    I am trying to find a setting by which the connection pool monitoring information would come in the server.log whenever an error like "error allocating a connection" or "connection closed" occur. I found some blog entries that talk about this but they mention it from GUI prespective. However, I want a setting on the connection pool itself so that perodically the connection pool monitoring information would be shown in the logs. Does anyone know of such a setting? On Sun app Server 8.X it used to be perf-monitor

  • python 'self' explained

    What is the purpose of the 'self' word in python. I understand it refers to the specific object created from that class, but i cant see why it explicitly needs to be added to very function as a parameter. To illustrate, in ruby, i could do this: class myClass def myFunc(name) @name = name end end Which i understand, quite easily, However in python i need to include self: class myClass: def myFunc(self, name): self.name = name Can anyone talk me through this? Any help would be appreciated.

My goal is to write a SketchCast application.     May I know what is the difference among lazySet and set method for AtomicInteger. javadoc doesn't talk much about lazySet : Eventually sets to the given value. It seems that AtomicInteger will not immediately be set to the desired value, but it will be scheduled to be set in some time. But, what is the practical use of this method? Any example?

    I just want to clear this up once and for all, is it ok to subclass a UIWebView? Will I ever have to be nervous about apple rejecting the app because of a UIWebView subclass? The documentation states: Subclassing Notes The UIWebView class should not be subclassed. But at the same time Apple contradicts itself with this WWDC video: https://developer.apple.com/videos/wwdc/2011/?id=511#rich-text-editing-in-safari-on-ios In slide 41 they specifically talk about subclassing a UIWebView Thanks in advance!

I have this in my config: frontend frontend 0.0.0.0:9999 [snip] capture cookie foo len 10 Then I use nc to talk directly to the server and send it: GET / HTTP/1.1 Cookie: foo=bar I get a log line, but there's a "-" where the captured cookie should be.

It has a nightmare of dependencies on Xerces and Xalan, both of which seem to be choking under the new VisualStudio 2010 C++ compiler. I've wasted hours trying to build this thing which is a shame.   • Please summarize how to implement node base licensing

    Currently a user makes a purchase and then a license is generated and sent to that user, but the license isn't tied to a physical computer so there is nothing to prevent the user sharing the license with someone. I heard people talk about creating a license tied to the mac address of the computer, so the license only works on that computer. Now I know how to get the mac address in code but I dont understand how I can do this step when they first make the purchase on the web, so please what is the basic algorithm for node locked licenses ?
