  • Express XPath as an expression tree

    If I have an XPath query like NodeA/NodeB[@WIDTH and not(@WIDTH="20")] | NodeC[@WIDTH and not(@WIDTH="20")]/NodeD Is there any API available to visualize this XPath query as a stack of atomic expressions, something like (following is generic) Get results of NodeA, call it "first set" Get results of NodeB from "first set" Filter where [@WIDTH and not(@WIDTH="20")] Filter NodeD, call this "node d for B" Get results of NodeC from "first set" Filter where [@WIDTH and not(@WIDTH="20")] Filter NodeD, call this "node d for C" Combine "node d for B" and "node d for C" I am trying to see if we can convert the XPath expression into custom expression which is close to english and vice versa. If no API is available, what would be the best approach? Thanks in advance.

  • Inserting code to HTML view from a pop up initiated from visual view

    I am trying to insert html into the HTML view.What i have done is to have tinymce advanced(a wordpress plugin) button that throws a popup and in it is all the necessary things to insert the html.The tinymce buttons are however only visible on the visual view. Question 1: Is it a plugin or hack that can allow one to parse html inside the visual view Question 2: Is it possible to insert html code to the html view from a popup initiated from the visual view

  • why my unit testing taken more than normal time to run in VS 2010 Premium [on hold]

    I have only 4 proeject in my solutions. Am trying to run a unit test for one of my class in one of the project. I Create the unit test by: Right clicking on the class choose the create unit test option. I followed the wizard to the end.which resulting the test creation. I just pass the values of the parameter and run the test. but my test keep running. Both surprisingly it runs on other developers pc. NB:My class is connecting to the database and my application is asp.net web form. i know this is not recommended but i want to have my test running now. i have tried alot of samples on the internet but still my problem persist. Could any one tell me the cause of the extreme slowness(more than 30 minutes)

PosterCatID)        {            PosterContext ctx = new PosterContext();            IQueryable<Poster> query = ctx.Posters;            if (PosterCatID.HasValue && PosterCatID > 0)            {                query = query.Where(p=>p.PosterCategoryID==PosterCatID);            }            return query;                    } This is a very simple method that returns information about posters related to the PosterCatID passed to it.I bind the value from the query string to the PosterCatID parameter at run time.This is all possible due to the QueryStringAttribute class that lives inside the System.Web.ModelBinding and gets the value of the query string variable id.5) I run my application and then click on the "Midfilders" link. Have a look at the picture below to see the results.  In the Site.css file I added some new CSS rules to make everything more presentable. .posters-featured {    width:840px;    background-color:#efefef;}.posters-featured   a:link, a:visited,    a:active, a:hover {        color: #000033;    }.posters-featured    a:hover {        background-color: #85c465;    }  6) I run the application again and this time I do not choose any category, I simply navigate to the PosterList.aspx page. I see all the posters since no query string was passed as a parameter.Have a look at the picture below   ?ake sure you place breakpoints in the code so you can see what is really going on.In the next post I will show you how to display poster details.Hope it helps!!!

Has anyone tested these procedures and can confirm they are accurate? There are a couple of steps that violate the SharePoint rule "Do Not Modify the Database!" Thank you, Keith

  • Can I import another users calendar into Outlook 2010 and maintain his color highlights?

    I am importing a colleagues complete Outlook 2010 calendar (sent by mail as .ics file). However, all coloring is lost: categories, automatically formatted entries, etc. are not visualized in my colleagues colors - just in a non-distinguishable standard office style. Is there a way that my colleague also sends me his color preferences, ie. to maintain his individual coloring in my view? Thanks in advance! Matthias

  • How do I rename the Tfs_xxxConfiguration database for TFS 2010?

    When we installed TFS 2010, we made some poor decisions in naming our databases. I have figured out how to rename everything except for the Tfs_xxxConfiguration database. How can I get this renamed? I can only find a read-only display of the connection string to it - cannot find where to alter that connection string either directly or indirectly. I'd really prefer to not have to rebuild it from scratch... again... Thanks!
