• Syntax highlight in java for android

  I want to build an notepad-style application on android that will have syntax highlighting. But when I search around the web, I find the syntax highlighting can be done only through use of an awt class. How could I syntax highlight in maybe a custom EditText or TextView view? I know that the release of a syntax highlighter is sort of anticipated, so I want to add my syntax highlighter on the market.

• Asp.net MVC and MOSS 2010 integration

  Just a sidenote: I'm not sure whether I should post this to serverfault as well, because some MOSS admin may have some info for me as well? A bit of explanation first (without Asp.net MVC) Is it possible to integrate the two? Is it possible to write an application that would share at least credential information with MOSS? I have to write a MOSS application that has to do with these technologies: MOSS 2010 Personal client certificates authentication (most probably on USB keys) Active Directory Federation Services Separate SQL DB that would serve application specific data (separate as not being part of MOSS DB) How should it work? Users should authenticate using personal certificates into MOSS 2010 There would be a certain part of MOSS that would be related to my custom application This application should only authorize certain users via AD FS - I guess these users should have a certain security claim attached to them This application should manage users (that have access to this app) with additional (app specific) security claims related to this application (as additional application level authorization rights for individual application parts) This application should use custom SQL 2008 DB heavily with its own data This application should have the possibility to integrate with external systems as well (Exchange for instance to inject calendar entries, ERP systems etc) This application should be able to export its data (from its DB) to files. I don't know if it's possible, but it would be nice if the app could add these files to MOSS and attach authorization info to them so only users with sufficient rights would be able to view/open these files. Why Asp.net MVC then? I'm very well versed in Asp.net MVC (also with the latest version) and I haven't done anything on Sharepoint since version 2003 (which doesn't do me no good or prepare me for the latest version in any way shape or form). This project will most probably be a death march project so I would rather write my application as a UI rich Asp.net MVC application and somehow integrate it into MOSS. But not only via a link, because I would like to at least share credentials, so users wouldn't need to re-login when accessing my app. Using Asp.net MVC I would at least have the possibility to finish on time or be less death marching. Is this at all possible? Questions Is it possible to integrate Asp.net MVC into MOSS as described above? If integration is not possible, would it be possible to create a completely MOSS based application that would work as described? Which parts of MOSS 2010 should I use to accomplish what I need?

• Does webkit-scrollbar work with webkit-transition?

  Is there a way to protect your images from being copied, specifically their URL's. So that if someone were to try right click the image and copy the URL I could pop up an embed box, or perhaps specify my own particular copy code so that I dictate the terms of the copy? • Minimum permission required to access Site Columns page and edit site columns

  We've started to adopt SharePoint 2010, and are starting to manually migrate content from SharePoint 2007 sites to new sites we're rebuilding from scratch in SP2010. One of the things we previously had supported was to delegate responsibility for managing some of our site columns to a member of the team. The team member is not familiar with SharePoint internals, and doesn't want the responsibility of full permissions to the site and all its objects. We're now trying to figure out what the minimum permission is that we need to grant our team member, so they can continue to edit (& propagate) the content of the site columns we've defined. Permissions he currently has (which are obviously insufficient): Site permissions (according to _layouts/user.aspx): Read, Contribute, Manage Lists Permissions for specific objects in the site (according to _layouts/people.aspxMembershipGroupId=xxx, then choosing Settings, View Group Permissions): server/sites/[sitename]: Contribute server/sites/[sitename]/Lists/[a list with columns that inherit from site columns]: "Contribute No Delete" Note: the "Contribute No Delete" permission is a custom permission I designed by copying the SharePoint-native "Contribute" permission set and deselecting the Delete permission. The "Manage Lists" permission is a custom permission I designed that includes the following specific permissions: (List Permissions) Manage Lists, View Items; (Site Permissions) View Pages, Open. Operations that are throwing access denied errors: _layouts/mngfield.aspx: SharePoint returns the "Error: Access Denied" dialog, and provides three clickable options: "Sign in as a different user", "Request access", and "Go back to site" _layouts/fldedit.aspx?field=Level%5Fx0020%5F3 [one of the site columns we've defined]: can load the page and type in changes to the textboxes "...but when I press OK (save changes) I get the same message above." When our team member clicks the "Request access" link, the email I receive sends me to a page that recommends that I grant the user membership in the "[sitename] Users" group - of which he's already a member. So while SP2010 tries to request access, it doesn't actually direct me to either (a) a valid group that has the correct permissions or (b) the specific object to which I need to grant our team member access. Also note: on the SP2007 (MOSS) site (where our team member was successful in managing Site Column edits), they had dozens of additional permissions throughout the site that we do not wish to blindly re-allocate in SP2010 until we know they're necessary. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

  I have written an O/R database wrapper that generates some wrapper methods for stored procs it reads from the database. Now I need to produce some custom wrapper code if an input parameter of a stored proc is defaulted to NULL. The problem is - I get stored proc parameters using: SqlCommandBuilder.DeriveParameters(command) and it doesn't bring parameter defaults. Is there any way to look up those defaults? Are they stored anywhere in the database? BTW, I'm using SQL Server 2008

Now, I needed to encrypt some fields in the properties file. • WPF customer control and direct content support

  I am fairly new to WPF, and am a bit stuck, so any help would be appreciated. I am trying to write WPF custom control that encapsulates several elements of functionality that I already having working (i.e sorting, filtering, standard menus, etc.), but in a nice neat package to avoid repetition. Anyway I have created the custom control (based on control), and then have the following in the Generic.Xaml <ResourceDictionary xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:local="clr-namespace:Controls.ListViewExtended"> <Style TargetType="{x:Type local:ListViewExtended}"> <Setter Property="Template"> <Setter.Value> <ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type local:ListViewExtended}"> <Border Background="{TemplateBinding Background}" BorderBrush="{TemplateBinding BorderBrush}" BorderThickness="{TemplateBinding BorderThickness}"> <ListView> <ListView.View> <GridView> <!-- Content goes here --> </GridView> </ListView.View> </ListView> </Border> </ControlTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> </ResourceDictionary> When I try to add GridViewColumns (or any control really), as below ... <elv:ListViewExtended> <GridView> <GridViewColumn Width="140" Header="Column 1" /> <GridViewColumn Width="140" Header="Column 2" /> <GridViewColumn Width="140" Header="Column 3" /> </GridView> </elv:ListViewExtended> I get the "... does not support direct content" error. I have created a dependancy property (again below) that allows the adding of GridView, but it still doesn't work. public static DependencyProperty GridViewProperty; public static string GridViewHeader(DependencyObject target) { return (string)target.GetValue(GridViewProperty); } public static void GridViewHeader(DependencyObject target, string value) { target.SetValue(GridViewProperty, value); } Thanks in advance
