• Show Add button after Edit button is clicked?

  I have a view with navigation bar control on the top. The view is in the second level with a "back" button is displayed on the left by default. In my view class, I added a default navigation edit button on the right: self.navigationbarItem.rightButtonItem = self.editButtonItem; with this line of code, an edit button is on the right side, and when it is clicked, the view (table view) becomes editable with delete mark on the left for each row. After that, the edit button's caption becomes "done". All those are done by the default edit button built in the navigation control, I think. I would like to add an add button the left, or replace "back" button when edit is clicked. I guess I have to implement some kind of delegate in my view class. This would provide a place to plug in my code to add the add button on the left when edit button is clicked, and to restore "back" button back when the done button is clicked. If so, what's the delegate? Or is there any other way to achieve it?

• How to best transfer large payloads of data using wsHttp with WCF with message security

  I have a case where I need to transfer large amounts of serialized object graphs (via NetDataContractSerializer) using WCF using wsHttp. I'm using message security and would like to continue to do so. Using this setup I would like to transfer serialized object graph which can sometimes approach around 300MB or so but when I try to do so I've started seeing a exception of type System.InsufficientMemoryException appear. After a little research it appears that by default in WCF that a result to a service call is contained within a single message by default which contains the serialized data and this data is buffered by default on the server until the whole message is completely written. Thus the memory exception is being caused by the fact that the server is running out of memory resources that it is allowed to allocate because that buffer is full. The two main recommendations that I've come across are to use streaming or chunking to solve this problem however it is not clear to me what that involves and whether either solution is possible with my current setup (wsHttp/NetDataContractSerializer/Message Security). So far I understand that to use streaming message security would not work because message encryption and decryption need to work on the whole set of data and not a partial message. Chunking however sounds like it might be possible however it is not clear to me how it would be done with the other constraints that I've listed. If anybody could offer some guidance on what solutions are available and how to go about implementing it I would greatly appreciate it. • Ejb 2.0 deployment issues on Jboss 5.1

  I am deploying an ear application on Jboss 5.1.0. and i facing some issues. I had two ears one i had copied to deploy folder and the other in deploy-hasingleton. The ear which is in deploy-hasingleton is throwing some errors.when i serached in google i came to know that there is some issue with EJB 2.x on jboss 5.1.i was not able to find the solution. • Client WCF DataContract has empty/null values from service

  I have a simple WCF service that returns the time from the server. I've confirmed that data is being sent by checking with Fiddler. Here's the result object xml that my service sends. <s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"> <s:Body> <GetTimeResponse xmlns="http://tempuri.org/"> <GetTimeResult xmlns:a="http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/TestService.DataObjects" xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <a:theTime>2010-03-26T09:14:38.066372-06:00</a:theTime> </GetTimeResult> </GetTimeResponse> </s:Body> </s:Envelope> So, as far as I can tell, there's nothing wrong on the server end. It's receiving requests and returning results. But on my silverlight client, all the members of the returned object are either null, blank or a default vaule. As you can see the server returns the current date and time. But in silverlight, theTime property on my object is set to 1/1/0001 12:00 AM (default value). Sooo methinks that the DataContracts do not match up between the server and the silverlight client. Here's the DataContract for the server [DataContract] public class Time { [DataMember] public DateTime theTime { get; set; } } Incredibly simple. And here's the datacontract on my silverlight client. [DataContract] public class Time { [DataMember] public DateTime theTime { get; set; } } Literally the only difference is the namespaces within the application. But still the values being returned are null, empty or a .NET default. Thanks for you help!

• Customizing doxygen output for the HTML Table of Contents

  I'm using doxygen to generate an API reference from source code, aiming to convert it into a CHM help file and eventually into a plugin for Eclipse. Unfortunately the default ordering and nesting of the classes, namespaces, etc. in the Table of Contents is not exactly ideal and I'd prefer to customize it if possible. By default, doxygen creates two indexes/menus for navigating the generated documentation. One is the common Table of Contents on the left frame and the other is the row of buttons at the top of each individual HTML page. The latter can be comfortably customized by editing the layout xml file as described in doxygen manual (see section 'Changing the layout of pages') but so far I've seen no way to do similar modifications for the Table of Contents. To use a precise example, I'm looking for a way to nest the three standard topics Class List, Class Hierarchy, and Class Members as subtopics inside a parent topic in the TOC, as is done by default in the menu system that's located on top of every page. I'd imagine this is not the most unusual issue and may have a known solution available. Thanks for your assistance!

• Splitting android application in to two 'branches', free and paid.

  I've developed an android-application that I'dd like to put up on the marketplace. However, I want to split it into two separate applications, one free (with ads), and one paid (logically without ads). How would I go about doing that? I'm not wondering about adding ads (I've alreaddy managed that), but how to take one existing android-application (eclipse-project) and split it into two without having to create a new project and just copy-paste every file one by one (or in batch for that matter). Is that possible? Btw, I use GIT for SCM, so I've made two separate branches, one master and one free, but I need to set some cind of config-value that makes shure that the market separates them as two different applications. Also, when a user 'upgrades', is it possible to copy the db from the free app to the paid one?

• Readdirectorychanges not working with big file

  i was working with readdirectorychangesW till i encountered an unwanted behavior.below is short reference the way i am using my readdirectorychanges func. The behavior is that in case a big file in GBs is copied to the watched directory i get the notification immediately and thereby i start doing my operation according to the notification i receive ,but the file IO ( copy operation is still pending) and that results in unxpected state. Can anyone please suggest a way to synchronize this operation. • Linux Kernel Module - Creating proc file - proc_root undeclared error

This same example is on a few sites so I assume it works. Any ideas why I'd get this error? Does my makefile need something different. • IE6 and fieldset background color?

  Hey, I'm having some difficulty with CSS and IE6 compatibility. URL: http://bit.ly/dlX7cS Problem #1: I put a background image on the fieldset around Canada and United States. In IE6 and IE7, the background bleeds above the border-top of the fieldset. So, I found a fix. It is applied only to IE browsers, and moves the legend up a few pixels, aligning the background correctly. <!-- Fix: IE6/IE7, Legends --> <!--[if lte IE 7]> <style type="text/css"> fieldset { position: relative; } fieldset legend { position: absolute; top: -0.5em; left: 0; } </style> <![endif]--> This fixes IE7. (I am testing with a multi-IE program, and it keeps crashing. My copy might not be accurate). If it's not there, any suggestions on how to fix it? Also, any suggestion on where I can download working copy of IE6? Problem #2: I have a Google Map embedded using iframe. The width of that iframe is 515px. In Firefox, Chrome, IE7 -- that is the correct alignment. But in IE6, it gets <br/> underneath the Just Energy paragraph beside it. It doesn't fit. I have to change width to 513px for it to fit. Uhm, anyone know where those 2px of difference happen?   Hello I'm trying to start with autoconf / automake for a new project. To get started, I'm reading "Using GNU Autotools" and trying to build the Hello-World-Tutorial. The required files from page 96 (real Page=105 because it's a LaTeX-Presentation) configure.ac, Makefile.am and src/Makefile.am look exactly as stated in the document.   I have written a class that will handle internal logging in my application. Now I want to use this class in another new and totally separate project. I could simply copy the file to the new project folder, but I would like to only have one copy of it to maintain so that all changes in it will apply to both projects over time. I can use the "add existing file", but where do I put the file so that the next developer knows that it is required. I have once had a "shared" folder for this but one time that folder was not brought into the next development computer. What is the best way to organize this so that it makes most sense for new maintainers and minimizes the risk for broken links in projects.

  I've got 2 radio buttons with labels: button A is checked by default in HTML (checked="checked"). They're then processed with jQuery UI Radio Button. When I check button B and refresh the page, B's label is displayed as checked (it has CSS ui-state-active class). And A's label is displayed as unchecked, even though it's A button that is actually checked. It happens in Firefox (3) and IE (8).   I used to use SVN 1.4 on OS X Leopard and everything was fine. A couple of weeks ago I installed a fresh copy of OS X 10.6. The version of SVN that comes with Snow Leopard is 1.6.5. I went ahead and built my own copy with 1.6.6. I'm using the built in apache server and just hosting repositories locally. Everything appeared to work fine until I actually tried to commit something. Everytime I try to commit a change, I get the following message: Transmitting file data .svn: Commit failed (details follow): svn: MERGE of '/svn/svn2': 409 Conflict (http://localhost) This happens with my old repositories, so I created a couple of new ones. Same deal. I also tried using the 1.6.5 version that comes with the system...same. Finally, I tried upgrading to the latest stable SVN (1.6.9) and still got the same problem. I've tried to Google every variation I can think of for this problem, but the search results are pretty much useless. I'm not using TortoiseSVN or anything special and commits fail on a new repository, so I know it's not a problem with my old repos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• Stop IIS 7 Application Pool from build script

  How can I stop and then restart an IIS 7 application pool from an MSBuild script running inside TeamCity. I want to deploy our nightly builds to an IIS server for out testers to view. I have tried using appcmd like so: appcmd stop apppool /apppool.name:MYAPP-POOL ... but I have run into elevation issues in Windows 2008 that so far have stopped me from being able to run that command from my TeamCity build process because Windows 2008 requires elevation in order to run appcmd. If I do not stop the application pool before I copy my files to the web server my MSBuild script is unable to copy the files to the server. Has anybody else seen and solved this issue when deploying web sites to IIS from TeamCity?
