    I'm working on a server application in Java. I've successfully got past the handshake portion of the communication process, but how do I go about decrypting my input stream? I did some research online and it seems like I might need to use a Cipher, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

  • Strange results - I obtain same value for all keys

    I have a problem with mapreduce. Giving as input a list of song ("Songname"#"UserID"#"boolean") i must have as result a song list in which is specified how many time different useres listen them... so a output ("Songname","timelistening"). I used hashtable to allow only one couple . With short files it works well but when I put as input a list about 1000000 of records it returns me the same value (20) for all records.   • why custom state won't work with compound drawable?

    Hello I am trying to make a password registration widget that will show a little checkbox in the textbox when both password boxes match. I decided to go about this by extending EditText to implement a valid and an empty state and then just use a state-list drawable to handle everything else. I followed the same method that the CompoundButton uses to add a custom state and everything seems to be right but the image will never change no matter what the state is (custom state or even state_focused etc) Is there some reason that the compound drawables of a TextView wouldn't work as a state-list drawable? Or, am I doing something wrong? Why is that? I thought the both values the function returns (reference to const char* "" and reference to a static member) cannot be temporary.

I have the following domain classes class User { static hasMany = [goals: Goal] } So each User has a list of Goal objects. I want to be able to take an instance of User and return 5 Users with the highest number of matching Goal objects (with the instance) in their goals list. However, using the Timer class I'm not sure how I would invoke the method I need on the current instance since I can't pass any parameters to the timertasks run method? Is there an easy way to do this or am I going about this the wrong way? (note: this is a console project only, no GUI) ========== code edited I've changed the code to the above following the recommendations, and it works almost as I expect however the thread still doesnt seem to end properly. I was the while loop would die and control would eventually come back to the main method. Any ideas?

But the response time for TestCase1 is about 3 times better than TestCase2. Can someone see what i am missing here ? many thanks

On the C++ side, I do: OutputDebugStringW((wchar_t*)pString);, but that shows that the non-ASCII characters were replaced by '?'.
