In the declaration of the UserView's xaml, I want to bind a couple of TextBlocks to the first and last name properties. What is the correct way to do this? Should I have readonly DependencyProperties for the name fields, and when the dependency property User is set, update them? Can the name fields be regular C# properties instead?   Running the following query (SQL Server 2000) the execution plan shows that it used an index seek and Profiler shows it's doing 71 reads with a duration of 0. select top 1 id from table where name = '0010000546163' order by id desc Contrast that with the following with uses an index scan with 8500 reads and a duration of about a second. declare @p varchar(20) select @p = '0010000546163' select top 1 id from table where name = @p order by id desc Why is the execution plan different?   Is there an easy way to make Struts 2 action names case insensitive? Currently I have the following action defined: <action name="printTest" class="MyClass" > <result name="error">/WEB-INF/jsp/error.jsp</result> <result name="input">/WEB-INF/jsp/test.jsp</result> <result name="success">/WEB-INF/jsp/test.jsp</result> </action> If the user types URL "/app/printtest.do" instead of "/app/printtest.do" this action is not executed. Other then mod_rewrite on the httpd level or something like that, the only option that I know about right now is simply adding the same exact action and changing the name to "printtest". Ideally it would be a simple config change to struts.xml

  In window, i can get the date created of the video from properties(right click). I have a few idea on this but i dont know how to do it. 1. Get the video information directly from video(like in windows), 2. By extracting the video name to get the date created(The video's name is in date format, which is the time it created). And i also using taglib-sharp to get the video duration and resolution, but i cant find any sample code on how to get the video creation date. Any suggestion..........
