  • PHP Session / Array Problem accesing

    - by Chris
    Hello, I have a form that certain data, which then gets calculated and gets displayed in a table. All the data gets saved in a 2 dimensional array. Every time i go back to the form the new data gets saved in the array. That data will be displayed in the next table row and so on. I have used print_r($_Session) and everything gets properly saved in the array. Although i have no idea how to acces the session variables area, floor, phone, network etc wich are now in the array. Without arrays i stored them in a variable for example $phone , and did calculations with it. But now when i use the arrays, i keep on getting undefined index phone etc... How can i acces these variables, been looking at this for hours without getting any closer to a solution. Any help much appreciated. Regards. First page: if (empty ($ _POST)) ( Mode = $ name $ _POST ['state name']; $ Area = $ _POST ['size']; $ Floor = isset ($ _POST ['floor'])? $ _POST ['Floor'] 0, / / if checkbox checked value 1 else 0 $ Phone = isset ($ _POST ['phone'])? $ _POST ['Phone']: 0; $ Network = isset ($ _POST ['network'])? $ _POST ['Network']: 0; / / Control surface if (is_numeric ($ area)) / / OK ( if (isset ($ _SESSION ['table'])) ( / / Create a new row to the existing session table $ Table = $ _SESSION ['table']; $ Number = count ($ table); $ Table [$ count] [0] = $ file name; $ Table [$ count] [1] = $ size; $ Table [$ count] [2] = $ floor; $ Table [$ count] [3] = $ phone; $ Table [$ count] [4] = $ network; $ _SESSION ['Table'] = $ table; ) else ( / / Create the session table $ Table [0] [0] = $ file name; $ Table [0] [1] = $ size; $ Table [0] [2] = $ floor; $ Table [0] [3] = $ phone; $ Table [0], [4] $ = network; $ _SESSION ['Table'] = $ table; ) header ("Location: ExpoOverzicht.php"); ) else ( echo "<h1> surface Wrong - New try </ h1>"; ) ) When i made the php code withotu the arrays i declared like this, and it worked fine. But now there in the array, and i have no idea how to "acces them" $standnaam = $_SESSION["standnaam"]; $oppervlakte = $_SESSION["oppervlakte"]; $verdieping = $_SESSION["verdieping"]; $telefoon = $_SESSION["telefoon"]; $netwerk = $_SESSION["netwerk"];

  • I would like to run my Java program on System Startup on Mac OS/Windows. How can I do this?

    Here is what I came up with. It works but I was wondering if there is something more elegant. Thank you! • How to localize numerals?

    - by SoLoGHoST
    Ok, I'm using mathematical equations to output numbers, though, I need this to be compatible for all languages. Currently, all language strings are within a php array called $txt, and each key of the array gets called for that language. I'm outputting the following: Column 1, Column 2, Column 3, and so on, as well as Row 1, Row 2, Row 3, and so on. The calculations are done via php and javascript, so I'm wondering on the best approach for how to support all languages for the numbers only. I don't do the translations, someone else does, but I need to be able to point it to, either the php variable $txt of where the language is defined, or, since the calculations are done via javascript also, I need to somehow store this in there. I'm thinking of storing something like this: // This part goes in the php language file. $txt['0'] = '0'; $txt['1'] = '1'; $txt['2'] = '2'; $txt['2'] = '3'; $txt['4'] = '4'; $txt['5'] = '5'; $txt['6'] = '6'; $txt['7'] = '7'; $txt['8'] = '8'; $txt['9'] = '9'; // This part goes in the php file that needs to call the numbers. echo '<script> var numtxts = new Array(); numtxts[0] = \'', $txt['0'], '\'; numtxts[1] = \'', $txt['1'], '\'; numtxts[2] = \'', $txt['2'], '\'; numtxts[3] = \'', $txt['3'], '\'; numtxts[4] = \'', $txt['4'], '\'; numtxts[5] = \'', $txt['5'], '\'; numtxts[6] = \'', $txt['6'], '\'; numtxts[7] = \'', $txt['7'], '\'; numtxts[8] = \'', $txt['8'], '\'; numtxts[9] = \'', $txt['9'], '\'; </script>'; And than in the javascript function it could grab the correct string for each number like so: // Example Number String below. var numString = "10"; var transNum = ""; for(x=0;x<numString.length;x++) { var numChar = numString.charAt(x); transNum += numtxts[parseInt(numChar)]; } return transNum; The problem with this bit of code is that it groups the numbers, not sure if all languages do that, like the english language does...? Perhaps there's a better approach for this? Can anyone help please? Thanks :)

  • Get with the ajax data into a php file

    - by Max Torstensson
    I'm trying to build a login system with ajax and php. I use a log-view where I then save the data in ajax which brings into my doLogin.php (php file). My problem is that php file should never be any ajax data for when I build it into a class and a function VIEW: public function DoLoginBox() { //inloggning form-tagg... return '<p>&nbsp;</p> <div id="content"> <h1>Login Form</h1> <form id="form1" name="form1" action="Handler/doLogin.php" method="post"> <p> <label for="username">Username: </label> <input type="text" name="username" id="username" /> </p> <p> <label for="password">Password: </label> <input type="password" name="password" id="password" /> </p> <p> <input type="submit" id="login" name="login" /> </p> </form> <div id="message"></div> </div>'; } AJAX: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $("#login").click(function() { var action = $("#form1").attr('action'); var form_data = { username: $("#username").val(), password: $("#password").val(), is_ajax: 1 }; $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: action, data: form_data, success: function(response) { if(response == 'success') $("#form1").slideUp('slow', function() { $("#message").html("<p class='success'>You have logged in successfully!</p>"); }); else $("#message").html("<p class='error'>Invalid username and/or password.</p>"); } }); return false; }); }); </script PHP: <?php require_once ("UserHandler.php"); class DoLogingHandler{ public function Login (){ $is_ajax = !empty($_REQUEST['is_ajax']); if(isset($is_ajax) && $is_ajax) { $username = $_REQUEST['username']; $password = $_REQUEST['password']; $UserHandler = new UserHandler(); $UserHandler -> controllDB($username,$password); if($username == 'demo' && $password == 'demo') { echo "success"; } } } } ` $DoLogingHandler = new DoLogingHandler(); $DoLogingHandler-Login(); ?

  • IE not showing jquery append() images

    - by Johannes Ruuska
    Ok, so i took John Raasch's slideshow script and modyfied it too dynamicly fetch images from folders on the server through ajax. The slideshow work like a charm in FF and Chrome but IE is not showing the images. And since IE's javascript debugging possibilities is close to none I cant figure out what is crashing. Javascript (indenting got messed up when pasting here but you get the code anyway): function slideSwitch() { var $active = $('#box_bildspel IMG.active'); if ( $active.length == 0 ) $active = $('#box_bildspel IMG:last'); var $next = $active.next().length ? $active.next() : $('#box_bildspel IMG:first'); $active.addClass('last-active'); $next.css({opacity: 0.0}) .addClass('active') .animate({opacity: 1.0}, 1000, function() { $active.removeClass('active last-active'); }); } $(document).ready(function(){ $.get('includes/bildspel.php?page='+page, function(r){ var file = r.split('!'); var path = 'pic/bildspel/'+page+'/'; var data = ''; if(file != null && file != ''){ $.each(file, function(key, value){ if(key == 0) { $('#box_bildspel').append('<img src="'+path+value+'" class="active"></img>'); //console.log(path+value); } else { $('#box_bildspel').append('<img src="'+path+value+'"></img>'); //console.log(path+value); } }); } if(file.length > 1){ $(function() { setInterval( "slideSwitch()", 4000 ); }); } }); }); PHP: <?php function getimgs($page) { $path = '../pic/bildspel/'.$page; $files = ''; if ($handle = opendir($path)) { while (false !== ($file = readdir($handle))) { if ($file !== '.' && $file !== '..') { $files .= $file.'!'; } } closedir($handle); echo substr_replace($files ,"",-1);; } } getimgs($_GET['page']); ?> Tested in IE 7 & 8 Any ideas? I have a deadline on this site for tomorrow (april 23) would appreciate VERY much if someone could figure this on out for me, thanks in advance!

  • Hoe to convert a JSON array of paths to images stored on a server into a javaScript array to display them? Using AJAX

    - by MichaelF
    I need for html file/ ajax code to take the JSON message and store the PATHS as a javaScript array. Then my buildImage function can display the first image in the array. I'm new to AJAX and believe my misunderstanding lies within the converting of the JSON to Javascript. I'm confused also about if my code creates a JSON array or object or either. I might need also to download a library to my app to understand JSON? Below is a PHP file loading the paths of the images. I believe json ecode is converting the PHP Array in a Json message. <?php include("mysqlconnect.php"); $select_query = "SELECT `ImagesPath` FROM `offerstbl` ORDER by `ImagesId` DESC"; $sql = mysql_query($select_query) or die(mysql_error()); $data = array(); while($row = mysql_fetch_array($sql,MYSQL_BOTH)){ $data[] = $row['ImagesPath']; } echo $images = json_encode($data); ?> Below is the script in is going to be loaded on an Cordova app. <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/styles.css"> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/cascading.css"> <script> function importJson(str) { // console.log(typeof xmlhttp.responseText); if (str=="") { document.getElementById("content").innerHTML=""; return; } if (window.XMLHttpRequest) { // code for IE7+, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari xmlhttp=new XMLHttpRequest(); } else { // code for IE6, IE5 xmlhttp=new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"); } xmlhttp.onreadystatechange=function() { if (xmlhttp.readyState==4) { //var images = JSON.parse(xmlhttp.responseText); document.getElementById("content").innerHTML=xmlhttp.responseText; } } xmlhttp.open("GET","http://server/content.php"); xmlhttp.send(); } function buildImage(src) { var img = document.createElement('img') img.src = src alert("1"); document.getElementById('content').appendChild(img); } for (var i = 0; i < images.length; i++) { buildImage(images[i]); } </script> </head> <body onload= "importJson();"> <div class="contents" id="content" ></div> <img src="img/logo.png" height="10px" width="10px" onload= "buildImage();"> </body>

  • Form value field is visable in localhost but not on live site-how to hide?

    - by Joel
    Hi guys, I'm almost completed moving my first live site to my new xampp setup on localhost. I have a form that uses jquery in the header of the site. It's a bit verbose, but here it is: <div class="outeremailcontainer"> <div id="emailcontainer"> <?php include('verify.php'); ?> <form action="index_success.php" method="post" id="sendEmail" class="email"> <h3 class="register2">Newsletter Signup:</h3> <ul class="forms email"> <li class="name"><label for="yourName">Name: </label> <input type="text" name="yourName" class="info" id="yourName" value="<?= $_POST['yourName']; ?>" /><br /> </li> <li class="city"><label for="yourCity">City: </label> <input type="text" name="yourCity" class="info" id="yourCity" value="<?= $_POST['yourCity']; ?>" /><br /> </li> <li class="email"><label for="emailFrom">Email: </label> <input type="text" name="emailFrom" class="info" id="emailFrom" value="<?= $_POST['emailFrom']; ?>" /> <?php if(isset($emailFromError)) echo '<span class="error">'.$emailFromError.'</span>'; ?> </li> <li class="buttons email"> <button type="submit" id="submit">Send</button> <input type="hidden" name="submitted" id="submitted" value="true" /> </li> </ul> </form> <div class="clearing"> </div> </div> </div> So I am using jQuery (I can include the function if need-be) and it hides fields, etc. The problem is that on the localhost site, the values of the fields are populating the fields. IE: first field has this in the box, etc <?= $_POST['yourName']; ?> It works great in the live site though. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks!

A script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive." but in firefox it's functioning well.

  • PHP getting Twitter API JSON file contents without OAuth (Almost have it)

    - by DexCurl
    Hey guys, I have this script working fine with OAuth, but I accidentally nuked my 350 API hits with a stupid while statement :( I'm trying to get data from the Twitter API without OAuth, I can't figure it out (still pretty new), heres what I have <html> <body> <center> <hr /> <br /> <table border="1"> <tr><td>ScreenName</td><td>Followed back?</td></tr> <?php //twitter oauth deets $consumerKey = 'x'; $consumerSecret = 'x'; $oAuthToken = 'x'; $oAuthSecret = 'x'; // Create Twitter API objsect require_once("twitteroauth.php"); $oauth = new TwitterOAuth($consumerKey, $consumerSecret, $oAuthToken, $oAuthSecret); //get home timeline tweets and it is stored as an array $youfollow = $oauth->get('http://api.twitter.com/1/friends/ids.json?screen_name=lccountdown'); $i = 0; //start loop to print our results cutely in a table while ($i <= 20){ $youfollowid = $youfollow[$i]; $resolve = "http://api.twitter.com/1/friendships/exists.json?user_a=".$youfollow[$i]."&user_b=jwhelton"; $followbacktest = $oauth->get($resolve); //$homedate= $hometimeline[$i]->created_at; //$homescreenname = $hometimeline[$i]->user->screen_name; echo "<tr><td>".$youfollowid."</td><td>".$followbacktest."</td></tr>"; $i++; } ?> </table> </center> </body> </html> Neither of the two Twitter functions require authentication, so how can I get the same results? Thanks guys, Dex

  • Submitting form in php file accessed by Ajax?

    - by dronnoc
    Hi people, I am trying to figure out how to submit a form in a page being accessed by Ajax? here are some code snippets to help demonstrate what i am trying to say. HTML BODY - THIS IS WHAT THE USER WILL SEE. <html> <head> <script language="javascript" src="linktoajaxfile.js"> </head> <body onLoad="gotoPage(0)"> <div id="fillThis"> </div> </body> </html> AJAX FILE var xmlhttp function gotoPage(phase) { xmlhttp=GetXmlHttpObject(); if (xmlhttp==null) { alert ("Your browser does not support AJAX!"); return; } var url="pageofstuffce.php"; url=url+"?stg="+phase; url=url+"&sid="+Math.random(); xmlhttp.onreadystatechange=stateChanged; xmlhttp.open("GET",url,true); xmlhttp.send(null); } function stateChanged() { if (xmlhttp.readyState==4) { document.getElementById("fillThis").innerHTML=xmlhttp.responseText; } } function GetXmlHttpObject() { if (window.XMLHttpRequest) { // code for IE7+, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari return new XMLHttpRequest(); } if (window.ActiveXObject) { // code for IE6, IE5 return new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"); } return null; } PAGE OF DATA <?php $stage = $_GET['stg']; if($stage == 0) { echo '<a onClick="gotoPage(1)">click me</a>'; } elseif($stage == 1) { <form> <input type="text" name="name"> <input type="submit" name="submit"> </form> } elseif(somehow can reach here) { show data from form. } ?> Can anyone perhaps help me get past the form and display the data in the same page? Also, i have looked around, and i don't think anything around has what i need... correct me if i'm wrong though :) Thanks in advance, and i hope i didn't put in too much detail :) Dronnoc EDIT Forgot to mention what I've tried; I have tried submitting the form to itself (same file) and that destroyed the ajax link, and opened the page. i have also tried just having the button move the page onto another step, but the $_POST variable is empty... i am at a loss, so does anyone else have any ideas?

  • Converting my lightweight MySQL DB wrapper into MySQLi. Pesky Problems

    - by Chaplin
    Here is the original code: http://pastebin.com/DNxtmApY. I'm not that interested in prepared statements at the moment, I just want this wrapper updating to MySQLi so once MySQL becomes depreciated I haven't got to update a billion websites. Here is my attempt at converting to MySQLi. <? $database_host = "127.0.0.1"; $database_user = "user"; $database_pass = "pass"; $database_name = "name"; $db = new database($database_host, $database_user, $database_pass, $database_name); class database { var $link, $result; function database($host, $user, $pass, $db) { $this->link = mysqli_connect($host, $user, $pass, $db) or $this->error(); mysqli_select_db($db, $this->link) or $this->error(); } function query($query) { $this->result = mysqli_query($query, $this->link) or $this->error(); $this->_query_count++; return $this->result; } function countRows($result = "") { if ( empty( $result ) ) $result = $this->result; return mysqli_num_rows($result); } function fetch($result = "") { if ( empty( $result ) ) $result = $this->result; return mysqli_fetch_array($result); } function fetch_num($result = "") { if ( empty( $result ) ) $result = $this->result; return mysqli_fetch_array($result, mysqli_NUM); } function fetch_assoc($result = "") { if ( empty( $result ) ) $result = $this->result; return mysqli_fetch_array($result, mysqli_ASSOC); } function escape($str) { return mysqli_real_escape_string($str); } function error() { if ( $_GET["debug"] == 1 ){ die(mysqi_error()); } else { echo "Error in db code"; } } } function sanitize($data) { //apply stripslashes if magic_quotes_gpc is enabled if(get_magic_quotes_gpc()) $data = stripslashes($data); // a mysqli connection is required before using this function $data = trim(mysqli_real_escape_string($data)); return $data; } However it chucks all sorts of errors: Warning: mysql_query(): Access denied for user 'www-data'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /home/count/Workspace/lib/classes/user.php on line 7 Warning: mysql_query(): A link to the server could not be established in /home/count/Workspace/lib/classes/user.php on line 7 Warning: mysql_fetch_array() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/count/Workspace/lib/classes/user.php on line 8 Warning: mysqli_fetch_array() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli_result, object given in /home/count/Workspace/lib/classes/database.php on line 31

  • jQuery carousel click updates selected item in a select list?

    - by Scott B
    I'm trying to hook up the click event on a jQuery image carousel's images so that it updates a select list in the same document and sets the "selected" option to match the item that was clicked in the carousel. The "title" attribute on each of the carousel images matches at least one option in the select list (title is always unique). For example: 1) carousel image titles are: image1, image2, image3 <div id="carousel"> <ul> <li><img src='folder1/screenshot.jpg' title=image1 /></li> <li><img src='folder2/screenshot.jpg' title=image2 /></li> <li><img src='folder3/screenshot.jpg' title=image3 /></li> </ul> </div> 2) select list options are... <select id="myThumbs"> <option>image1</option> <option selected="selected">image2</option> <option>image3</option> </select> My existing code is below, which already binds the hover event to a preview div outside the carousel. I want to keep this behavior, and also add the click behavior to update the selected item in the options list so that it matches the title of the carousel image that was clicked. $(function() { $("#carousel").jCarouselLite({ btnNext: ".next", btnPrev: ".prev", visible: 6, mouseWheel: true, speed: 700 }); $('#carousel').show(); $('#myThumbs').change(function() { var myImage = $('#myThumbs :selected').text(); $('.selectedImage img').attr('src','../wp-content/themes/mytheme/styles/'+myImage+'/screenshot.jpg'); }); $('#carousel ul li').click(function(e) { var myOption = $(this).children('img').attr('title'); $('#myThumbs').addOption('Text', myOption); }); $('#carousel ul li').hover(function(e) { var img_src = $(this).children('img').attr('src'); $('.selectedImage img').attr('src',img_src); } ,function() { $('.selectedImage img').attr('src', '<?php echo $selectedThumb; ?>');}); });

  • Flex, continuous scanning stream (from socket). Did I miss something using yywrap()?

    - by Diederich Kroeske
    Working on a socketbased scanner (continuous stream) using Flex for pattern recognition. Flex doesn't find a match that overlaps 'array bounderies'. So I implemented yywrap() to setup new array content as soon yylex() detects < (it will call yywrap). No success so far. Basically (for pin-pointing my problem) this is my code: %{ #include <stdio.h> #include <string.h> #include <stdlib.h> #define BUFFERSIZE 26 /* 0123456789012345678901234 */ char cbuf1[BUFFERSIZE] = "Hello everybody, lex is su"; // Warning, no '\0' char cbuf2[BUFFERSIZE] = "per cool. Thanks! "; char recvBuffer[BUFFERSIZE]; int packetCnt = 0; YY_BUFFER_STATE bufferState1, bufferState2; %} %option nounput %option noinput %% "super" { ECHO; } . { printf( "%c", yytext[0] );} %% int yywrap() { int retval = 1; printf(">> yywrap()\n"); if( packetCnt <= 0 ) // Stop after 2 { // Copy cbuf2 into recvBuffer memcpy(recvBuffer, cbuf2, BUFFERSIZE); // yyrestart(NULL); // ?? has no effect // Feed new data to flex bufferState2 = yy_scan_bytes(recvBuffer, BUFFERSIZE); // packetCnt++; // Tell flex to resume scanning retval = 0; } return(retval); } int main(void) { printf("Lenght: %d\n", (int)sizeof(recvBuffer)) ; // Copy cbuf1 into recvBuffer memcpy(recvBuffer, cbuf1, BUFFERSIZE); // packetCnt = 0; // bufferState1 = yy_scan_bytes(recvBuffer, BUFFERSIZE); // yylex(); yy_delete_buffer(bufferState1); yy_delete_buffer(bufferState2); return 0; } This is my output: dkmbpro:test dkroeske$ ./text Lenght: 26 Hello everybody, lex is su>> yywrap() per cool. Thanks! >> yywrap() So no match on 'super'. According to the doc the lexxer is not 'reset' between yywrap's. What do I miss? Thanks.

  • Dealing with C++ web views

    - by Jeffrey
    I'm working, as an hobby (before any one rage out of their mind, I'm just trying to study C++ regarding something I love: web. I'm not trying to reinvent your precious wheel, and I'm not trying to create the new web technology. I just have the time to go for it.), creating a web CGI C++ library. I'm at a pretty good point, but in the future I see one big problem: views. I'm used to the great <body><?php echo "Hey!"; ?></body> embedded php, but there's no such thing in C++, so I'm wondering: How would you deal with views? Would you create a simple find-replace-variable templating system and deal with thousands of partial views? For example: View view; view.load("header.html"); view.load("nav.html"); view.load("post_start.html"); for (int i = 0; i < 10; i++) { std::map<std::string, std::string> post; Post p(i); post = p.get(); view.load(post_view.html, post); // p is passed as argument and every `{% varname %}` in the html will be replaced with its value inside the map } view.load(post_end.html); view.load(footer); Would you create a simple templating system? So that we can deal with this C++ code: std::vector<std::map<std::string, std::string>> posts; Posts p; posts = p.getAll(); view.load(posts.html, posts); and then this HTML/TPL: <html> ... <body> <h2> Posts </h2> {% for (i = 0; i < 10; i++): %} <div class="post">...</div> {% endfor %} </body> </html> Is there any other way? What is the best way to do this? (And no, I don't think this is subjective question)

The server side code is returning JSON Data to iphone, the server side code looks like: function getUsers(){ $con=mysql_connect("localhost","root","123456") or die(mysql_error()); if(!mysql_select_db("eventsfast",$con)) { echo "Unable to connect to DB"; exit; } $sql="SELECT * from users"; $result=mysql_query($sql); if(!$result) { die('Could not successfully run query Error:'.mysql_error()); } $data = array(); while($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)){ $data['username'][] = $row['username']; $data['password'][]= $row['password']; } mysql_close($con); //print_r(json_encode($data)); //return (json_encode($data)); return json_encode('success'); } getUsers(); ? Its a simple code that Fetches all the data from the user table and send it to the iphone application. *****************************************************IPHONE APPLICATION (void)viewDidLoad { [super viewDidLoad]; responseData = [[NSMutableData data] retain]; NSURLRequest *request = [NSURLRequest requestWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://localhost:8888/GetData.php"]]; [[NSURLConnection alloc] initWithRequest:request delegate:self]; } (void)connection:(NSURLConnection *)connection didReceiveResponse:(NSURLResponse *)response { [responseData setLength:0]; } (void)connection:(NSURLConnection *)connection didReceiveData:(NSData *)data { [responseData appendData:data]; } (void)connection:(NSURLConnection *)connection didFailWithError:(NSError *)error { label.text = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"Connection failed: %@", [error description]]; } (void)connectionDidFinishLoading:(NSURLConnection *)connection { [connection release]; NSString *responseString = [[NSString alloc] initWithData:responseData encoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]; [responseData release]; NSError *error; SBJSON *json = [[SBJSON new] autorelease]; NSArray *luckyNumbers = [json objectWithString:responseString error:&error]; [responseString release]; if (luckyNumbers == nil) label.text = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"JSON parsing failed: %@", [error localizedDescription]]; else { NSMutableString *text = [NSMutableString stringWithString:@"Lucky numbers:\n"]; for (int i = 0; i < [luckyNumbers count]; i++) [text appendFormat:@"%@\n", [luckyNumbers objectAtIndex:i]]; NSLog(text); label.text = text; } } ********************PROBLEM**************** The problem is that nothing is coming on iphone side of the application........... the response doesn't contains anything.............. How can I get it to assign the whole array. This is my code. $xml = simplexml_load_string(FlickrUtils::getMyPhotos("flickr.photos.search", $_SESSION['token'])); $photosArray = $xml->photos; //$photosArray = $xml->photos->photo; //echo gettype($photosArray); print_r($photosArray); This is the result of the print_r($photosArray); SimpleXMLElement Object ( [@attributes] = Array ( [page] = 1 [pages] = 1 [perpage] = 100 [total] = 4 ) [photo] => Array ( [0] => SimpleXMLElement Object ( [@attributes] => Array ( [id] => 5335626037 [owner] => 57991585@N02 [secret] => bd66f06b49 [server] => 5210 [farm] => 6 [title] => 1 [ispublic] => 1 [isfriend] => 0 [isfamily] => 0 ) ) [1] => SimpleXMLElement Object ( [@attributes] => Array ( [id] => 5336238676 [owner] => 57991585@N02 [secret] => 898dffa011 [server] => 5286 [farm] => 6 [title] => 2 [ispublic] => 1 [isfriend] => 0 [isfamily] => 0 ) ) [2] => SimpleXMLElement Object ( [@attributes] => Array ( [id] => 5335625381 [owner] => 57991585@N02 [secret] => 60a0c84597 [server] => 5126 [farm] => 6 [title] => 4 [ispublic] => 1 [isfriend] => 0 [isfamily] => 0 ) ) [3] => SimpleXMLElement Object ( [@attributes] => Array ( [id] => 5335625195 [owner] => 57991585@N02 [secret] => 49348c1e8b [server] => 5126 [farm] => 6 [title] => 3 [ispublic] => 1 [isfriend] => 0 [isfamily] => 0 ) ) ) ) Thanks for youe help!

  • Trying to pass variable from 1 Function to Another to Put in Array within same Model

    - by Jason Shultz
    Ok, that sounds really confusing. What I’m trying to do is this. I’ve got a function that uploads/resizes photos to the server. It stores the paths in the DB. I need to attach the id of the business to the row of photos. Here’s what I have so far: function get_bus_id() { $userid = $this->tank_auth->get_user_id(); $this->db->select('b.id'); $this->db->from ('business AS b'); $this->db->where ('b.userid', $userid); $query = $this->db->get(); if ($query->num_rows() > 0) { return $query->result_array(); } That get’s the id of the business. Then, I have my upload function which is below: /* Uploads images to the site and adds to the database. */ function do_upload() { $config = array( 'allowed_types' => 'jpg|jpeg|gif|png', 'upload_path' => $this->gallery_path, 'max_size' => 2000 ); $this->load->library('upload', $config); $this->upload->do_upload(); $image_data = $this->upload->data(); $config = array( 'source_image' => $image_data['full_path'], 'new_image' => $this->gallery_path . '/thumbs', 'maintain_ratio' => true, 'width' => 150, 'height' => 100 ); $this->load->library('image_lib', $config); $this->image_lib->resize(); $upload = $this->upload->data(); $bus_id = $this->get_bus_id(); $data = array( 'userid' => $this->tank_auth->get_user_id(), 'thumb' => $this->gallery_path . '/thumbs/' . $upload['file_name'], 'fullsize' => $upload['full_path'], 'busid'=> $bus_id['query'], ); echo var_dump($bus_id); $this->db->insert('photos', $data); } The problem I’m getting is the following: A PHP Error was encountered Severity: Notice Message: Undefined index: id Filename: models/gallery_model.php Line Number: 48 I’ve tried all sorts of ways to get the value over, but my limited knowledge keeps getting in the way. Any help would be really appreciated.

  • Export CSV from Mysql

    - by ss888
    Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble exporting a csv file that is created from one of my mysql tables using php. The code I'm using prints the correct data, but I can't see how to download this data in a csv file, providing a download link to the created file. I thought the browser was supposed to automatically provide the file for download, but it doesn't. (Could it be because the below code is called using ajax?) Any help greatly appreciated - code below, S. include('../config/config.php'); //db connection settings $query = "SELECT * FROM isregistered"; $export = mysql_query ($query ) or die ( "Sql error : " . mysql_error( ) ); $fields = mysql_num_fields ( $export ); for ( $i = 0; $i < $fields; $i++ ) { $header .= mysql_field_name( $export , $i ) . "\t"; } while( $row = mysql_fetch_row( $export ) ) { $line = ''; foreach( $row as $value ) { if ( ( !isset( $value ) ) || ( $value == "" ) ) { $value = "\t"; } else { $value = str_replace( '"' , '""' , $value ); $value = '"' . $value . '"' . "\t"; } $line .= $value; } $data .= trim( $line ) . "\n"; } $data = str_replace( "\r" , "" , $data ); if ( $data == "" ) { $data = "\n(0) Records Found!\n"; } //header("Content-type: application/octet-stream"); //have tried all of these at sometime //header("Content-type: text/x-csv"); header("Content-type: text/csv"); //header("Content-type: application/csv"); header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=export.csv"); //header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=export.xls"); header("Pragma: no-cache"); header("Expires: 0"); echo '<a href="">Download Exported Data</a>'; //want my link to go in here... print "$header\n$data";

  • Load php file wth xml header

    - by John Smith
    I have a php file with an xml header and xml code, named test.php. How do I load this file as an xml? The following doesn't work: $xml = simplexml_load_file('test.php'); echo $xml; I just get a white page. The test file is saved as php, as it's dynamic. It's loading data from the tradedoubler api. The xml looks something like this: <voucherList> <voucher> <id>115</id> <programId>111</programId> <programName>Program 111</programName> <code>AF30C5</code> <updateDate>1332422674941</updateDate> <startDate>1332370800000</startDate> <endDate>1363906800000</endDate> <title>Voucher number one</title> <shortDescription>Short description of the voucher.</shortDescription> <description>This is a long version of the voucher description.</description> <voucherTypeId>1</voucherTypeId> <defaultTrackUri>http://clk.tradedoubler.com/click?a(222)p(111)ttid(13)</defaultTrackUri> <siteSpecific>True</siteSpecific> </voucher> <voucher> <id>116</id> <programId>111</programId> <programName>Program 111</programName> <code>F90Z4F</code> <updateDate>1332423212631</updateDate> <startDate>1332370800000</startDate> <endDate>1363906800000</endDate> <title>The second voucher</title> <shortDescription>Short description of the voucher.</shortDescription> <description>This is a long version of the voucher description.</description> <voucherTypeId>1</voucherTypeId> <defaultTrackUri>http://clk.tradedoubler.com/click?a(222)p(111)ttid(13)url(http://www.example.com/product?id=123)</defaultTrackUri> <siteSpecific>False</siteSpecific> <landingUrl>http://www.example.com/product?id=123</landingUrl> </voucher> </voucherList>

  • How would I add an if statement into MSQLI query?

    - by Josh
    Okay so I'm just learning mysqli and I'm having a little trouble putting this code together. I've posted the mysqli query below and then below that is the code I'm trying to combine with the mysqli query and I can't seem to get it to work. Maybe what I'm doing isn't possible, but the third section below is how I had the query written for mysql and it's working fine. Answers in code are appreciated! Thanks! MYSQLI QUERY: <?php require("../config.php"); if ($stmt = $mysqli->prepare("SELECT firstname,lastname,spousefirst,phonecell,email,date,contacttype,status FROM contacts WHERE contacttype IN ('Buyer','Seller','Buyer / Seller','Investor') ORDER BY date DESC")) { $stmt->execute(); $stmt->bind_results($firstname,$lastname,$spousefirst,$phonecell,$email,$date,$contacttype,$status); while ($stmt->fetch()) { echo ''.$firstname.' '." ".' '.$lastname.' '.",".' '.$spousefirst.' '.",".' '.$phonecell.' '.",".' '.$email.' '.",".' '.$date.' '.",".' '.$contacttype.' '.",".' '.$status.'</br>'; } $stmt->close(); } $mysqli->close(); ?> WHAT I'M TRYING TO COMBINE THE ABOVE WITH: if (($_GET['date'] == 'today')) { $sql = "SELECT * FROM contacts WHERE contacttype IN ('Buyer','Seller','Buyer / Seller','Investor') AND date = DATE(NOW()) ORDER BY date DESC"; } WHAT I HAD BEFORE WITH MYSQL THAT WORKS: <?php require("../config.php"); $sql = "SELECT * FROM contacts WHERE contacttype IN ('Buyer','Seller','Buyer / Seller','Investor') AND status = 'New' ORDER BY date DESC"; if (($_GET['date'] == 'today')) { $sql = "SELECT * FROM contacts WHERE contacttype IN ('Buyer','Seller','Buyer / Seller','Investor') AND date = DATE(NOW()) ORDER BY date DESC"; } ?>
