    I'm getting the following error when trying to deploy a ZIP file to a remote FTP server. I tried connecting to the server using an FTP client (filezilla) and all goes well. Also, when connecting to a public ftp like ftp.belnet.be connections work fine. I'm trying to send the file to a VSFTPD server behind a router using port forwarding. Again, this works fine from any location using Filezilla, phing is not connecting though...   • Problem with Gregorian Calendar hour of day in java

    hi, I'm using a Gregorian Calendar to set a specific date and time to an application using the set function of the Gregorian Calendar. When i use the getTime() method, it gives me the right output however when i try to access the Hour_Of_Day and Minute it gives a wrong number. Calendar time = new GregorianCalendar(); time.set(2010, Calendar.JANUARY, 1, 7, 20,0); hour = time.HOUR_OF_DAY; minute = time.MINUTE; The hour gives an output of 11 and the minute gives an a value of 12. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks

    I am trying to store a set of values in delphi, but i want to be able to address them using their name, instead of an assigned number. For example, an array of 'OldValues' would let me do OldValue[1] := InflationEdit.Text; Ideally however, i would like to have a value stored in 'Data.Inflation.OldValue' for example. For each identifier, such as Inflation, there is an OldValue, NewValue and StoredValue. There are about 12 of these identifiers. Is there some way i could store the values like this? that way i could then do something like: Data.Inflation.NewValue := Data.Inflation.OldValue; Data.Inflation.NewValue := InflationEdit.Text;

  • Windows periodically disconnects, reconnects to the network

    My setup: I have a PC with a Gigabyte GA-MA78S2H motherboard (Realtek Gigabit wired Ethernet on-board). I have the latest drivers (at least the latest driver for the NIC. I'm connecting via an Edimax BR-6216Mg (again, wired connection). For some reason I experience short periodic disconnects and reconnects. Specifically, Skype disconnects, tries to connect, succeeds after a short while; incoming SFTP sessions get dropped; using a browser, I sometime get stuck in the DNS lookup or connection to the website and a page won't load. A couple of seconds later, a reload works. All this happens with Windows XP SP3. With Windows 7, it also happens. I installed another NIC, and tried switching to it - same effect with the on-board NIC. A while back I tried another router (although it was an Edimax model) - same problem. Connected the computer directly, with no router. Same problem. ping -t to the router (192.168.0.254) gives pongs, nothing is lost, and time is < 1 ms almost always (sometimes it says 1 or 2 ms). This is the case also during the disconnects.

    I'm using php gd lib 5.2.13 and tried to make a picture with imagettftext ($image, $color and $font are defined of course). imagettftext($image, 12, 90, 10, 20, $black, $font, "This.is_a test 123"); //image, font size, angle, x value, y value, color, font, text As you can see I want the angle to be 90°. The problem is that the text is not beeing rotated properly, e.g. the dots are at the top (and not at the bottom) of the text. I read that this is a common issue and has been fixed in php gdlib 5.3, But since I have 5.2.13 running on a webhost (...) is there a solution to rotate it properly with using gdlib 5.2.13? Thanks!

    The following code works when invoking through the command line with php -f test.php, from root. It does not work though when being invoked via apache when loading the php page. The code chokes at fopen() and the resulting web page just says "can't open file". <?php $fp = fopen("/path/to/some_file.txt","a") or die("can't open file"); fwrite($fp,"some text"); fclose($fp); ?> I tried to play with the file permissions, but to no avail. I changed the user/group with chown apache:apache test.php and changed permissions with chmod 755 test.php.   • Using makecert for Development SSL

    Here's my situation: I'm trying to create a SSL certificate that will be installed on all developer's machine's, along with two internal servers (everything is non-production). What do I need to do to create a certificate that can be installed in all of these places? Right now I've got something along these lines, using the makecert application in Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\Bin: makecert -r -pe -n "CN=MySite.com Dev" -b 01/01/2000 -e 01/01/2033 -eku 1.3.6.1.5.5.7.3.1 -ss Root -sr localMachine -sky exchange -sp "Microsoft RSA SChannel Cryptographic Provider" -sy 12 mycert.cer However, I'm not sure as to how to place this .cer file on the other computers, and when I install it on my local machine IIS, everytime I visit a page via https:, I get the security prompt (even after I've installed the certificate). Has anyone done this before?

For formatting a date using date filter you must use the following format : {{ my_date|date:"Y-m-d" }} If you use strftime from the standard datetime, you have to use the following : my_date.strftime("%Y-%m-%d") So my question is ... isn't it ugly (I guess it is because of the % that is used also for tags, and therefore is escaped or something) ? But that's not the main question ... I would like to use the same DATE_FORMAT parametrized in settings.py all over the project, but it therefore seems that I cannot ! Is there a work around (for example a filter that removes the % after the date has been formatted like {{ my_date|date|dream_filter }}, because if I just use DATE_FORMAT = "%Y-%m-%d" I got something like %2001-%6-%12)?

  • jerky scrolling in NSTableView

    Hello All, I have a NSTableView with around 70 - 80 rows, each row contain a checkbox, title text and a drop down menu to select data. The problem i am facing is that when i scroll the table it does not scroll smooth. When i remove the NSComboBoxCell it works ok.     Hello. I would like to know if after calling functions the data I have in the stack is persistent. Like, I would like to know if (assuming cdecl convention) can I do this (independently of function X and independently of optimizations): push 1 push 2 push 3 call X call X call X add 12 esp ? Also, let's say that before the calls I save the address of where the pushed values are in a global variable. Can I, inside X, alter the values it contain by acessing the global variable? Like, for some reason I want that in X I'm able to alter the values in stack so that the second and third call to X receive different values.

  • Python GUI Scraper hanging issues.

    I wrote a scraper using python a while back, and it worked fine in the command line. I have made a GUI for the application now, but I am having trouble with one issue. When I attempt to update text inside the gui (e.g. 'fetching URL 12/50'), I am unable seeing as the function within the scraper is grabbing 100+ links. Also when going from one scraping function, to a function that should update the gui, to another function, the gui update function seems to be skipped over while the next scrape function is run. An example would be: scrapeLinksA() #takes 20 seconds updateInfo("LinksA done") scrapeLinksB() #takes another 20 seconds in the above example, updateInfo is never executed, unless I end the program with a KeyboardInterrupt. I'm thinking my solution is threading, but I'm not sure. What can I do to fix this? I am using: PyQt4 urllib2 BeautifulSoup
