  I have a need to create a utility in Suze Linux. The utility will make modifications to some text files, and then use the information in those text files to program a device in the computer using a different executable which accepts command line parameters. I am fluent in c#, but have never worked with Linux. Should I take the time to learn Gnu C++ to do this, or install Mono? How would I execute the programming utility and pass it command line parameters?

• Unable to display google maps in a dojo layout

  Dear All, I am a real newbie in programming and now I have to combine Google Maps and Dojo. Both alone are fine but when I try to implement a Google Map into a Dojo content pane which is embedded in a border-container it simply does not work.   Using GDI+ I've made a heatmap bmp and I'd like to superimpose it on top of my bmp map. I've saved the two bmps to disk, and they look good, I just need a way to put them together.
