  • sbt: "test" works "test:run" not

    I try to establish a build pipeline on Jenkins with a Play(2.0.2) project. As I want to just build the sources once and use the classes for downstream builds, I now have created a "compile"-job, that runs "sbt test:compile". That works so far. The next job should then just run the compiled tests. If I use "sbt test" it works as expected, but compiles the sources again. But if I try to run "sbt test:run" it says: [info] Loading project definition from ~/myproject/project [info] Set current project to myproject (in build file: ~/myproject/) java.lang.RuntimeException: No main class detected. at scala.sys.package$.error(package.scala:27) [error] {file:~/myproject/test:run: No main class detected. The same happens locally. I can run "sbt test" but not "sbt test:run". Same error. Is there someone who can point me to the right direction?

    On my VDS I use nginx, django and tornado. I had just one project, Now i gonna deploy another one project with a different domain name. I want to use different databases and folders. I know how to configure nginx for serving static resourses , but what about tornado? Should i run separeted instance of tornado for each project or is there any better solution?

  • NUnit for VS has suddenly bombed.. Anyone else experience this?

    I'm getting the following set of errors in a project, that previously worked fine, from NUnit for VS when I try to run either individual or all of the tests in a given solution. Error loading C:\Path to Application\Application\Application.ApplicationTests\bin\Debug\Application.ApplicationTests.dll: The method or operation is not implemented. Error loading C:\Path to Application\Application\Application.FileDetectorTests\bin\Debug\FileDetectorTests.dll: The method or operation is not implemented. Error loading C:\Path to Application\Application\Application.PresentationTests\bin\Debug\Application.PresentationTests.dll: The method or operation is not implemented. Error loading C:\Path to Application\Application\Application.DomainTests\bin\Debug\Application.DomainTests.dll: The method or operation is not implemented. I've verified that each project is setup with the appropriate ProjectTypeGuids for a test project in the Project file. I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling NUnit for VS, but have had no luck. Does anyone have any advice as to how I might start troubleshooting this? If I open each individual test project outside of the main solution (that includes all projects, by the way,) and save it as it's own solution, they run just fine. Nothing of note has changed since this stopped working. Thanks! Ian

    I created Setup project for my Excel add-in project according to the article: Deploying a Visual Studio Tools for the Office System 3.0 Solution for the 2007 Microsoft Office System Using Windows Installer http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc563937(office.12).aspx I add prerequisites such as 2007 Interop assemblies(Office2007PIA) and when I run my setup file it does install it. But the problem is : That my setup ALWAYS installs it even if my computer already has Office2007PIA. How can I configure my setup project that it will first check if Office2007PIA is installed and continue the installation of my project without installing Office2007PIA? Thanks!

    Hi, I want to write stored procedure in visual studio that as a parameter recieves the name of project and runs in database TT and copies data from TT.dbo.LCTemp (where the LC is the name of the project recieved as a parameter) table to "TT.dbo.Points" table. both tables have 3 columns: PT_ID, Projectname and DateCreated I think I have written it wrong, here it is: ALTER PROCEDURE dbo.FromTmpToRegular @project varchar(10) AS BEGIN declare @ptID varchar(20) declare @table varchar(20) set @table = 'TT.dbo.' + @project + 'Temp' set @ptID = @table + '.PT_ID' Insert into TT.dbo.Points Select * from [@table] where [@ptID] Not in(Select PT_ID from TT.dbo.Points) END Any idea what I did wrong?     The connection string in my app.config for my C# project looks like Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;AttachDbFilename='|DataDirectory|\EIC.mdf';Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True" I am writing unit tests for the project and have the set the test run configuration to copy the EIC.mdf, but I do am not able to reference the Deployed copy of EIC.mdf to be referenced by the app.config I created for the test project. If I set it to Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;AttachDbFilename='EIC.mdf';Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True" It still does not find the mdf file.

  • How to get presentation tools like windows office without windows office?

    On working with MS Office and LibreOffice I found that (as countless have) Libreoffice is not quite up to Windows' level. I would like windows Office on Ubuntu but that means using Wine, which I don't want. I tried using wine but it went a teansy bit wrong (where i have no idea). So I tend to avoid it. Hence the question : Is there any way I can get any program/plugin/patch/anyting-I-missed to get same functionality as MS Office in Ubuntu? I have Ubuntu 12.04 64bit (if required).
