  • CheckBox Command Behaviors for Silverlight MVVM Pattern

    - by Blake Blackwell
    I am trying to detect when an item is checked, and which item is checked in a ListBox using Silverlight 4 and the Prism framework. I found this example on creating behaviors, and tried to follow it but nothing is happening in the debugger. I have three questions: Why isn't my command executing? How do I determine which item was checked (i.e. pass a command parameter)? How do I debug this? (i.e. where can I put break points to begin stepping into this) Here is my code: View: <ListBox x:Name="MyListBox" ItemsSource="{Binding PanelItems, Mode=TwoWay}"> <ListBox.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal"> <CheckBox IsChecked="{Binding Enabled}" my:Checked.Command="{Binding Check}" /> <TextBlock x:Name="DisplayName" Text="{Binding DisplayName}"/> </StackPanel> </DataTemplate> </ListBox.ItemTemplate> </ListBox> ViewModel: public MainPageViewModel() { _panelItems.Add( new PanelItem { Enabled = true, DisplayName = "Test1" } ); Check = new DelegateCommand<object>( itemChecked ); } public void itemChecked( object o ) { //do some stuff } public DelegateCommand<object> Check { get; set; } Behavior Class public class CheckedBehavior : CommandBehaviorBase<CheckBox> { public CheckedBehavior( CheckBox element ) : base( element ) { element.Checked +=new RoutedEventHandler(element_Checked); } void element_Checked( object sender, RoutedEventArgs e ) { base.ExecuteCommand(); } } Command Class public static class Checked { public static ICommand GetCommand( DependencyObject obj ) { return (ICommand) obj.GetValue( CommandProperty ); } public static void SetCommand( DependencyObject obj, ICommand value ) { obj.SetValue( CommandProperty, value ); } public static readonly DependencyProperty CommandProperty = DependencyProperty.RegisterAttached( "Command", typeof( CheckBox ), typeof( Checked ), new PropertyMetadata( OnSetCommandCallback ) ); public static readonly DependencyProperty CheckedCommandBehaviorProperty = DependencyProperty.RegisterAttached( "CheckedCommandBehavior", typeof( CheckedBehavior ), typeof( Checked ), null ); private static void OnSetCommandCallback( DependencyObject dependencyObject, DependencyPropertyChangedEventArgs e ) { CheckBox element = dependencyObject as CheckBox; if( element != null ) { CheckedBehavior behavior = GetOrCreateBehavior( element ); behavior.Command = e.NewValue as ICommand; } } private static CheckedBehavior GetOrCreateBehavior( CheckBox element ) { CheckedBehavior behavior = element.GetValue( CheckedCommandBehaviorProperty ) as CheckedBehavior; if( behavior == null ) { behavior = new CheckedBehavior( element ); element.SetValue( CheckedCommandBehaviorProperty, behavior ); } return behavior; } public static CheckedBehavior GetCheckCommandBehavior( DependencyObject obj ) { return (CheckedBehavior) obj.GetValue( CheckedCommandBehaviorProperty ); } public static void SetCheckCommandBehavior( DependencyObject obj, CheckedBehavior value ) { obj.SetValue( CheckedCommandBehaviorProperty, value ); } } I used this article to get me started, but I'll readily admit this is over my head.

  • How do I force showing a tooltip in WPF

    - by user316030
    Hello, I'd like to show a tooltip when I move the mouse. Here is my code: private void Grid_MouseMove(object sender, MouseEventArgs e) { Grid grid = (Grid) sender; if (e.GetPosition(grid).X < 100) grid.ToolTip = e.GetPosition(grid).X.ToString(); else grid.ToolTip = null; } However, the tooltip disappears after I click on the grid. Is there a way to force showing the tooltip?

  • ActionScript/Flex ArrayCollection of Number objects to Java Collection<Long> using BlazeDS

    - by Justin
    Hello, I am using Flex 3 and make a call through a RemoteObject to a Java 1.6 method and exposed with BlazeDS and Spring 2.5.5 Integration over a SecureAMFChannel. The ActionScript is as follows (this code is an example of the real thing which is on a separate dev network); import com.adobe.cairngorm.business.ServiceLocator; import mx.collections.ArrayCollection; import mx.rpc.remoting.RemoteObject; import mx.rpc.IResponder; public class MyClass implements IResponder { private var service:RemoteObject = ServiceLocator.getInstance().getRemoteOjbect("mySerivce"); public MyClass() { [ArrayElementType("Number")] private var myArray:ArrayCollection; var id1:Number = 1; var id2:Number = 2; var id3:Number = 3; myArray = new ArrayCollection([id1, id2, id3]); getData(myArray); } public function getData(myArrayParam:ArrayCollection):void { var token:AsyncToken = service.getData(myArrayParam); token.addResponder(this.responder); //Assume responder implementation method exists and works } } This will make a call, once created to the service Java class which is exposed through BlazeDS (assume the mechanics work because they do for all other calls not involving Collection parameters). My Java service class looks like this; public class MySerivce { public Collection<DataObjectPOJO> getData(Collection<Long> myArrayParam) { //The following line is never executed and throws an exception for (Long l : myArrayParam) { System.out.println(l); } } } The exception that is thrown is a ClassCastException saying that a java.lang.Integer cannot be cast to a java.lang.Long. I worked around this issue by looping through the collection using Object instead, checking to see if it is an Integer, cast it to one, then do a .longValue() on it then add it to a temp ArraList. Yuk. The big problem is my application is supposed to handle records in the billions from a DB and the id will overflow the 2.147 billion limit of an integer. I would love to have BlazeDS or the JavaAdapter in it, translate the ActionScript Number to a Long as specified in the method. I hate that even though I use the generic the underlying element type of the collection is an Integer. If this was straight Java, it wouldn't compile. Any ideas are appreciated. Solutions are even better! :)

  • How to solve QPixmap::fromImage memory leak?

    - by dodoent
    Hello everyone! I have a problem with Qt. Here is a part of code that troubles me: void FullScreenImage::QImageIplImageCvt(IplImage *input) { help=cvCreateImage(cvGetSize(input), input->depth, input->nChannels); cvCvtColor(input, help, CV_BGR2RGB); QImage tmp((uchar *)help->imageData, help->width, help->height, help->widthStep, QImage::Format_RGB888); this->setPixmap(QPixmap::fromImage(tmp).scaled(this->size(), Qt::IgnoreAspectRatio, Qt::SmoothTransformation)); cvReleaseImage(&help); } void FullScreenImage::hideOnScreen() { this->hide(); this->clear(); } void FullScreenImage::showOnScreen(IplImage *slika, int delay) { QImageIplImageCvt(slika); this->showFullScreen(); if(delay>0) QTimer::singleShot(delay*1000, this, SLOT(hideOnScreen())); } So, the method showOnScreen uses private method QImageIplImageCvt to create QImage from IplImage (which is used by the openCV), which is then used to create QPixmap in order to show the image in full screen. FullScreenImage class inherits QLabel. After some delay, the fullscreen picture should be hidden, so I use QTimer to trigger an event after some delay. The event handler is the hideOnScreen method which hides the label and should clear the memory. The problem is the following: Whenever I call QPixmap::fromImage, it allocates the memory for the pixmap data and copies the data from QImage memory buffer to the QPixmap memory buffer. After the label is hidden, the QPixmap data still remains allocated, and even worse, after the new QPixmap::fromImage call the new chunk of memory is allocated for the new picture, and the old data is not freed from memory. This causes a memory leak (cca 10 MB per method call with my testing pictures). How can I solve that leak? I've even tried to create a private QPixmap variable, store pixmap created by the QPixmap::fromImage to it, and then tried to call its destructor in hideOnScreen method, but it didn't help. Is there a non-static way to create QPixmap from QImage? Or even better, is there a way to create QPixmap directly from IplImage* ? Thank you in advance for your answers.

  • Problem with redirecting *.domain.com & domain.com to www.domain.com for HTTPS

    - by Mat E.
    We have a site I'll call acme.com. Most of the time you see http://www.acme.com and sometimes we redirect you to https://www.acme.com. We want to redirect anyone going to http://acme.com or http://*.acme.com to http://www.acme.com, and the same for https. (It's mainly to avoid the alert you get if you go to https://acme.com instead of https://www.acme.com) Our vhost file is at the end of the post. It works nicely except for one strange behavior: http://acme.com - successfully redirects to http://www.acme.com http://www.acme.com - successfully does not redirect http://foo.acme.com - successfully redirects to http://www.acme.com https://acme.com - successfully redirects to https://www.acme.com https://www.acme.com - successfully does not direct https://foo.acme.com - ERROR - redirects to http://www.acme.com It's this last result I can't fathom. I've tried a lot of trial and error solutions from Google & Stack Overflow but nothing seems to change it. Even if we swap the order of the configurations (so that 443 is before 80) it still redirects https://foo.acme.com to http://www.acme.com We are running Apache/2.2.12 on Ubuntu. Here's the configuration file: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName www.acme.com ServerAlias acme.com *.acme.com ServerSignature On DocumentRoot /var/www/acme.com/public RailsEnv 'production' PassengerHighPerformance on <Directory /var/www/acme.com/public> AllowOverride all Options -MultiViews </Directory> SSLEngine Off CustomLog /var/log/apache2/acme.log combined ErrorLog /var/log/apache2/acme-error.log # Possible values include: debug, info, notice, warn, error, crit, alert, emerg. • Sorting Android ListView

    - by aeoth
    I'm only starting with Android dev, and while the Milestone is a nice device Java is not my natural language and I'm struggling with both the Google docs on Android SDK, Eclipse and Java itself. Anyway... I'm writing a microblog client for Android to go along with my Windows client (MahTweets). At the moment I've got Tweets coming and going without fail, the problem is with the UI. The initial call will order items correctly (as in highest to lowest) 3 2 1 When a refresh is made 3 2 1 6 5 4 After the tweets are processed, I'm calling adapter.notifyDataSetChanged(); Initially I thought that getItem() on the Adapter needed to be sorted (and the code below is what I ended up with), but I'm still not having any luck. public class TweetAdapter extends BaseAdapter { private List<IStatusUpdate> elements; private Context c; public TweetAdapter(Context c, List<IStatusUpdate> Tweets) { this.elements = Tweets; this.c = c; } public int getCount() { return elements.size(); } public Object getItem(int position) { Collections.sort(elements, new IStatusUpdateComparator()); return elements.get(position); } public long getItemId(int id) { return id; } public void Remove(int id) { notifyDataSetChanged(); } public View getView(int position, View convertView, ViewGroup parent) { RelativeLayout rowLayout; IStatusUpdate t = elements.get(position); rowLayout = t.GetParent().GetUI(t, parent, c); return rowLayout; } class IStatusUpdateComparator implements Comparator { public int compare(Object obj1, Object obj2) { IStatusUpdate update1 = (IStatusUpdate)obj1; IStatusUpdate update2 = (IStatusUpdate)obj2; int result = update1.getID().compareTo(update2.getID()); if (result == -1) return 1; else if (result == 1) return 0; return result; } } } Is there a better way to go about sorting ListViews in Android, while still being able to use the LayoutInflater? (rowLayout = t.GetParent().GetUI(t, parent, c) expands the UI to the specific view which the microblog implementation can provide)

  • How to fix a NHibernate lazy loading error "no session or session was closed"?

    - by MCardinale
    I'm developing a website with ASP.NET MVC, NHibernate and Fluent Hibernate and getting the error "no session or session was closed" when I try to access a child object. These are my domain classes: public class ImageGallery { public virtual int Id { get; set; } public virtual string Title { get; set; } public virtual IList<Image> Images { get; set; } } public class Image { public virtual int Id { get; set; } public virtual ImageGallery ImageGallery { get; set; } public virtual string File { get; set; } } These are my maps: public class ImageGalleryMap:ClassMap<ImageGallery> { public ImageGalleryMap() { Id(x => x.Id); Map(x => x.Title); HasMany(x => x.Images); } } public class ImageMap:ClassMap<Image> { public ImageMap() { Id(x => x.Id); References(x => x.ImageGallery); Map(x => x.File); } } And this is my Session Factory helper class: public class NHibernateSessionFactory { private static ISessionFactory _sessionFactory; private static ISessionFactory SessionFactory { get { if(_sessionFactory == null) { _sessionFactory = Fluently.Configure() .Database(MySQLConfiguration.Standard.ConnectionString(MyConnString)) .Mappings(m => m.FluentMappings.AddFromAssemblyOf<ImageGalleryMap>()) .ExposeConfiguration(c => c.Properties.Add("hbm2ddl.keywords", "none")) .BuildSessionFactory(); } return _sessionFactory; } } public static ISession OpenSession() { return SessionFactory.OpenSession(); } } Everything works fine, when I get ImageGallery from database using this code: IImageGalleryRepository igr = new ImageGalleryRepository(); ImageGallery ig = igr.GetById(1); But, when I try to access the Image child object with this code string imageFile = ig.Images[1].File; I get this error: Initializing[Entities.ImageGallery#1]-failed to lazily initialize a collection of role: Entities.ImageGallery.Images, no session or session was closed Someone know how can I fix this? Thank you very much!

  • Spring mail support - no subject

    - by Trick
    I have updated my libraries, and now e-mails are sent without subject. I don't know where this happened... Mail API is 1.4.3., Spring 2.5.6. and Spring Integration Mail 1.0.3.RELEASE. <!-- Definitions for SMTP server --> <bean id="mailSender" class="org.springframework.mail.javamail.JavaMailSenderImpl"> <property name="host" value="${mail.host}" /> <property name="username" value="${mail.username}" /> <property name="password" value="${mail.password}" /> </bean> <bean id="adminMailTemplate" class="org.springframework.mail.SimpleMailMessage" > <property name="from" value="${mail.admin.from}" /> <property name="to" value="${mail.admin.to}" /> <property name="cc"> <list> <value>${mail.admin.cc1}</value> </list> </property> </bean> <!-- Mail service definition --> <bean id="mailService" class="net.bbb.core.service.impl.MailServiceImpl"> <property name="sender" ref="mailSender"/> <property name="mail" ref="adminMailTemplate"/> </bean> And properties mail.host,mail.username,mail.password,mail.admin.from,mail.admin.to, mail.admin.cc1. Java class: /** The sender. */ private MailSender sender; /** The mail. */ private SimpleMailMessage mail; public void sendMail() { this.mail.setSubject("Subject"); this.mail.setText("msg body"); try { getSender().send(this.mail); } catch (MailException e) { log.error("Error sending mail!",e); } } public SimpleMailMessage getMail() { return this.mail; } public void setMail(SimpleMailMessage mail) { this.mail = mail; } public MailSender getSender() { return this.sender; } public void setSender(MailSender mailSender1) { this.sender = mailSender1; } Everything worked before, I am wondering if there may be any conflicts with new libraries.

  • a4j:jsFunction with actionListener inside of h:dataTable

    - by JQueryNeeded
    Hello all, I'm having problem with using a4j:jsFunction with actionListener inside of h:dataTable, when I want to invoke an action over particular row with a4j:commandLink it works flawless but when I want to invoke the action with a4j:jsFunction & actionListener it's always invoked over the last element in dataTable Let me give you an example: <a4j:form ajaxSubmit="true" reRender="mainForm" id="mainForm"> <a4j:region> <t:saveState value="#{ts.list}" /> </a4j:region> <h:dataTable value="#{ts.list}" var="el" binding="#{ts.bind}"> <h:column>#{el}</h:column>> <h:column> <a4j:commandLink actionListener="#{ts.rem}"> <h:outputText value="delete by CMDLink" /> </a4j:commandLink> </h:column> <h:column> <a href="#" onclick="okClicked();">delete by okClicked</a> <a4j:jsFunction name="okClicked" actionListener="#{ts.rem}" /> </h:column> </h:dataTable> </a4j:form> now, the bean's code: package com.sth; import java.util.ArrayList; import java.util.List; import javax.faces.component.UIData; import javax.faces.event.ActionEvent; public class Ts { private List<String> list = new ArrayList<String>(); private UIData bind; public Ts(){ list.add("element1"); list.add("element2"); list.add("element3"); list.add("element4"); } public List<String> getList() { return list; } public void setList(List<String> list) { this.list = list; } public void rem(ActionEvent ae) { String toRem = (String) bind.getRowData(); System.out.println("Deleting " + toRem); list.remove(toRem); } public UIData getBind() { return bind; } public void setBind(UIData bind) { this.bind = bind; } } when I use a4j:commandLink to remove element, it works as its expected, but when I use a4j:jsFunction to invoke actionListener it invokes action against last element :( Any ideas? Cheers

  • WPF DataGrid and Avalon TimePicker binding problem

    - by Jorge Vargas
    I'm using a the WPF DataGrid from the wpf toolkit and a TimePicker from AvalonControlsLibrary to insert a collection of TimeSpans. My problem is that bindings are not working inside the DataGrid, and I have no clue of why this isn't working. Here is my setup: I have the following XAML: <Window x:Class="Views.TestMainWindow" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:wpf="http://schemas.microsoft.com/wpf/2008/toolkit" xmlns:a="http://schemas.AvalonControls/AvalonControlsLibrary/Controls" SizeToContent="WidthAndHeight" MinHeight="250" MinWidth="300"> <Grid> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="*" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <GroupBox Grid.Row="0"> <GroupBox.Header> Testing it: </GroupBox.Header> <wpf:DataGrid ItemsSource="{Binding Path=TestSpans}" AutoGenerateColumns="False"> <wpf:DataGrid.Columns> <wpf:DataGridTemplateColumn Header="Start"> <wpf:DataGridTemplateColumn.CellEditingTemplate> <DataTemplate> <a:TimePicker SelectedTime="{Binding Path=., Mode=TwoWay}" /> </DataTemplate> </wpf:DataGridTemplateColumn.CellEditingTemplate> <wpf:DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <TextBlock Text="{Binding}" /> </DataTemplate> </wpf:DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate> </wpf:DataGridTemplateColumn> </wpf:DataGrid.Columns> </wpf:DataGrid> </GroupBox> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal" HorizontalAlignment="Right" Grid.Row="1"> <a:TimePicker SelectedTime="{Binding Path=SelectedTime, Mode=TwoWay}" /> </StackPanel> </Grid> And this is my ViewModel: Imports System.Collections.ObjectModel Namespace ViewModels Public Class TestMainWindowViewModel Private _selectedTime As TimeSpan = DateTime.Now.TimeOfDay Public Property SelectedTime() As TimeSpan Get Return _selectedTime End Get Set(ByVal value As TimeSpan) _selectedTime = value End Set End Property Private _testSpans As ObservableCollection(Of TimeSpan) = New ObservableCollection(Of TimeSpan) Public Property TestSpans() As ObservableCollection(Of TimeSpan) Get Return _testSpans End Get Set(ByVal value As ObservableCollection(Of TimeSpan)) _testSpans = value End Set End Property Public Sub New() _testSpans.Add(DateTime.Now.TimeOfDay) _testSpans.Add(DateTime.Now.TimeOfDay) _testSpans.Add(DateTime.Now.TimeOfDay) End Sub End Class End Namespace I'm starting this window in application.xaml.vb like this: Class Application ' Application-level events, such as Startup, Exit, and DispatcherUnhandledException ' can be handled in this file. Protected Overrides Sub OnStartup(ByVal e As System.Windows.StartupEventArgs) MyBase.OnStartup(e) Dim window As Views.TestMainWindow = New Views.TestMainWindow window.DataContext = New TestMainWindowViewModel() window.Show() End Sub End Class

  • ASP.NET MVC 2 InputExtensions different on server than local machine

    - by Mike
    Hi everyone, So this is kind of a crazy problem to me, but I've had no luck Googling it. I have an ASP.NET MVC 2 application (under .NET 4.0) running locally just fine. When I upload it to my production server (under shared hosting) I get Compiler Error Message: CS1061: 'System.Web.Mvc.HtmlHelper' does not contain a definition for 'TextBoxFor' and no extension method 'TextBoxFor' accepting a first argument of type 'System.Web.Mvc.HtmlHelper' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) for this code: <%= this.Html.TextBoxFor(person => person.LastName) %> This is one of the new standard extension methods in MVC 2. So I wrote some diagnostic code: System.Reflection.Assembly ass = System.Reflection.Assembly.GetAssembly(typeof(InputExtensions)); Response.Write("From GAC: " + ass.GlobalAssemblyCache.ToString() + "<br/>"); Response.Write("ImageRuntimeVersion: " + ass.ImageRuntimeVersion.ToString() + "<br/>"); Response.Write("Version: " + System.Diagnostics.FileVersionInfo.GetVersionInfo(ass.Location).ToString() + "<br/>"); foreach (var method in typeof(InputExtensions).GetMethods()) { Response.Write(method.Name + "<br/>"); } running locally (where it works fine), I get this as output: From GAC: True ImageRuntimeVersion: v2.0.50727 Version: File: C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Web.Mvc\2.0.0.0__31bf3856ad364e35\System.Web.Mvc.dll InternalName: System.Web.Mvc.dll OriginalFilename: System.Web.Mvc.dll FileVersion: 2.0.50217.0 FileDescription: System.Web.Mvc.dll Product: Microsoft® .NET Framework ProductVersion: 2.0.50217.0 Debug: False Patched: False PreRelease: False PrivateBuild: False SpecialBuild: False Language: Language Neutral CheckBox CheckBox CheckBox CheckBox CheckBox CheckBox CheckBoxFor CheckBoxFor CheckBoxFor Hidden Hidden Hidden Hidden HiddenFor HiddenFor HiddenFor Password Password Password Password PasswordFor PasswordFor PasswordFor RadioButton RadioButton RadioButton RadioButton RadioButton RadioButton RadioButtonFor RadioButtonFor RadioButtonFor TextBox TextBox TextBox TextBox TextBoxFor TextBoxFor TextBoxFor ToString Equals GetHashCode GetType and when running on the production server (where it fails), I see: From GAC: True ImageRuntimeVersion: v2.0.50727 Version: File: C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Web.Mvc\2.0.0.0__31bf3856ad364e35\System.Web.Mvc.dll InternalName: System.Web.Mvc.dll OriginalFilename: System.Web.Mvc.dll FileVersion: 2.0.41001.0 FileDescription: System.Web.Mvc.dll Product: Microsoft® .NET Framework ProductVersion: 2.0.41001.0 Debug: False Patched: False PreRelease: False PrivateBuild: False SpecialBuild: False Language: Language Neutral CheckBox CheckBox CheckBox CheckBox CheckBox CheckBox Hidden Hidden Hidden Hidden Hidden Hidden Password Password Password Password RadioButton RadioButton RadioButton RadioButton RadioButton RadioButton TextBox TextBox TextBox TextBox ToString Equals GetHashCode GetType note that "TextBoxFor" is not present (hence the error). • JSF a4j:commandButton not working when 'disabled' is set

    - by Jon
    Hello, When I include a 'disabled' attribute on an a4j:commandButton, the button's action is not performed. Taking the 'disabled' attribute out causes it to work properly. I am not doing any special validation (that I'm aware of) and am not seeing any validation error messages. Here is part of my page: <t:dataTable id="myTable" var="region" value="#{MyPageBackingBean.regions}" width="100%"> ... <a4j:commandButton value="Update" action="#{region.doUpdate}" oncomplete="alert('done');" disabled="#{!empty region && region.messageEmpty}" immediate="true"/> ... </t:dataTable> Any ideas? Thanks! Edit: I tried setting preserveDataModel="true" on the t:dataTable to no avail. I also made a test having an a4j:commandButton and text box with no data table, but the backing bean action is still not being fired: <h:form> <a4j:region> <a4j:outputPanel id="testregion"> <h:messages id="messages"/> <a4j:status> <f:facet name="start"> <h:graphicImage value="/images/progress_indicator.gif"/> </f:facet> </a4j:status> <h:inputTextarea rows="5" value="#{MyPageBackingBean.myValue}" style="width:100%; border: 1px solid #99CCFF;"> <a4j:support event="onkeyup" reRender="testregion" eventsQueue="messageModificationQueue" ignoreDupResponses="true" requestDelay="500"/> </h:inputTextarea> <a4j:commandButton id="doDelete" value="Delete" action="#{MyPageBackingBean.dummy}" reRender="testregion" disabled="#{empty MyPageBackingBean.myValue}"/> <h:outputText value="#{MyPageBackingBean.myValue}"/> </a4j:outputPanel> </a4j:region> </h:form> Here is the new backing bean code used for testing: private String m_myValue = null; public String getMyValue() { return m_myValue; } public void setMyValue(String value) { m_myValue = value; } private String mystr2 = null; public String dummy() { mystr2 = "hello"; return null; } Thanks!

  • MEF Property Export with PartCreationPolicy

    - by Daniel Skinner
    When I try to do this: [Export(typeof(IMyService))] [PartCreationPolicy(CreationPolicy.Shared)] private MyService Service { get { var service = new MyService(); service.Configure(); return service; } } I get a compile error: Attribute 'PartCreationPolicy' is not valid on this declaration type. It is only valid on 'class' declarations. Is this a bug? I don't see why MEF would allow property exports but not allow one to specify the part lifetime. Using VS2010 RC.

  • [AS3/C#] Byte encryption ( DES-CBC zero pad )

    - by mark_dj
    Hi there, Currently writing my own AMF TcpSocketServer. Everything works good so far i can send and recieve objects and i use some serialization/deserialization code. Now i started working on the encryption code and i am not so familiar with this stuff. I work with bytes , is DES-CBC a good way to encrypt this stuff? Or are there other more performant/secure ways to send my data? Note that performance is a must :). When i call: ReadAmf3Object with the decrypter specified i get an: InvalidOperationException thrown by my ReadAmf3Object function when i read out the first byte the Amf3TypeCode isn't specified ( they range from 0 to 16 i believe (Bool, String, Int, DateTime, etc) ). I got Typecodes varying from 97 to 254? Anyone knows whats going wrong? I think it has something to do with the encryption part. Since the deserializer works fine w/o the encryption. I am using the right padding/mode/key? I used: http://code.google.com/p/as3crypto/ as as3 encryption/decryption library. And i wrote an Async tcp server with some abuse of the threadpool ;) Anyway here some code: C# crypter initalization code System.Security.Cryptography.DESCryptoServiceProvider crypter = new DESCryptoServiceProvider(); crypter.Padding = PaddingMode.Zeros; crypter.Mode = CipherMode.CBC; crypter.Key = Encoding.ASCII.GetBytes("TESTTEST"); AS3 private static var _KEY:ByteArray = Hex.toArray(Hex.fromString("TESTTEST")); private static var _TYPE:String = "des-cbc"; public static function encrypt(array:ByteArray):ByteArray { var pad:IPad = new NullPad; var mode:ICipher = Crypto.getCipher(_TYPE, _KEY, pad); pad.setBlockSize(mode.getBlockSize()); mode.encrypt(array); return array; } public static function decrypt(array:ByteArray):ByteArray { var pad:IPad = new NullPad; var mode:ICipher = Crypto.getCipher(_TYPE, _KEY, pad); pad.setBlockSize(mode.getBlockSize()); mode.decrypt(array); return array; } C# read/unserialize/decrypt code public override object Read(int length) { object d; using (MemoryStream stream = new MemoryStream()) { stream.Write(this._readBuffer, 0, length); stream.Position = 0; if (this.Decrypter != null) { using (CryptoStream c = new CryptoStream(stream, this.Decrypter, CryptoStreamMode.Read)) using (AmfReader reader = new AmfReader(c)) { d = reader.ReadAmf3Object(); } } else { using (AmfReader reader = new AmfReader(stream)) { d = reader.ReadAmf3Object(); } } } return d; }

    In silverlight, I can not get INotifyPropertyChanged to work like I want it to when binding to a dictionary. In the example below, the page binds to the dictionary okay but when I change the content of one of the textboxes the CustomProperties property setter is not called. The CustomProperties property setter is only called when CustomProperties is set and not when the values within it are set. I am trying to do some validation on the dictionary values and so am looking to run some code when each value within the dictionary is changed. Is there anything I can do here? C# public partial class MainPage : UserControl { public MainPage() { InitializeComponent(); MyEntity ent = new MyEntity(); ent.CustomProperties.Add("Title", "Mr"); ent.CustomProperties.Add("FirstName", "John"); ent.CustomProperties.Add("Name", "Smith"); this.DataContext = ent; } } public class MyEntity : INotifyPropertyChanged { public event PropertyChangedEventHandler System.ComponentModel.INotifyPropertyChanged.PropertyChanged; public delegate void PropertyChangedEventHandler(object sender, System.ComponentModel.PropertyChangedEventArgs e); private Dictionary<string, object> _customProps; public Dictionary<string, object> CustomProperties { get { if (_customProps == null) { _customProps = new Dictionary<string, object>(); } return _customProps; } set { _customProps = value; if (PropertyChanged != null) { PropertyChanged(this, new PropertyChangedEventArgs("CustomProperties")); } } } } VB Partial Public Class MainPage Inherits UserControl Public Sub New() InitializeComponent() Dim ent As New MyEntity ent.CustomProperties.Add("Title", "Mr") ent.CustomProperties.Add("FirstName", "John") ent.CustomProperties.Add("Name", "Smith") Me.DataContext = ent End Sub End Class Public Class MyEntity Implements INotifyPropertyChanged Public Event PropertyChanged(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.ComponentModel.PropertyChangedEventArgs) Implements System.ComponentModel.INotifyPropertyChanged.PropertyChanged Private _customProps As Dictionary(Of String, Object) Public Property CustomProperties As Dictionary(Of String, Object) Get If _customProps Is Nothing Then _customProps = New Dictionary(Of String, Object) End If Return _customProps End Get Set(ByVal value As Dictionary(Of String, Object)) _customProps = value RaiseEvent PropertyChanged(Me, New PropertyChangedEventArgs("CustomProperties")) End Set End Property End Class Xaml <TextBox Height="23" Name="TextBox1" Text="{Binding Path=CustomProperties[Title], Mode=TwoWay}" /> <TextBox Height="23" Name="TextBox2" Text="{Binding Path=CustomProperties[FirstName], Mode=TwoWay}" /> <TextBox Height="23" Name="TextBox3" Text="{Binding Path=CustomProperties[Name], Mode=TwoWay}" />

  • help setting up wsHttpBinding WCF service on .net

    - by manu1001
    I'm trying to host a WCF service with wsHttpBinding. I created a certificate using makecert and put some lines in web.config. This is the error that I'm getting: System.ArgumentException: The certificate 'CN=WCfServer' must have a private key that is capable of key exchange. The process must have access rights for the private key. On googling up it seems to be some issue with access rights on the certificate file. I used cacls to give read permission to NETWORK SERVICE and also my username but it didn't change anything. I also went to security settings in the properties of the certificate file and gave full control to NETWORK SERVICE and my username. Again to no avail. Can you guide me as to what the problem is and what exactly I need to do? I'm really flaky with these certificate things. Here's my web.config: <system.serviceModel> <services> <service name="Abc.Service" behaviorConfiguration="Abc.ServiceBehavior"> <endpoint address="" binding="wsHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="Abc.BindConfig" contract="Abc.IService"> <identity> <dns value="localhost"/> </identity> </endpoint> <endpoint address="mex" binding="mexHttpBinding" contract="IMetadataExchange"/> </service> </services> <behaviors> <serviceBehaviors> <behavior name="Abc.ServiceBehavior"> <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="true"/> <serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="false"/> <serviceCredentials> <clientCertificate> <authentication certificateValidationMode="PeerTrust"/> </clientCertificate> <serviceCertificate findValue="WCfServer" storeLocation="CurrentUser" storeName="My" x509FindType="FindBySubjectName" /> </serviceCredentials> </behavior> </serviceBehaviors> </behaviors> <bindings> <wsHttpBinding> <binding name="Abc.BindConfig"> <security mode="Message"> <message clientCredentialType="Certificate" /> </security> </binding> </wsHttpBinding> </bindings> </system.serviceModel>

  • DataForm commit button is not enabled when data changed.

    - by Grayson Mitchell
    This is a weird problem. I am using a dataform, and when I edit the data the save button is enabled, but the cancel button is not. After looking around a bit I have found that I have to implement the IEditableObject in order to cancel an edit. Great I did that (and it all works), but now the commit button (Save) is grayed out, lol. Anyone have any idea's why the commit button will not activate any more? Xaml <df:DataForm x:Name="_dataForm" AutoEdit="False" AutoCommit="False" CommandButtonsVisibility="All"> <df:DataForm.EditTemplate > <DataTemplate> <StackPanel Name="rootPanel" Orientation="Vertical" df:DataField.IsFieldGroup="True"> <!-- No fields here. • [Java] RSA BadPaddingException : data must start with zero

    - by Robin Monjo
    Hello everyone. I try to implement an RSA algorithm in a Java program. I am facing the "BadPaddingException : data must start with zero". Here are the methods used to encrypt and decrypt my data : public byte[] encrypt(byte[] input) throws Exception { Cipher cipher = Cipher.getInstance("RSA/ECB/PKCS1Padding");// cipher.init(Cipher.ENCRYPT_MODE, this.publicKey); return cipher.doFinal(input); } public byte[] decrypt(byte[] input) throws Exception { Cipher cipher = Cipher.getInstance("RSA/ECB/PKCS1Padding");/// cipher.init(Cipher.DECRYPT_MODE, this.privateKey); return cipher.doFinal(input); } privateKey and publicKey attributes are read from files this way : public PrivateKey readPrivKeyFromFile(String keyFileName) throws IOException { PrivateKey key = null; try { FileInputStream fin = new FileInputStream(keyFileName); ObjectInputStream ois = new ObjectInputStream(fin); BigInteger m = (BigInteger) ois.readObject(); BigInteger e = (BigInteger) ois.readObject(); RSAPrivateKeySpec keySpec = new RSAPrivateKeySpec(m, e); KeyFactory fact = KeyFactory.getInstance("RSA"); key = fact.generatePrivate(keySpec); ois.close(); } catch (Exception e) { e.printStackTrace(); } return key; } Private key and Public key are created this way : public void Initialize() throws Exception { KeyPairGenerator keygen = KeyPairGenerator.getInstance("RSA"); keygen.initialize(2048); keyPair = keygen.generateKeyPair(); KeyFactory fact = KeyFactory.getInstance("RSA"); RSAPublicKeySpec pub = fact.getKeySpec(keyPair.getPublic(), RSAPublicKeySpec.class); RSAPrivateKeySpec priv = fact.getKeySpec(keyPair.getPrivate(), RSAPrivateKeySpec.class); saveToFile("public.key", pub.getModulus(), pub.getPublicExponent()); saveToFile("private.key", priv.getModulus(), priv.getPrivateExponent()); } and then saved in files : public void saveToFile(String fileName, BigInteger mod, BigInteger exp) throws IOException { FileOutputStream f = new FileOutputStream(fileName); ObjectOutputStream oos = new ObjectOutputStream(f); oos.writeObject(mod); oos.writeObject(exp); oos.close(); } I can't figured out how the problem come from. Any help would be appreciate ! Thanks in advance.

  • WebLogic job scheduling

    - by XpiritO
    Hello, overflowers :) I'm trying to implement a WebLogic job scheduling example, to test my cluster capabilities of fail-over on scheduled tasks (to ensure that these tasks are executed on fail over scenario). With this in mind, I've been following this example and trying to configure everything accordingly. Here are the steps I've done so far: Configured a cluster with 1 admin server (AdminServer) and 2 managed instances (Noddy and Snoopy); Set up database tables (using Oracle XE): ACTIVE and WEBLOGIC_TIMERS; Set up data source to access DB and associated it to the scheduling tasks under "Settings for cluster" "Scheduling"; Implemented a job (TimerListener) and a servlet to initialize the job scheduling, as follows: . package timedexecution; import java.io.IOException; import java.io.PrintWriter; import java.io.Serializable; import java.text.SimpleDateFormat; import java.util.Date; import javax.naming.InitialContext; import javax.naming.NamingException; import javax.servlet.ServletException; import javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet; import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest; import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletResponse; import commonj.timers.Timer; import commonj.timers.TimerListener; import commonj.timers.TimerManager; public class TimerServlet extends HttpServlet { private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L; protected static void logMessage(String message, PrintWriter out){ out.write("<p>"+ message +"</p>"); System.out.println(message); } @Override public void service(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response) throws ServletException, IOException { PrintWriter out = response.getWriter(); // out.println("<html>"); out.println("<head><title>TimerServlet</title></head>"); // try { // logMessage("service() entering try block to intialize the timer from JNDI", out); // InitialContext ic = new InitialContext(); TimerManager jobScheduler = (TimerManager)ic.lookup("weblogic.JobScheduler"); // logMessage("jobScheduler reference " + jobScheduler, out); // jobScheduler.schedule(new ExampleTimerListener(), 0, 30*1000); // logMessage("Timer scheduled!", out); // //execute this job every 30 seconds logMessage("service() started the timer", out); // logMessage("Started the timer - status:", out); // } catch (NamingException ne) { String msg = ne.getMessage(); logMessage("Timer schedule failed!", out); logMessage(msg, out); } catch (Throwable t) { logMessage("service() error initializing timer manager with JNDI name weblogic.JobScheduler " + t,out); } // out.println("</body></html>"); out.close(); } private static class ExampleTimerListener implements Serializable, TimerListener { private static final long serialVersionUID = 8313912206357147939L; public void timerExpired(Timer timer) { SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat(); System.out.println( "timerExpired() called at " + sdf.format( new Date() ) ); } } } Then I executed the servlet to start the scheduling on the first managed instance (Noddy server), which returned as expected: (Servlet execution output) service() entering try block to intialize the timer from JNDI jobScheduler reference weblogic.scheduler.TimerServiceImpl@43b4c7 Timer scheduled! service() started the timer Started the timer - status: Which resulted in the creation of 2 rows in my DB tables: WEBLOGIC_TIMERS table state after servlet execution: "EDIT"; "TIMER_ID"; "LISTENER"; "START_TIME"; "INTERVAL"; "TIMER_MANAGER_NAME"; "DOMAIN_NAME"; "CLUSTER_NAME"; ""; "Noddy_1268653040156"; "[datatype]"; "1268653040156"; "30000"; "weblogic.JobScheduler"; "myCluster"; "Cluster" ACTIVE table state after servlet execution: "EDIT"; "SERVER"; "INSTANCE"; "DOMAINNAME"; "CLUSTERNAME"; "TIMEOUT"; ""; "service.SINGLETON_MASTER"; "6382071947583985002/Noddy"; "QRENcluster"; "Cluster"; "10.03.15" Although, the job is not executed as scheduled. It should print a message on the server's log output (Noddy.out file) with a timestamp, saying that the timer had expired. It doesn't. My log files state as follows: Admin server log (myCluster.log file): ####<15/Mar/2010 10H45m GMT> <Warning> <Cluster> <test-ad> <Noddy> <[STANDBY] ExecuteThread: '1' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <> <1268649925727> <BEA-000192> <No currently living server was found that could host TimerMaster. • What might cause this ExecutionEngineException?

    - by Qwertie
    I am trying to use Reflection.Emit to generate a wrapper class in a dynamic assembly. Automatic wrapper generation is part of a new open-source library I'm writing called "GoInterfaces". The wrapper class implements IEnumerable<string> and wraps List<string>. In C# terms, all it does is this: class List1_7931B0B4_79328AA0 : IEnumerable<string> { private readonly List<string> _obj; public List1_7931B0B4_79328AA0(List<string> obj) { this._obj = obj; } IEnumerator IEnumerable.GetEnumerator() { return this._obj.GetEnumerator(); } public sealed IEnumerator<string> GetEnumerator() { return this._obj.GetEnumerator(); } } However, when I try to call the GetEnumerator() method on my wrapper class, I get ExecutionEngineException. So I saved my dynamic assembly to a DLL and used ildasm on it. Is there anything wrong with the following code? .class public auto ansi sealed List`1_7931B0B4_79328AA0 extends [mscorlib]System.Object implements [mscorlib]System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable`1<string>, [Loyc.Runtime]Loyc.Runtime.IGoInterfaceWrapper { .field private initonly class [mscorlib]System.Collections.Generic.List`1<string> _obj .method public hidebysig virtual final instance class [mscorlib]System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerator`1<string> GetEnumerator() cil managed { // Code size 12 (0xc) .maxstack 1 IL_0000: ldarg.0 IL_0001: ldfld class [mscorlib]System.Collections.Generic.List`1<string> List`1_7931B0B4_79328AA0::_obj IL_0006: call instance valuetype [mscorlib]System.Collections.Generic.List`1/Enumerator<!0> class [mscorlib]System.Collections.Generic.List`1<string>::GetEnumerator() IL_000b: ret } // end of method List`1_7931B0B4_79328AA0::GetEnumerator .method public hidebysig virtual final instance class [mscorlib]System.Collections.IEnumerator System.Collections.IEnumerable.GetEnumerator() cil managed { .override [mscorlib]System.Collections.IEnumerable::GetEnumerator // Code size 12 (0xc) .maxstack 1 IL_0000: ldarg.0 IL_0001: ldfld class [mscorlib]System.Collections.Generic.List`1<string> List`1_7931B0B4_79328AA0::_obj IL_0006: call instance valuetype [mscorlib]System.Collections.Generic.List`1/Enumerator<!0> class [mscorlib]System.Collections.Generic.List`1<string>::GetEnumerator() IL_000b: ret } // end of method List`1_7931B0B4_79328AA0::System.Collections.IEnumerable.GetEnumerator ... I have a test suite that wraps all sorts of different things, including interfaces derived from other interfaces, and multiple interface methods with identical signatures. It's only when I try to wrap IEnumerable<T> that this problem occurs. I'd be happy to send the source code (2 *.cs files, no dependencies) if anyone would like.
