  • access virtual host(name based) in android

    hii i have set up virtual host in apache and and added relevent information in windows host file. it works fine for desktop browsers but i am not able to access this from android simulator's browser. as a example a i created a virtual host "testweb" i added this information in widows hosts file also so in desktop browser it works fine with the url http://testweb/ but in android simulator browser it displays error tht page has been moved .... so plz give me solution what i shud do to work it and where i am getting wrong...plz help me

  • ant scp task through a proxy

    I am trying to make an ant build file to remote copy a war file. Ant scp task uses a jsch library for remote copying. How do I make it work through a proxy, the jsch library clearly supports it. does not work for jsch. Jsch does not read environment variables like http_proxy is there another solution ?

  • Compiling PHP with GD crashes with EXC_BREAKPOINT (SIGTRAP) on PPC Mac

    First of all, I should say that I have searched the whole Internet for this problem but I couldn't find any solution yet. I have a Mac mini PowerPC (PPC) and I run Apache webserver (httpd-2.2.22) with PHP (5.4.0) and I do all the configure & compilation jobs by myself. If configure with: './configure' '--prefix=/usr/local/php5' '--mandir=/usr/share/man' '--infodir=/usr/share/info' '--sysconfdir=/etc' '--with-config-file-path=/etc' '--with-zlib' '--with-zlib-dir=/usr' '--with-openssl=/usr' '--without-iconv' '--enable-exif' '--enable-ftp' '--enable-mbstring' '--enable-mbregex' '--enable-sockets' '--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql' '--with-pdo-mysql=/usr/local/mysql' '--with-mysqli=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_config' '--with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs' '--with-mcrypt' then the PHP works flawlessly. But if I add the GD module by adding these to the script above: '--with-gd' '--with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/lib' '--with-freetype-dir=/usr/X11R6' '--with-png-dir=/usr/X11R6' '--with-xpm-dir=/usr/X11R6' the PHP gets configured and compiled without any errors but it causes EXC_BREAKPOINT (SIGTRAP) (see the Crash Reporter log below) when I request a page which calls PHP module. It's obvious that something related to the GD module is causing this, probably FreeType module because it's present in the log but it may not be definite of course. When the PHP crashes (or more accurately, httpd) the CPU goes 100% for 10 to 15 seconds until it recovers. I need to use the GD module and keep the Mac mini PowerPC.     Hi; Supposing we have opened a connection of type either TCP or UDP to another remote machine. Having this connection, can we allow multiple connections virtually over this connection like VPN(but not VPN)? I mean multiple applications run on remote machine and you try to access to these applications, is there any multiplexing mechanism or concept supporting such feature?

    I have concerns about the performance of the following architecture: j2ee application in an appserver, ejb session bean and DAOs remote (rich) client, a swing app. A classic, form-based client only one stateless ejb, the ejb is accessed via web services, not rmi, through a homegrown framework each web service request will get authenticated against an LDAP no state stored on the server, only client-side sessions I guess working on the rich GUI will involve a remote call in every 2-10 seconds, or more, per user. What do you think?

  • SaveFileDialog problem (C#) (VS2008)

    Hi all, I am having an issue with SaveFileDialog for some reason. All I want to do is extract data from a text box line by line and write it to a text file, then save that text file to the desktop. The first bit of code works fine (though it doesn't save to the desktop). The second bit of code is what I want to use, but when it creates the text file the text file is empty. What did I do wrong in my second bit of code?     I have php scripts that do things like register, login, upload. I would like to keep the HTML in a seperate file so that say I make a desktop client I can just use the php files to do the login register etc. Basically to have say a front end, the HTML or desktop client and then only one backend, the php. Is that possible?

  • What is auto-mounting my media volume?

    Something is repeatedly mounting my "media" share, doing something with it, then quietly un-mounting it with no notifications at the user level. from the little I can gleaned from the console messages below, I thought I'd managed to stop it, if not understand it last night when I followed instructions for deleting all traces of the Google Update Daemon. I've not been using any Google apps whatsoever, so I was surprised to see that in Console. What's more surprising, and perhaps a little distressing, is that the same thing occurred this evening, when the Google Daemon is long gone. I don't have that log because I can't recall precisely what time it occurred. I'll do a search and provide it if you wish, though. In the meantime, any help with this would be extremely appreciated. I've asked over at Apple Discussions but I think it might be a little deeper than those manning the boards this weekend are comfortable with. It's certainly beyond my meager skills.     I installed mercurial-server on one of my machines, cloned my project there, it has 3 subrepos, and when I try to clone it back to another location I get an error: remote: mercurial-server: Cannot create repo under existing repo abort: no suitable response from remote hg! So I'm starting to think that mercurial-server doesn't handle subrepo. Any clue?

  • Location Services are always disabled in Mac OS X Lion

    A simple location services program was working fine on my machine and suddenly stopped working. Upon further exploring the problem, I realized that some process has disabled location services in System Preferences » Security & Privacy » Privacy. I checked Enable Location Services, but again it got disabled automatically. After some research I found that it's not just my program, even built-in system functions are also failing because of this problem for example System Preferences » Date & Time » Time Zone failed to get the current location.     So I've finally got to the 300+ cycles with my MBP 2008's original battery. Apple is pretty much "on the money" too! I am at 79% Health and getting the Condition: Replace Soon warning. So I went out to the closest Apple Store and bought a replacement. I would like to get the same lifespan out of my replacement if possible. My question is: The battery comes with a 2 dot (green) charge on the indicator, should I put the battery in and let it run down and do a full recharge OR begin charging it immediately and then let it run all the way to empty and recharge?

    I bought a month ago the D-Link DWA-160 Xtreme N Dual Band USB Adapter and I wonder about the speed. I have a 60Mbps but the speed is never above 300Kbps when I browse Internet or download something. Even from Microsoft or Apple (the fastest server I found). Now on Windows 8, we can see the Wi-Fi stats in Task Manager, there they are: Notice the red rectangle. The signal is 3/5 and I'm about 5 meters far from my router. An Apple Time-Capsule. Also, the connection type is 802.11g, I want N. I made this config in my Device Properties: Does anyone figured out to force the 802.11n in Windows? (Windows 8 preferably)
