    I need to generate different assembly names depending on the platform target. For example, I have a console application "bob.exe". Instead of building for AnyCPU, I need to build explicitly for x86 and x64 and thus want "bob32.exe" and "bob64.exe". The Application tab in Visual Studio 2010 project options disables the Platform combobox. Build Events also don't allow options per platform so I can't rename it afterwards very easily.

    Hi, I was told the array name is a pointer char a[] = "a" but when sizeof(a) = 2 why not it is a size of pointer here? however when I define it like this char* a ="a"; we get sizeof(a) =4; Well, I think I need more information about how does sizeof work with the array names.... However there are a couple of methods so I loop through an array of method names and call the method like this: my $methodName ="helloWorld"; $myObject->$methodNames; This works quite nice but some objects don't have all methods. How can I tell whether $myObject has a method called helloWorld or not?

    I'm working with a CMS system where I cannot control database column names.   • NullPointerException while trying to bind at SimpleCursorAdapter

    I have asked a question before where i found my mistake. However now i am facing with another problem. I have checked all the similar errors asked on StackOverflow but without success.Any help is appriciated. The idea here is that i am getting image names from DB so depending on those names images from Drawable folder will be shown in a listView together with a description but im getting an error of NullPointException at setViewValue. But it stops at imageImageView.setImageResource(imgResourceIds[i]); To see from where that NullPointerException is coming, i commented out imageImageView.setImageResource(imgResourceIds[i]);. This time imageNames(those with a TAG) and imgResourceIds(those system printed out) came correctly but doubled, when i removed cursor.MoveToNext() last row were doubled. Here is the screen shot of that: I have tried all the suggestions on stack about gettin a NullException but without success. Any idea where i am doing mistake?

For examle: we have 2 process: * /usr/bin/foo1 * /usr/bin/foo2 They are run under account with username userA and try to open for modify file: /home/userA/test.txt I want that if foo1 try to open file - it's ok. But if foo2 try to open this file - i have message about this in /var/log Problem is that both processes have the same user ID. And i cant use RBAC by username.

    I use Solr in my website, and now I am about to configure my VPS account. I am at the stage where I need to install java in order to make Solr work. Now, I only plan on running solr, and using it as it is (I have no java programming skills at all), so my Q is, do I need the entire JDK which includes JRE, or is JRE enough?     What is the "computer science" term for the practice of assigning a special meaning to one of a type's values. For example a numeric variable called "amount_to_transfer" where the special value "0" means "entire account balance" or a date value "spouse_date_of_birth" where "1/1/1800" means "unmarried". I happen to feel that this is quite a bad "smell", but I'd like to have a name for it, and if possible, some blog post or article about why it's bad and how to fix it.
