    Hi! I have a relatively dumb newb question, Im trying to open an xlsx file for reading using the apache POI 3.6. XSSFWorkbook workBook = new XSSFWorkbook("C:\test.xlsx"); The xlsx file was saved in excel 2007, the error Im seeing is: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/xmlbeans/XmlException I dont know what the solution is... any ideas and/or example code?

  • MSSQL: How to copy a file (pdf, doc, txt...) stored in a varbinary(max) field to a file in a CLR sto

    I ask this question as a followup of this question. A solution that uses bcp and xp_cmdshell, that is not my desired solution, has been posted here: stackoverflow.com/questions/828749/ms-sql-server-2005-write-varbinary-to-file-system (sorry i cannot post a second hyperlink since my reputation is les than 10). I am new to c# (since I am a Delphi developer) anyway I was able to create a simple CLR stored procedures by following a tutorial. My task is to move a file from the client file system to the server file system (the server can be accessed using remote IP, so I cannot use a shared folder as destination, this is why I need a CLR stored procedure). So I plan to: 1) store from Delphi the file in a varbinary(max) column of a temporary table 2) call the CLR stored procedure to create a file at the desired path using the data contained in the varbinary(max) field Imagine I need to move C:\MyFile.pdf to Z:\MyFile.pdf, where C: is a harddrive on local system and Z: is an harddrive on the server. I provide the code below (not working) that someone can modify to make it work? Here I suppose to have a table called MyTable with two fields: ID (int) and DATA (varbinary(max)). Please note it doesn't make a difference if the table is a real temporary table or just a table where I temporarly store the data. I would appreciate if some exception handling code is there (so that I can manage an "impossible to save file" exception). I would like to be able to write a new file or overwrite the file if already existing. A way to directly pass the dataastream from the client application to the CLR stored procedure? (my files can be any size but also very big)

  • Get current active window's title in Java

    I am trying to write a Java program that logs what application I'm using every 5 seconds (this is a time tracker app). I need some way to find out what the current active window is. I found KeyboardFocusManager.getGlobalActiveWindow() but I can't get it to work right. A cross platform solution is preferable, but if one doesn't exist, then I'm developing for linux with X.Org.     Is it possible to translate a point relative to MainWindow to be relative to one of its child controls? For example, say a control's upper left corner was located at 500, 500 relative to MainWindow what code would convert that number to (0, 0)? I'd like the solution to be agnostic of the layout mechanism (i.e. not require me to parent the control in a Canvas and use the Top and Bottom methods).

    Ok so I am using Chromium for Ubuntu 9.10 and cannot get this working using the normal means of detecting a pop-up blocker which are... var popup = window.open(...); var blocked; if(!popup) { blocked = true; } else { blocked = false; } Also, the accepted solution in this SO post, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/668286/detect-blocked-popup-in-chrome, does not work.

    I have some tabs which have been created using Javascript and Mootools, my client wants the 'next button' at the bottom of the page to be disabled, until the tabs have been read(clicked). The page is dynamic (created with PHP and MySQL) and there could be two tabs or three, depending on the set-up. I am struggling today to think of the best solution. Any help more than welcome...

An example of a Google Chart image over https would be this: https://www.google.com/chart?cht=lc&chs=200x125&chd=s:helloWorld The problem is that while you can load an image like this by directly clicking the link, you can't include it as an image in your page. It just won't load. Any idea on how to bypass this? Or solution generally using PHP?

    Hi, I recently tried to use backgroundworker instead of "classic" threads and I'm realizing that it's causing, at least for me, more problems than solutions. I have a backgroundworker running a synchronous read (in this case from serialPort) and getting blocked around 30 seconds in 1 code line, then cancellationpending isn't the solution. I'm seeing that if the application gets closed at this point (either with the cross button and Application.Exit()) the process keeps zombie forever. I need a way to force abort or to kill the backgroundworker thread.

    Hi, I have public and private keys in separate .pem files that I would need to get into a JKS keystore somehow. Tried using the -import command in KeyTool for this, which gives an "not an X.509 certificate" error. I'm guessing the solution has to do with OpenSSL, but I'm not entirely sure what to do with it. Would really appreciate any help with this, since I'm completely clueless with everything crypto-related. Thanks in advance, --Rolf

  • DBMS debugger causes TOAD to hang

    I can start the dbms debugger in Toad and use it normally but if I hit the 'halt execution' button or just hit the 'Run' button to reach the end of the function it causes TOAD to hang. Windows reports it as not responding and I have to kill it through the task manager. I have had this problem in Toad 9.7.2.5 and Toad 10 on two different laptops. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If you have did you find a solution to this?
