  I have been looking everywhere how to play a ringtone/alarm sound in android. I press a button and I want to play a ringtone/alarm sound. I could not find a easy, straightforward sample. Yes, I already looked at Alarm clock source code... but it is not straightforward and I cannot compile it.   I'm following a tutorial for creating an animation using Xcode Version 4.5.2 in Mountain Lion 10.8.2. When trying to build the code below, I get a Parse Error Unexpected '@' in program showing up for the 'hopAnimation=' line. While searching, I have found examples that build simple animations in a different way, but nothing that seems to address this particular problem. I'm a noob to XCode programming and if anyone could help me correct the syntax, I would highly appreciate it. • How to troubleshoot errors with TeamCity

  I'm following this guide to set up a small environment for source control and automated builds - mostly for learning what it is and how it works, but also for using in those of my hobby projects that I believe will actually be useful some day. However, at the step where he commits and builds, I fail to get a success status in the TeamCity history log. I keep getting the error described in the stack trace below.   I have C++ project in the Ubuntu OS, Eclipse CDT. My final goal is to build the project binaries for FreeBSD OS. The first test. I create simple C++ CDT project with main.cpp file: cout << "OK" << endl; and build it.   I am trying to use the Parse.com REST API in Java. I have gone through the 4 solutions given here https://parse.com/docs/api_libraries and have selected Parse4J. After importing the source into Netbeans, along with importing the following libraries: org.slf4j:slf4j-api:jar:1.6.1 org.apache.httpcomponents:httpclient:jar:4.3.2 org.apache.httpcomponents:httpcore:jar:4.3.1 org.json:json:jar:20131018 commons-codec:commons-codec:jar:1.9 junit:junit:jar:4.11 ch.qos.logback:logback-classic:jar:0.9.28 ch.qos.logback:logback-core:jar:0.9.28 I ran the example code from https://github.com/thiagolocatelli/parse4j Parse.initialize(APP_ID, APP_REST_API_ID); // I replaced these with mine ParseObject gameScore = new ParseObject("GameScore"); gameScore.put("score", 1337); gameScore.put("playerName", "Sean Plott"); gameScore.put("cheatMode", false); gameScore.save(); And I got that it was missing org.apache.commons.logging, so I downloaded that and imported it.   I've seen the other question on here about loading jQuery in a Greasemonkey. Having tried that method, with this require statement inside my ==UserScript== tags: // @require http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js I still get the following error message in Firefox's error console: Error: Component is not available Source File: file:///Users/greg/Library/Application%20Support/ Firefox/Profiles/xo9xhovo.default/gm_scripts/myscript/jquerymin.js Line: 36 This stops my greasemonkey code from running. I've made sure I included the @require for jQuery and saved my js file before installing it, as required files are only loaded on installation.   I'm using Django 1.2 trunk with South 0.7 and an AutoOneToOneField copied from django-annoying. South complained that the field does not have rules defined and the new version of South no longer has an automatic field type parser.   Nevrona Designs' Rave Reports is a Report Engine for use by Embarcadero's Delphi IDE. This is what I call the Rave Endless Loop bug. In Rave Reports version 6.5.0 (VCL10) that comes bundled with Delphi 2006, there is a nortorious bug that plagues many Rave report developers. If you have a non-empty dataset, and the data rows for this dataset fit exactly into a page (that is to say there are zero widow rows), then upon PrintPreview, Rave will get stuck in an infinite loop generating pages. This problem has been previously reported in this newsgroup under the following headings: "error: generating infinite pages"; Hugo Hiram 20/9/2006 8:44PM "Rave loop bug. • Using DirectX Effect11 with Visual Studio 2012

  I recently updated to Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate. I was programming previously with DirectX 11 June 2010 SDK and want to continue to do so using Visual Studio 2012. However, I discovered that VS2012 comes with its own DirectX SDK (in Windows Kit 8.0) and I've been trying to migrate my code using the newer versions of d3d11. Everything went fine until I try to use effect files in my project (.fx files). I had to compile the Effects11 Sample in the DirectX SDK using VS2012 and link the lib file in my project. That went fine too. However, when I compile my project the function D3DX11CreateEffectFromMemory returns a E_NOINTERFACE error (no such interface is supported). Can anyone tell me why is that? Note that I'm using the d3d11.lib from the Windows Kit and the d3dx11.lib from the DirectX SDK. Perhaps I shouldn't mix them? However, everything else works fine when I mix them, except for the effect file creation. Any help would be appreciated. P.S. I don't know if this is helpful but just so you know, if I add an additional library directory in the project settings of "DirectXSDKInstallPath\lib\x86\" it works. Why is that? Does it mean I'm using the older version of the libraries? This will give a ton of warnings about redefined headers in winerror.h
