  Hi all i am getting deployment error when i try to run my app in the device. it says "no provisioning ios devices are connected". I have ios sdk 4.1 installed on my mac and in the device the version of ios is 4.2. I have conected my device to Mac. Can i run my app under these conditions or i need to update ios sdk to 4.2 in Mac also. if yes then is there any update available so that i can update my sdk from version 4.1 to 4.2 or i have to download the whole new version of 4.2 (almost 3.5 GB). Please help.

• MeioUpload and phpThumb() does not exist error

  I am currently using CakePHP v2.2.1 and MeioUpload 4.0 along with phpThumb() to try and generate image uploads and thumbnails for those images. If i set my $actAs = array() without the thumbsizes property everything is uploaded well, but when I add the following: 'thumbsizes' => array( 'small' => array('width' => 165, 'height' => 115), 'medium' => array('width' => 800, 'height' => 600) ), to generate thumbnails I get an error stating the following: "E:/xampp/htdocs/site/vendors/phpthumb/img/posts/image-name.jpg" does not exist I have tried several different methods of fixing this from around the web and nothing seems to work. I am new to cakephp so this may be an easy fix and I am just not connecting the dots to find the solution. Any help would be very much appreciated.

  I ran across the error Socket operation on non-socket in some of my networking code when calling connect and spent a lot of time trying to figure out what was causing it. I finally figured out that the following line of code was causing the problem: if ((sockfd = socket( ai->ai_family, ai->ai_socktype, ai->ai_protocol) < 0)) { See the problem? Here's what the line should look like: if ((sockfd = socket( ai->ai_family, ai->ai_socktype, ai->ai_protocol)) < 0) { What I don't understand is why the first, incorrect line doesn't produce a warning. To put it another way, shouldn't the general form: if ( foo = bar() < baz ) do_something(); look odd to the compiler, especially running with g++ -Wall -Wextra? If not, shouldn't it at least show up as "bad style" to cppcheck, which I'm also running as part of my compile?

  Hi, I am trying to create a Custom QGraphicsItem button as shown by Fred here. The code which he posted can be found here. The problem is when I try and compile the code I get the following two errors: /usr/include/qt4/QtGui/qgraphicsitem.h ‘QGraphicsItem::QGraphicsItem(const QGraphicsItem&)’ is private /usr/include/qt4/QtCore/qobject.h ‘QObject::QObject(const QObject&)’ is private Here is the code snippet which essentially is the same as that in the sample above. The error is on the class deceleration. class MyButton : public QObject, public QGraphicsItem { Q_OBJECT Q_INTERFACES(QGraphicsItem) public: MyButton(QGraphicsItem *parent = 0); MyButton(const QString normal, const QString pressed = "", QGraphicsItem *parent = 0); .... } Interestingly the other sample as shown here works fine.   I'm helping a friend with a java problem. However, we've hit a snag. We're using Java.Util.Scanner.nextInt() to get a number from the user, asking continiously if the user gives anything else. Only problem is, we can't figure out how to do the error handeling. What we've tried: do { int reloop = 0; try { number = nextInt(); } catch (Exception e) { System.out.println ("Please enter a number!"); reloop ++; } } while(reloop != 0); Only problem is, this loops indefinatly if you enter in something not a number.   am connectting the MQ with below code. I am able connected to MQ successfully. My case is i place the messages to MQ every 1 min once. After disconnecting the cable i get a ResonCode error but IsConnected property still show true. Is this is the right way to check if the connection is still connected ? Or there any best pratcices around that.   Hello All, I am using Ubuntu + cakephp 1.3. I am trying the database migration with the help of cakeDC migration plugin. I configured the plugin as per the instructions. After selecting the file,i need to open the file for reading the data from the text file.For this, i used the following code to open the text file. fp=File.OpenText(FileUpload2.PostedFile.FileName) This is working fine in my system.The FileUpload2.PostedFile.FileName statement gives the path of the file.The File.OpenText method opens the selected file.But when i run my project in IIS,it gives the following error: "File.OpenText is not declared." The FileUpload2.PostedFile.FileName statement is not retrieving the path, it retrieves only only the filename.what could be the reason?

I'm trying to convert a System::String to a wchar_t pointer that I can keep for longer than the scope of the function. Once I'm finished with it, I want to clean it up properly.   Hi, i'm using ASP.NET + a MySql Db. I'm trying to configure a ListView so i've written: <asp:SqlDataSource ID="dsDatiUtente" runat="server" ConnectionString="Server=12.28.136.29;Database=mydb;Uid=m111d1;Pwd=fake;Pooling=false;" ProviderName="MySql.Data.MySqlClient" SelectCommand="SELECT * FROM user WHERE idUser=@IdUser" / At the beginning of my aspx page i've added <%@ Import Namespace="MySql.Data.MySqlClient" %> But if i click to the sqldatasource and click "Refresh Schema" i got this error: "Unable to retrive schema.... Unable to find the requested .Net Framework data provider" For instance, i've installed it , but i've also uninstalled old version, then installed new versions. In my project i simple copy Mysql dll into "bin" folder, then add a reference to that dll. I'm not sure is the corrected way... I need to have the "refreshed schema" to permit vs.net to build automatically my listview ... if i can't to "auto build" listview, i have to write all code by hand, and it is a too expensive work me :( What i'm wrong ?   I have a ruby-on-rails application that wishes to utilise the tumblr gem for adding posts when an action is taken (eg: creating a blog post) I currently have the tumblr gem installed and can manage to fetch my posts using @tumblruser = Tumblr::User.new('myemail','mypassword') However when i go to add a post where it asks me to pass the user information like so (according to the API for the gem) post = Tumblr::Post.create(@tumblruser, :type => 'video', :embed => @post.video_html, :title => @post.title, :caption => @post.content) it just does not want to authenticate and returns a 403 error anyone had any experience with this?
