and then manually add vm's tun devices to these bridges and then write a shell script that glues it all together. lots of work, very manual, and not impressive. On the other hand if you want to use NAT to KVM+libvirt VMs to the network you just click the new network button in the virt-manager gui and relax. Am I missing "the easy way" of causing a VM to share the physical network with the host?

We are sorry for the inconvenience. Not a big deal, I can click "Don't Send Error Report" all day. But what's going on, here? Is this a service that I need?   • Connecting with SMB from Mac to Windows server

    I'm trying to connect from my Mac to a directory on a Windows server. Here is what I'm doing from the finder : menu Go->connect to server->smb://srv-fichiers1/Personnel/conujer I get an error (error code -36). But, from the finder window, if I click on Shared->All->srv-fichier1->Personnel->conujer, I have access to the directory. I don't understand why I cannot connect straight to conujer.

    I'm on a laptop without a mouse. This means I don't have the middle mouse button/wheel. I tried to use ahk to make my numpad act like a mouse wheel with the middle mouse button. Numpad8::WheelUp Numpad2::WheelDown Numpad5::MButton The problem is that it scrolls up/down 2 times (when I click and release the button). How do I make the wheel scroll only once when I hit the button and not again after releasing it?

  • KeePass does not offer `Open with Google Chrome`

    I'm using KeePass and Google Chrome (not plug-ins) for quite some time. I have reinstalled my operating system (Windows 7) and both KeePass and Google Chrome and since then, when I right-click an entry and chose URL I don't have the Open with Google Chrome option - only internet explorer is available. Seems like KeePass did not recognize Chrome - any idea how to fix it? I re-installed KeePass but did not reinstall Chrome yet.

This doesn't exist so I'm wanting to create a simple Automator script to do that. But, I'm running into a few problems.     I have configured an outgoing and incoming mail box settings in vtiger 5.04. I created a new marketing campain, added a contanct (lead) to it and try to send e-mail to that contact. When I click "send" I get: Please check the current user mailid. It should be a valid mailid to send Emails". But I configured everything!
