    I'm working on User Management System in ASP.NET MVC3. Administrator/Editor can search, insert, update and delete other users from the system. What should I do when admin/editor clicks on Delete user link? Should I redirect him to new yes/no confirmation page or display some jquery popup window? Should I then redirect him to the home page and display message The user has been successfully deleted from the system, or simple redirection should be just fine?

  • How do I get a transparent page/screen in Firefox?

    So, everytime I open a new tab (about:newtab) or just a white screen (about:blank). It would be better, Firefox displays my desktop instead (or what's 'behind' firefox) to work more efficient. I thought to try Firefox's Add-On 'Stylish' to solve this problem, but those scripts are only for Windows with Aero support. So... any other ideas how I get a transparent page/screen in Firefox? EDIT To clean things up: I don't want the whole window transparent!

    I have two problems with new Ubuntu 13.10. 1, Black screen problem: - Between GRUB and loading screen adopts black screen for 10 minutes and between the loading screen and the desktop appearance is a black screen for 20-30 seconds. 2, Wake problem: - After the suspension is to move the keyboard does not work or I can not do anything about it, because nothing works. 3, Full screen problem - When I back from full screen, I can't see the Unity, instead I see the window. :/ Please help me.

    Can anyone make something out of this? After getting the invitation for upgrading from 12.04 to 14.04, I click on the 'Yes, Upgrade Now' button and I get a little window saying 'Authentication failed', Authenticating the upgrade failed. There may be a problem with the network or with the server. It's weird since I have a good solid connection while doing this. Thanks and any help would be great. Thanks again!

    I took 50 gigs of space and partitioned it off in windows. I then removed rights from any user with access to the computer as it is part of a domain. I'm not pc literate enough to know exactly which options to select in order to install ubuntu into the partition. I do not know which selections to make for the otions that are shown on the partition window during the installation process. If anyone could inform me how to correctly do this it would be much appreciated !

    Hello everyone another new Linux user here.Most things are going well except for the 360 controller.There are so many posts about this it gets a little confusing on which to follow.Anyways someone told me that ubuntu 12.04 comes with a 360 wireless receiver and its just plug and play.When i plug my receiver in and run jstest-gtk 4 generic xbox pad come up in the joystick preferences window.now the controller itself isnt even on,and when it is on it doesnt sync.All four lights just flash.What am I doing incorrectly? Before it is asked yes this controller & receiver both work in Windows 7

    Mac OSX - Snow leopard is host OS and Ubuntu-10.1 and windows xp are guest OS. I recently updated vittualbox to 4.1.10 Ubuntu did not boot immediately, it did an entire system scan and took about 2 hrs to boot. Now it boots regularly but it does not find wireless internet connection, even connecting cable does not help. However internet works great in window xp. I am totally lost, I would appreciate your help

    I am using Java Process API to write a class that receives binary input from the network (say via TCP port A), processes it and writes binary output to the network (say via TCP port B). I am using Windows XP. The code looks like this. There are two functions called run() and receive(): run is called once at the start, while receive is called whenever there is a new input received via the network. Run and receive are called from different threads. The run process starts an exe and receives the input and output stream of the exe.     In a Windows Server 2003 environment with a self hosted .Net 3.5/WCF application, how can an application report its status to a BigIP Local Traffic Manager? Example: One of my services errors. My custom WCF application hosting software (written because Windows Server 2008 is not yet available and I'm using WCF TCP bindings) detects this and wants to report itself as down until it can recover the errant service. It needs to report itself as down to the BigIP LTM so that it is no longer sent client originated requests.
